Swan Mechanical Heating and Cooling

The company employee arrived as scheduled. However, when I asked him for an estimate, he did not give me one. The A/C had frozen from lack of Freon. He told me normally he would have to put in about 3 pound at $40.00 per pound. I thought that was a good price, and told him to complete the repairs after it defrosted. However, he told me after his inspection that he had to replace a part. The part was about 1/8th of an inch and he charges me $10..00 for it. That was okay. However, when he completed the job (approximately 10 minutes), he charged me $350.00!! I asked him why when he told me he had to put in Freon only and replace that part. He stated the extra was labor! I initially told him no, but he sprung on me a charge of $75.00 just for showing up, which he did not state when he started! I would not recommend him for any A/c jobs. I got fleeced by this company!
