Comfort Control Heating & Air Conditioning

Vu Tran called ahead, then showed up promptly. We have a "one of a kind" custom designed 7 zone system with 2 heat pumps that has not been working properly. Since it was a specialized system our "old" HVAC person did not want to work on it. We were amazed that Vu was not stymied by our system, and knew immediately what to do to repair/optimize the system. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and very nice! Even better, our heat pumps are now heating the house. I will certainly recommend Comfort Control, and especially Vu Tran, to all my neighbors as well as using the company in the future.

We were satisfied with the service we got from Comfort Control Inc. It was a good job.

It was pretty good and very thorough. For the price, I found somebody else who can do the same job at $49 so it’s a “B”. The quality was good. Professionalism was good. Yes for the second time but I still want that does a little price before I called them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. I used them another time since the Big Deal service and even though my furnace was only about a year old they claimed it needed additional work so I decided not to use them anymore. I was satisfied when they came out for the Big Deal service, even though I had to replace some parts. The guy who came out was professional.

The service turned out well. I called them a few months after purchasing the deal and they were still able to service it. There were some issues on my unit and they gave me some options with what I could do. What they diagnosed turned out to be right.

They came without the filters; I had filters they could use and they gave me advice on how to improve energy efficiency to save on my bills. They also couldn't get into the attic - they didn't have a ladder. They arrived on time however.

I was given three dates to choose from by Comfort Control Inc. for the " Early bird special 39.00 for furnace tune up and free filter when I applied online. I got an email from the company about not having a contact number for me. I called the company and confirm the dates. I knew the weather was going to change to colder weather on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 so, I ask if someone could come out on January 8, 2014. I explain it was going to be a different address but within the same zip code. After, I gave the address, I was told they do not service the area. I express, I am a Angie's List member. They change their mind and set the appointment for January 8, 2014 for the morning. Before the appointment I receive a voice mall message stating my appointment has been cancelled. In response to the company explanation, I was not given another day for a technician to come out to my home. The house I requested for the technician to come to did not have any heat either. I was not given a opportunity to inform you of that either.

I purchased the furnace tune up from Comfort Control. All around an A-level of service. TA Kim came to my house, and he checked and subsequently repaired my furnace. He advised me to consider replacing a couple parts in my furnace, since I had not had the furnace checked over since I moved in a few years ago. He replaced the parts, and everything is working great now. He was extremely nice and very informative. I now know more about how the furnace operates and how I can possibly fix it if it stops working again. I would absolutely recommend the company, and especially TA. He was great!

Our heater went out one night at 10:30pm. Unfortunately, we called the company that had installed the unit and serviced it last. We were promised a call back within one hour and when we hadn't heard back by the next morning, decided to start looking around for someone else. I reached Comfort Control at 10:59am and by 1:30pm had a technician in my attic diagnosing the problem. TA Kim did an excellent job! He was very thorough, explaining as he went what he was finding and his recommendations. As we have an older system, he didn't try to run up the bill and sell us on parts we didn't need to upgrade (which was my fear) and got us up and running within an hour. He was very trustworthy and honest and even looked at our downstairs system as well. I have already recommended Comfort Control to several of my friends and have plans to call them back! It is so nice to find a company that you can trust to fix the problem efficiently and that remembers what customer service means!

Excellent customer service. Technician explained how the unit worked and demonstrated various features. Wound up buying a service contract with them.

Everyone with Comfort Control was delightful. I was surprised they would be able to come out so quickly because it's a short holiday week (New Year's) but they scheduled right away. Ta (the technician) called 30 minutes before appointment to verifiy he would be there on time. Ta handled everything very efficiently. I pointed out a water leak from condensate that I had noticed. Ta remedied that leak and found 3 more from clamps that a previous heating tech had not tightened enough. Ta inspected everything, changed the filter and was done within 30 minutes. Very nice company. I will use them again.

Mr. Vu did a thorough system check of my furnace. He explained what I needed to replace and made suggestions as he inspected my system. He did such a great job, that I will request his services in the spring for my air conditioning.

