Comfort Control Heating & Air Conditioning

The technician was very friendly, professional, and willing to answer all my questions about the A/C units.

They were fact, efficient and very knowledgeable unlike some hvac contractors we have dealt with. They had the parts we needed and showed us exactly what the cost was. They gave us the choice of whether to replace all the components and said some may last for the whole summer but there was a possibility they could go out. Very honest!

Filter was additional cost since the service only included a standard 1" filter and I needed the larger, thicker filter, but that was overpriced (hence the B rating on price). Also checked out compressor and found an arcing relay but wasn't in need to change out immediately so decided to hold on that.

Was very pleased with the overall experience. I was expecting to replace the A/C unit on a recent home purchase and had been putting it off. When I finally got around to it...and called Comfort Control they arrived promptly and were very professional. I decided to go with them and I have no regrets. The service was exceptional....would highly recommend the company.

Went well, did an excellent job and everything was inclusive for the price. No problems! Would recommend this contractor to anyone requiring this service.

It took them over a week and a half to schedule my appointment. The day that they were supposed to show up the technician called and stated that he was on his way. Then the office called and said that the vehicle broke down and would have to reschedule. When he came for the next appointment he didn’t do any work. I asked him to put on a new thermostat which I had already bought. He said that he would have to call the office to get permission and they said no because they couldn’t be responsible for a thermostat that was not purchased through them. He was not able to get service done because he could not turn on the system. I asked for my money back and they said they couldn’t give it back because normally it would have cost $89. I had another company come and install the thermostat that I bought. That company got my air conditioner running.

Ta Kim came out promptly; he is well trained and explained what needed to done very clearly. The lady who answers the phone was also very kind. They both did an excellent job representing Comfort Control Heating and Air!

It went okay and I've actually used them twice.

Two guys arrived on time and one went to the outside units, the other attended to the inside units. They serviced the units and advised me in detail and showed me potential future issues and costs to repair.

I called for an appointment once I purchased the deal. I missed the fine print that mentioned that they didn’t service my area. They were very polite and professional on the phone call.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. They were very nice. I paid an additional amount for a part that was needed. They were pretty good. He was interested in me knowing what was going on and answering questions that I had. He was talking me through what he was doing which I appreciated. I checked the price later and it seemed to be in line with what I would have paid so I guess the price was average. They came when they said they were going to which was nice.

Had previously replaced a/c unit from different provider and it never worked correctly. Comfort control came out on time, were very professional and gave me a reasonable price to replace my entire system, since my furnace was very old as well. They returned on time, had the whole thing done quickly and it has worked like a charm.

Called for assessment of non-functioning air conditioning unit. Technician arrived with an hour to perform assessment and was professional and courteous. When assessment was done I was advised of troubleshooting fee. This fee was never mention on the scheduling call. When I spoke with Lisa to try and resolve, she advised she gets many calls and may have forgot but the I would still have to pay the fee. I will not be using this company for any HVAC work in the future.

I didnt go in the attic with him so can only assume he checked everything as he was supposed to. I wasn't happy with the 'over-sell' approach. I wouldn't use this company again.

The gentleman was very polite and explained everything. Except we felt the repairs he suggested were not reasonable considering how old the system is. To spend over a thousand on repairs when the system did in fact work just not at 100% power. We had another company (one we trusted) look at our system in the fall and they never suggested any of the repairs. I felt as if they were trying to upsell their services.

.I needed refrigerant and they put it in. They also advised me what I needed to do to maintain my air conditioners to keep them in good shape. The two men that were here were wonderful, polite and informed concerning my units. They were great I will use their services next year.

It was excellent. I was very pleased with them.

Everything went well, and I had no problems with the service.

I was not at home at the time - guys showed up and did the checks. Systems were OK, everything was working. Did not have the proper furnace filters on the truck (replacement was supposed to be part of the service) Never did get those replaced. 2 days later a sales guy called and told me my system was old (which I knew) and was going to fail someday (knew that too) and proceeded to tell me we could get a replacement quote. etc, etc, etc. I felt like the entire purpose of the big deal was to get into my house and set up a sales call. All I wanted was system checks.

I ended up using Comfort Control Inc. With them, yes I did spend more than the big deal purchase.

I was very pleased with them and they did a good job on my A/C.

Provider came to my house very professional and courteous Open my unit spent five minutes on it told me would cost 700 to repair or 4500 for a new unit. Told me they could have the new parts in a day or two. Put two screws in the cover and let the unit not put back together properly. Provider went right for expensive option. To replace the blower motor the replacement of the capacitor could have possibly solve the issue. Update : I fix with a new capacitor for less then $30.00. Beware Comfort Control has a cold calling program do not give them you phone number.

We called on Monday & were given a 2 hour window that same day. He called 1/2 hour before arriving so I could leave work & meet him at the house. He checked the unit & found the Freon had leaked out, but could not find the leak. Recharged unit for us but did not know how long it would last. We decided to try recharging the unit because his price was lower than other quotes. We had had the unit checked by another company who also could not find the leak. He did offer to drain the unit completely & pressurize with a gas to find the leak but we decided against that route because of the cost. But at least he offered several solutions.

They did a good job and found some problems and recommended replacing both units, I have not had them replaced them yet.
