It went perfectly well. I am pleased with the business model John, Jeremy and Franko follow. They came out on time for the estimate and were on time for the project. They explained the details to me and did their work and cleaned up the area. Appreciate the opportunity to do business with the small business owner who is also the provider. Their price was the best and no slickness in the sales presentation, just good solid facts. Bottom line, the day after the crawl space encapsulation, I noticed how MUCH drier and nicer the area felt and smelled. Great job American Crawlspace! Gladly will recommend your services to others.

Bottom line: My experience with American Crawlspace demonstrated the company's commitment to integrity and honesty as well as professional knowledge. I plan to use them for work on a new house I am purchasing. In my current residence I have a detached garage which has a 2.5 feet cinder block wall as part of the foundation at the back.. Two years ago I had a professional installation of a French drain and sump pump in order to prevent water leaking into the garage. It worked beautifully until we had a very heavy rain and water leaked into the garage. I found the sump pump drain clogged with debris and cleaned it out. To be safe I decided to have a professional look at my set up and see if additional work was required. American Crawlspace had good reviews and I called them. John arranged a date and time. I spoke several times with him on the phone and always reached him. He arrived exactly on time. He was friendly and professional. He carefully looked at the inside and outside and then told me my arrangement was just fine and no additional work was required. He could have tricked me into a huge project which would have cost me thousands but was honest.. And he didn't charge a service call charge for this. Since meeting with John, in spite of heavy rains, the garage has stayed dry. The clogged drain was the problem. Based upon my experience, I will use this company for a new house I am moving into. Integrity and professional knowledge define a business and American Crawlspace gets top marks.

Jon Harman and his partner were reasonably priced. He answered any questions that we had. They were very thorough making sure we were completely satisfied before they left.

On time for first visit, estimate and education on possible solutions was excellent. On time for work and did an excellent job with exterior drainage work and replacement of garden stones. Great job with crawlspace clean up and floor covering.

John was quick to respond for an inspection - very professional, on time - answered all questions - worked us into busy schedule - on time, completed work ahead of schedule. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

After responding in a timely way to my initial phone call, John came to my house, inspected our grounds and basement, and then discussed a number of alternative approaches to my water problem. While the proposal he made for his own work was more extensive than I am prepared to undertake right now, he was very understanding of my situation and gave me some excellent advice on alternative approaches.

They were fine but I have not made a decision as yet. The quote process was quick and I did not have any problems with it. The quote that they gave me was reasonable. They were very polite and came out as requested. I had the quote pretty much right away that day. They were courteous and really did a good job of explaining what my options were to make the repair.

It was a pleasure working with John and the crew of American Crawlspace Solutions. He arrived on time for the initial consultation and estimate. He explained, in detail, the work that needed to be done and offered economically viable solutions. He answered all of my questions and we scheduled the labor early the following week. They performed the work over the course of a day and a half. I was not able to stay at the house the entire time the service was rendered. They were punctual, professional, trustworthy and clean. He updated me on the work that had been performed and even went above par when I asked him to make a small repair to my HVAC duct insulation (thanks John). He even advised me on another issue I have with my HVAC system. After the work was complete, he again answered all my questions. I am happy to recommend American Crawlspace Solutions. I can already feel the difference a healthy crawlspace can make!

American Crawlspace Solutions were excellent. They came in and over the course of two days they did the job start to finish. They encapsulated my basement, put in a sump pump and did all the labor. Since then I had a water drainage problem and that has been eliminated. They did an excellent job.

We had 4 companies out for estimates, 2 were very high and 2 were similar costs. Of the two only this firm actually listened to our concerns and addressed each issue. We had a piece of equipment left behind by the previous owner that had to be removed, and a hole in the adjoining wall that needed patched on top of the water proofing. They arrived on time and were very efficient. It took about one full day. Afterwards, they showed us what was done and what to watch for. After almost a year we are very satisfied with the work done.

I would hire this company in the future.

I needed to have someone take a look at my walk-in crawlspace to see if there were ways to reduce the odor and humidity. I wanted to utilize the space for more storage and reduce odors coming into our kitchen. I called John and he came out the same day to give me an opinion and an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell me. I ended up having my crawlspace completely encapsulated (about a 210 sq. ft. area). One reason I used them vs. someone else is that the way they encapsulate didn't violate my termite bond. They used clear poly over the walls, left the cap exposed for my termite company, and used a white 10 mill poly on the ground and around support columns. I have noticed the musty smell significantly reduced and my humidity level dropped from about 65% with a dehumidifier running nonstop to about a 45% humidity level without my dehumidifier running constantly anymore. I would highly recommend these guys!

Everything was perfect. I had one installed by someone else, but it was just placed over some rubble that was down there. American Crawlspace shoveled almost a truckload of debris and laid the barrier down flat.