They quickly responded to the request for an estimate and were informative as opposed to using pressure. All options were explained and all were very well explained. All costs were up-front and were very fair <less than expected>. Installers came out on-time <15 minutes early> and went straight to work on the job. Very nice men and answered any "dumb" questions we had. Work was done within the estimated time and everything was cleaned and all trash and old parts were removed. The rep followed up the next day to be sure everything was done as we had requested. They will be our "only" contact for heating and air problems, improvements and additions!

Very disappointed in the amount of money it cost for the service provided. The company sent out an independent contractor to do the work, and a capacitor was replaced. The amount charged for the part was unreasonable. I read on a website afterwards that typically a capacitor is the most common part for a heat pump that doesn't cool, and also is the most overpriced, as you can go to a home repair store and get the part for way less than what a service company will charge. Had I read that first, I would have been a little more diligent in talking to the technician.

He was a nice guy. I'm happy with the service.

Thank goodness I didn't actually buy the deal before I was able to contact the company. I called 4 times and got nothing but an automated answering machine. I tried several times each call to be connected to the operator or to someone to schedule an appointment. Each time, after waiting less than 30 seconds, the phone system took me to the top of the automated system. Eventually, and without any warning, there's a beep to leave a message. Highly unprofessional.

They did a great job, were very prompt and professional.

They came when they were supposed to come and did what they were supposed to do. They checked my furnace and also did a quick fix on it for me so it would work. Then they talked to me about what the problems where with it and explained to me what would eventually be have to be done. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Comfort Control arrived on time , thoroughly serviced each unit and explained that one of the units might need some parts replaced in the not too distant future . He took the time to explain everything very well . Good job , and I would use them again .

The service was fine but I was expecting a little more. The technician came and worked for about twenty minutes and installed a new filter. He just inspected the unit and explained everything that needed addressed. I thought the deal was misleading because there is a big difference between inspection and tune up. I could have done the work myself and purchased a packet of filters for half the cost. The technician did exactly what they told him to do and he was very information. I would probably not use them again to order a filter.

The technician, Ta, was EXCELLENT! He took extra time with me as I tried to figure out how to use my thermostat, he demonstrated for me how our capacitors were beginning to see their last days, and took time to show me how to change the filters on our units. At every step of the process he clearly did not rush me or rush through the process. I didn't get the feeling whatsoever that he was rushing on to his next job. I think he would have stayed longer if I needed more help figuring out our system.

They arrived when promised and explained everything in detail. The technician spent a lot of time getting our OLD furnace running temporarily. That afternoon a manager came out to price a new system to replace our 34 year old furnace and 19 year old A/C. Once again, everything was explained completely. The new system was installed the next day with professionalism, and the men cleaned up after themselves wonderfully. We will only use them from now on.

Both the technican and scheduling Rep were courteous and helpful. My appointment was schedule within a week of me contacting the company. I also recieved a call to reminder me of my schedule appoint day and time. The tech arrive on time and great and I had no issues with quality of his work. He inspected each systems and before to next give me an overview my system performace and condition. At the final review he advise me of what needed to done take of them for next season. Because the tech was well verse in his skill, and I like the no hassle.

That service turned out fine for me. They went above and beyond. They gave me some some advice independent of the thing I purchased which was the furnace inspection. They did a great job. They were on time. They were clean. There was no extra cost. They did everything right.

The service was fine. They told us that one unit did not work and we wound up getting subsequent bids and what they said was correct. It was an outdated unit that did not work and the cost of repairing it would have been much compared to just buying a new unit. They did the service within two weeks after I purchased the big deal. They did more work because there were some things that were burned out in the third unit. We paid them more than $200. It was somewhere around $250 to $300. The experience was okay overall. I do not have anything to compare their work to. I do not know anything about air conditioning units so I do not know if the things that were replaced were legitimate but I would assume that they were because they said that it looked like there was no maintenance done to the units prior to what they were doing. I have never had to do any air conditioning unit stuff before. The quality of their work was okay but nothing was outstanding about it. We would use them again for maintenance if we need to but we are not using them to get our new unit put in because their price was just too high for that.
