Hot Water Solutions

We had a new gas tankless hot water heater installed in our new home by a different plumbing company approximately eight months ago. A few weeks ago, our carbon monoxide detectors went off in our home in the middle of the night, I was home alone due to my husband working out of town so I called 911 and the fire department came out. They traced the carbon monoxide leak coming from the hot water heater. After the original plumber told us it would be over a week before he would be able to come out to our home to assess this potentially fatal issue, I contacted Hot Water Solutions. Darren called me back the very same day and the very next day Justin was at our home assessing the problem. Turns out, the original plumber never glued the exhaust or intake lines going in or out of our hot water heater, not to mention the exhaust and intake vents on the outside of the house not only were too short, but weâ re not installed far enough away from each other to prevent the intake from pulling the exhaust back into the system. As a result weâ ve been having small amounts of carbon monoxide leaking into our home for almost a year. Fortunately, the hot water heater was in the garage so the carbon monoxide was primarily in the garage with small outs detected where the garage door leads into the house but, our grand childrenâ s bedrooms are right next to the garage so this could have been catastrophic. I have the upmost respect for Darren and Justin for their responsiveness, professionalism and expertise! We highly recommend Hot Water Solutions!

I only rated the cost at a 4 because I didn't have time to do much cost comparison. Still, it seemed to me to be a very good value considering the call was placed at about 10:00 and the new water heater was installed and running by 5:00 that same day! I would highly recommend Darrin!

What can I say, they did an outstanding job at a fair price. The guys installed two new water heaters and replaced half a dozen valves. I would (will) hire Hot Water Solutions again if the need should arise. I will also recommend Hot Water Solutions to anyone I know who needs a new hot water heater.

I didn't understand why I had to have a permit from the city to simply have my water heater replaced, the talked to me extensively about it and even went down to the permit office with me...I would say above and beyond is this company's moto.

These guys were great. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job. They have years of experience and it shows. They were willing to even come out on New Year’s Eve but I told them New Year’s Day would be fine. Sure enough they showed up at 10 AM and didn’t charge me any extra.
