Description of Work: The technician told us that there was a major problem with one of the AC unit and would cost about $400 to fix .If not fixed the whole system is likely to break down in a few months .He did not leave anything in writing on what was wrong .I called him back to ask about that and left a VM but he never returned my call. | |I verified that with my home warranty company and they said that's not true.At most they may need to change a minor component which cost around $30.The AC unit is old and it may break down but all other components are for $1000 + so not sure what the comfort control technician was talking about . | |I feel like they run these deal to cast a wide net and see how many people they are able to scare and get money out of them .I am not going to transact with them again. | |

Description of Work: Highly recommended. They contact me super fast after buying a deal for A/C maintenance and scheduled the same day I asked. Tom, he technician, called before meeting to set up the visit. He showed on time. We got 2 A/C units so they honored the same deal with the second unit at the same price. Tom took his time to explain all details on what was done. Definitely this is an A+ rated company: Honest and Professional. Thanks again guys!

Description of Work: Company did not advise me that they do not usually service condos although there was a unit/apt number on order. Nor did they tell me that they could not service air conditioners not on the ground prior to coming out. When they ascertained this I was told they could not perform tuneup.

Description of Work: They did a complete check of the air-conditioning system. He made some recommendations and we discussed future plans. I decided to just recharge the freon for now. The whole thing went well, as he did not pressure me into making expensive repairs immediately, and had good suggestions for the future.

Then Vu (the technician) gets an extra 10% added to his already perfect score. He was the most thorough, courteous, professional, knowledgeable HVAC technician I have ever experienced. Having owned 8 homes over a 33 year period means I have seen a lot of technicians. Because of all of the office staff and Vu, Comfort Control will continue to be my HVAC company!

Description of Work: The cost of $372 included also the purchase and installation of Surge Protector and a Pan Switch. The technician explained the advantages of such devices and I went ahead and had him install them.
