So far, the service our family has received from Ragsdale Heating, Air and Plumbing has been excellent. We have been using their services for nearly a year now. The first time a Ragsdale technician came to our house was due to some issues we were having with the air conditioner last spring. The problem was easily resolved and we signed up for a service contract for the maintenance of our furnace and air conditioner. Today, two technicians from Ragsdale, Heating, Air and Plumbing came out to our house for a maintenance check of our furnace and air conditioner. The window I chose for their arrival was between 10 am and 2 pm. They arrived at 10:15; a pleasant surprise since I didn't have to wait for the full 4 hour window. The last time a technician came out to fulfill the service contract was during the Fall of 2013. Each and every technician that has been sent to our house has been friendly, professional, courteous, and on time. There were NO pushy sales tactics or anything like that; just the honest truth about the condition of our units and the possibility that we may need to change a part on one of our units later but it wasn't urgent. I don't remember the exact cost of the service contract but I do know that it was not some exhorbitant amount (it was less than $200 I believe). And that was a good price for us considering that we had not regularly maintained our units during the 5 years we had been in our home. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new service provider for their air conditioner and furnace.

Everyone at Ragsdale Heating and Air did a great job. Every detail was handled professionally. Chris Boyd came to our home, arrived at scheduled time and did a great job showing us all the options and guided us in making the decision for the unit that best fit the size of our home. He did not try to sell us more than we needed, nor did he push us to make a decision before we were ready. We talked to several companies, and it was soon clear to us that Ragsdale was the best value we could find. Our installers did an excellent job. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Jerry was great in answering questions and showing us how to work our new thermostat and all the features of our new system. I highly recommend this company. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

My experience with them has been excellent. They were very conscientious and they were on time. They quoted us when they said they were going to quote us. They quoted us a price that was very fair. They're going to perform services for us. We've hired them. They quoted us for $4700.

Tech showed up on time replaced the disposal and left me the original packaging for the disposal.

Was on time and answered all questions with great patients. It took a while to diagnose the problem. It seemed to be a bad AC unit. It is an old unit and was told need to think about replacing, but this time it was only a faulty thermostat. He didn’t have the exact thermostat we wanted so installed one we could use until the part was ordered. He came back and installed the new thermostat when it came in. If you are looking for a great and honest repair service Ragsdale is the one to call. I will be using them from now on.

The serviceman was polite, professional, explained all problems found and the process to repair prior to performing the work to ensure that I was in agreement. He work special rubber soles on his shoes to prevent from getting my carpets and tile floors soiled with dirt from the outside. He went into the house crawl space to check for any evidence of prior leakage and damage. He explained about the processes involved and all of his findings. Very pleased and satisfied. I have been a regular A/C customer for several years; they come every 6 months for routine maintenance, replace the filters in my intake vents and perform a complete check of my system. Always courteous, proficient and work with my schedule. NO complaints; VERY satisfied.

They showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly.

Company was on time and went to work right away. They sealed up duct work that should have been sealed up to begin with from the prior company that installed the first unit. They were quick in their work and did everything in a timely manner. They did however do a slight mistake when they installed. Instead of tearing off pieces of tape for the duct work for the water vaperation, they kept the tape on the spool and went around the duct work to inclose it. This causes the duct work to crimp and cause improper drainage of water from vaperation, and that makes the unit to shut off completely and has a chance of the unit to burn out. They had to replace the ductwork on this again because the duct work is a little hard to uncrimp and it's just better to replace it all together. We were without the unit for a day and a half due to heavy scheduling with other people. It is however working just fine now and hope for no more further problems.

Service person found oil on the condensor coil and housing. He did give me a quote to fix it but, found it would only be a bandaid to the existing matter. He was going to send a person out to really check things out before we decide on what to do with this unit. Whether it would be worth fixing it or replacing the unit all together.

We are extremely impressed with Ragsdale Heating, Air and Plumbing. They are professional, efficient and highly qualified. They are very personal and they are highly responsive. They were able to avert major cost on our behalf and they are reasonably priced. They don't give work that isn't necessary. They demonstrate a very high level of integrity in dealing with customers. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They were able to correct some problems.

Very well. The technician introduced himself and got right to work. He examined the unit beneath my home, tested the system and advised me of its status and then cleaned the unit. When I had used another company, in all the years they maintained my system, they never cleaned it, let alone so completely.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Our specialst Michael was very upfront, honest, and detailed about everything regarding the service perfomed on our two units. We signed up for the Gold Service plan which covers two visits per year.

The whole experience was great from beginning to end. The technician was very patient and answered all my questions about the problems I experienced with my HVAC systems.

I decided not to go with them. They were recommending stuff that I didn't need and it was way too high. They seem to be really professional and quality driven. It is not like they were out for my need. They were out for selling a few system that way over the scale of what I needed.

They did call before they arrived and arrived on time. He was very careful about showing me things that needed to be done. Explained what could be done to furnace in future. He did find that the old thermostat was not working very well and was making the furnace work a little harder with getting the signal through on what temperature it needed to be at. He also helped program the thermostat for me and showed me how to do so.

As always, the work was performed on time, in a very professional manner. Very thorough, the techs always explain the whys of what they are doing. They also had to perform some ductwork repair caused by another trade, and that also was performed in a timely and very professional manner.

When our AC died in the hotest part of the summer I went to three companies to get a quote. Ragsdale was the lowest but they coulden't replace our unit for three weeks. The salesman said don't worry he would take care of it. That afternoon one of the service crews showed up with a used temporary unit which they installed. Cool air at last. Three weeks later they installed the new unit. They spent time explaining how I should maintain my unit to keep it running like new. Needless to say I have a service contract with these fine people. They call when a service is due to set up an appointment and call back later to make sure it went well .This is a fine company.

I am using Ragsdale to perform spring and fall maintenance on our HVAC units. They do offer silver and gold maintenance plans (you do not have to purchase them). The main difference is the silver plan includes one maintenance per year and the gold two per year. (The silver plan does state it covers heat and cool). I have purchased the gold plan which costs $189 for the first unit and $89 for each additional unit. Both plans include a 15% discount on repairs as well as a few other discounts such as $30 off diagnostic fee. The price I've listed is for the initial spring air conditioning checkup. The previous owners of our home had not kept up with annual maintenance so in addition to the checkup and cleaning, the price includes a couple of high performance filters and capacitors that had to be replaced. In late July, I needed to replace a condensate pump (total bill was $153). I also used them again for the fall maintenance which was included in the gold plan. I have been very pleased with their work. They are prompt and courteous. Also, unlike previous HVAC companies I have used in the past, they do not pressure you to purchase additional products but will advise you if they see something that may be a problem down the line.

Company person showed up on time to look over the job and gave us an estimate. His office called the next day to follow up and schedule an appointment. Service person worked quickly and did a good job.
