Description of Work: I purchased a $65 Big Deal for a 14-point a/c tune-up. The tune-up was fine. When they came out, there was additional work they found. I felt the price was kind of high, but I went a head and did it anyway.

Description of Work: Found a leak on my A/C unit, fixed it and added refrigerant to replace what had leaked out.

Description of Work: Shumate replaced our 3-ton unit and coil. The service was professional on all levels and we had the impression that they cared about our business despite our small budget. Yet despite increasing the size of our coil to supposedly increase air flow, we have experienced a decrease in airflow compared to our previous, 15-year-old unit. The air current just isn't as strong. We are glad to have working air, but disappointed that the system seems to be performing at a lower level.

Description of Work: They did air conditioning tuneup. Very knowledgeable and thorough. They made sure they cleaned the coils ensuring the best possible efficiency. I also put both of my systems on a maintenance plan for an additional $105 that will also do the heating system maintenance.

Description of Work: Technician arrived early and was very professional and friendly. He found a leak in my compressor and quickly resolved the problem by dislodging a clog in the line. He cleaned up the water that had accumulated in the pan and took the time to explain what he did. I was really pleased because this was one of Angie's Deals and if I had not taken advantage of the special, my small leak could have turned into a really big problem requiring replacement of the compressor. Salesman arrived on time, was congenial and we never felt that he was pushy in any way...came across as a very professional individual with integrity ..which made the decision to use shumate easy. Installers were there promptly at 7:30am on the scheduled day (early even!), completed their install in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We would definitely use shumate's services in the future.

Description of Work: Tech provided (2) 14 point tune-up on units and also added refrigerant to one of the units, because it was low. Tech spent 1 1/2 hours at my home to perform tune-up.

Description of Work: A/C unit not working...technician was on time, courteous and respectful of |our home. The technician, I believe, diagnosed the problem correctly...basically needed new system as it was 17 yrs old. We also have a maintenance agreement with Shumate and that has worked well except I have seen 3 different techs on last 3 visits...it would feel better if they sent same tech that is familiar with our systems.
