We hired Plantation Renovations after interviewing several different home builders and discussing with them our vision and design ideas for our retirement home. Wade Bowman, owner, was the most helpful of the bunch we talked to and seemed genuinely interested in working with us to design and build a house to our specifications which was very important to us. We spent a few months going over designs until we ended up with exactly what we wanted and then demolition of the old cabin on the property was done and construction of the new home started. Our design had some particular areas that were a bit different than what you might find in a typical home that caused a bit of extra "hair pulling" on occasion, but Wade worked directly with us to come up with the best solutions to problems we discovered as we progressed. I can't say everything went as smooth as silk but Wade addressed each issue as it came up in a timely manner and usually was able to solve the problem to our satisfaction. Generally, we are very happy with our experience with Plantation Renovations. The only reason we didn't rate the company higher was: 1) The choice of sub-contractors, in some instances, did not work out well due to either their poor performance, abnormally high prices, or both. I was reluctant from the start about the electrical contractor and asked to get another one but was talked out of it. As it turned out, this contractor was the worst of the bunch and I understand Plantation Renovations doesn't use that company anymore. This was a very frustrating experience for me. To be fair, one contractor I had Wade hire also turned out to be pretty poor too (foam), so it happens. 2) We also had a few things that could have gone better if planning had been done to handle things like the different flooring products to make sure the floors were "evened up" to allow seamless transition between different flooring types without having to use T-moulding. A little thing but an annoyance. We have a long bedroom wall that has a "jog" in it due to a minor design error. No PVC was installed under the circular driveway for future electrical/water lines, and lights for the garage driveway didn't get power because the wiring for them was forgotten and then covered up with the concrete pour. 3) We had a number of small things that we wanted done that just didn't get completed due to one reason or another and I ended up doing all of them myself (outside floods, chimney cap, caulking of numerous areas, etc). Nothing big but it could have been completed. I rated Plantation Renovations an A overall as I think their overall work was very good (maybe not an A but certainly a B+ but that isn't an option). We had some problems but in the grand scheme of things, they were minor. We are VERY satisfied with our home (we've been in it now since August, 2014) and the few problems we had with plumbing, landscaping, and shower seats after we moved in were all fixed promptly and to our satisfaction. Wade Bowman just finished my screen porch addition and I am so pleased. The whole team is highly professional. They worked consistently and thought of everything and the work is top quality. He has a great team. I would highly recommend Plantation Renovations for any time of work.

Just wasted my time and did even give me the courtesy of calling me or explaining anything to me.

PR was very responsive to our requests and their follow up was excellent.

My wife and I hired Plantation Renovation to finish part of our unfinished basement. Wade and his crew were pleasant, easy to deal with, reliable, and the price was very reasonable. We were completely happy with the work done. Everything was completed on time, exactly as specified, and will have them back to complete our next project.

Wade and team did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom. From the demolition to the finished product the results are showroom quality. My wife and I could not be more pleased. We would definitely use Plantation Renovation for any future project.

Wade and his team were easy to work with and we would definitely use them again. The project took a little longer than we had anticipated, but overall we are satisfied. Any time we were not satisfied along the way (and those were few) Wade happily made the corrections. Hire them with confidence.

Wade and his crew simply showed up when they were supposed to, and did what they were supposed to. They followed our plans exactly and made any adjustments requested along the way. It came out very nicely and now 7 years later we have had no problems with any of the work performed. Since that time, we have also used Wade to install ridge vents on our house, and done a few minor exterior trim repairs caused by gusty winds during storms.
