Service tech found elevated CO levels and suggested replacing furnace unit. If not replacing then Burner cleaning and complete CO combustion test. Courtesy visit done three days later to meet with me and discuss elevated CO level. Test was done again and determined that CO level was well within range when reading was taken in middle of room as opposed to at the heater vent.

Great job done in two visits. We probably saved the cost of the a/c service in reduced electric bill.

During the work the technician seemed to be particularly thorough and scrupulously honest. I will definitely use Empire for all my HVAC servicing in the future.

Empire did an excellent job. Their A/C technician, a young man by the name of Lachlan, quickly diagnosed the problem (a capacitor) and repaired it. The cost, thanks to an Angie's list discount, was reasonable and Lachlan explained exactly what the problem was and how he resolved it. I will be using Empire and Lachlan, in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was pretty good. I would recommend them. They were pretty honorable. The girl was on time and pretty helpful. All in all it was a good experience. I had to pay more but I expected it so the price was fine. They came out the same day.

They do a good job. They don't include cleaning in their regular contract, which I wish was included, you have to pay a lot more. They come on time, and are professional.

This company was offering a $55 maintenance special for each AC unit. I purchased two coupons for $110. The service technician called to say when he was on the way and arrived on time. Whenever I see special, discounted offers I'm leery that it could be a bait and switch. This couldn't have gone any smoother. I'm so glad they didn't "find" anything that needed repaired or replaced. Empire provided excellent, honest, quality service so I will definitely call them again!

Empire got us on the schedule the day we called because our air system was off. They arrived on time. They did not have the part with them but were able to get it and install it the very next day. They were very professional.

I'm extremely satisfied with the work I received from Empire Heating & Air Conditioning. They came when they said they were going to come. They called ahead before they actually got to my place. They promised to do what they needed to do. Sometimes, they explained what they were doing, as far as their work was concerned.

It was okay. I thought I was getting a tune-up, but he just told me that I needed to replace some things. I wasn't really sure of what he did and didn't do, so I think he just looked at it.

Empire quickly sent out their technician to evaluate our A/C situation. He arrived on time and worked hard. When I had questions, he gave me clear, straightforward responses. When it came time to pay, he actually showed me ways to save money and also gave me ample time to do my own calculations. Our A/C is now working like new. So, Empire seems to be a good company.

The tech did a great job! He arrived earlier than planned wich allowed me to get to work earlier. He was professional and explained his findings to me in English. I'm a renter, so he too explained everything to my landlord over the phone. He recommended additional steps to ensure that the unit would last a few more years as it is an older unit. Prior to adding freon to the unit he weighed it in front of me so that I could see exactly how many pounds he used and that would be all the landlord would pay for. I then saw the reading afterwards as well. After two weeks it is blowing colder that it has in 3 years!

It turned out well. Because the cleaned it out, it has quit leaking. I would use them again.

Arrived on time and stayed until the part was installed and it was confirmed the unit was cooling and working properly. While waiting for part to be delivered, technician also provided a temporary solution for ensuring cooling comfort for upstairs. The solution worked and with the newly installed panel, the unit is working just fine. Friendly and professional technician. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

It turned out pretty good. It turned out to be a little more expensive than I had planned. I did end up spending more because I needed a part. He was very professional and he explained what I needed to know and did not treat me like I was stupid. He did get backed up and was four hours late as a result. He did call me and let me know that he was running behind. I would use him again in the future.
