The friendliness and promptness of this company is fantastic. They make sure to get the job done at a comparable rate to other companies. They are just more detailed in my eyes then other companies and they do a superb job.

Zurn was an honest company. They arrived when they said they would. I thought they were rather informative and patient. They were very cordial and patient with me when trying to explain things to me. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others.

Zurn did quality work for us and rectified our leak problem in a timely fashion. I cannot remember exactly what I was charged for this particular job. It was probably as reasonable as you are going to get for a plumber. They are all expensive if you ask me. I felt satisfied with the work Zurn did, however, and would be happy to report to others they do quality work.

The most impressive thing was the quick response! A technician was out to my house within hours, at exactly the time estimated, and made quick work of assessing the situation. Timing was key, since my problem was discovered in the midst of installing irrigation. Zurn had the work done the next morning, which also involved working with the utility company to locate other lines. They also communicated with the irrigation company so that everyone was on the same page. And they dug the pipe trench by hand since there was fresh landscaping. I did not compare prices, since time and quality were most important, and the Angie's List reports suggested that I start with Zurn. I was not disappointed.

This job took them about 1 day and there were 2 workers doing the project. We have had no problems with the water line since they did the work. They did clean up the yard very well and tried to keep the digging to a minimum for me. The workers were very nice, courteous, and professional. I did call around for pricing and this company was about average.

Zurn was good to me. They even did a little toilet work for me in my bathroom free of charge. I liked them a lot and they were great to work with on this major job.

This was an ordeal. They did do a good job though. We were in a bind, so we had to use whatever company would come out as soon as possible because we had a party that evening. They did give us same day service and showed up on time. It was very expensive, but we did not have time to compare prices. I think maybe we were taken advantage of a little, so that is why I am grading the price a C. The service was excellent though. I would just recommend getting quotes from other companies first before you use them.

FANTASTIC! I had called another plumber who kept saying he would get to me soon but never did. I call Zurn on Monday morning and they said they would have someone out on Tuesday morning. He said he would call before 8:30 to let me know who was coming, but that the person would come by 9. They called at 8:20 Tuesday morning to tell me Brent would be out in 30 minutes. Brent came out, looked at the work and told me how much it would be. They have a standard pricing book so you know exactly what you're going to get charged and what they're going to do. He did the work and charged me exactly what he said he would. He was very professional! I would call them again for sure! I give them a B on price because they were $125 more than the other plumber who didn't show, but it was worth it because they showed up when they said they would. I will pay the extra to not have to wait at home for half a day for a no-show.

I called Monday. They told me they could come on Wednesday to install my grill between 1 and 5pm and that they would call me - which they did when they were 20 minutes from my house. I met the technician, Paul. He was polite and nice to my dogs. He had to go to the hardware store for a part. He helped me take my old grill to the street.

I called Zurn in the morning and was able to schedule an appointment for later that day. My appointment window was from 3-5 pm and Paul arrived promptly at 3:00. He quickly determined the problem and gave us an estimate to replace the faulty valve. If we knew more about plumbing, this is probably something we could have fixed ourselves for much cheaper. The plumber was only in our house for about 15 minutes.

They were prompt, got there when they said they would, and did a very professional job. Normally, this is a job I can easily handle. Unfortunately, the break involved re plumbing the section where the PVC and the rigid copper joined. This also involved replacing the rigid copper with soft copper. Thus, I preferred using a pro. My one complaint is that I did the locating and excavating and still paid the full standard price for an excavation and repair job.

They successfully resolved the problems. Several other plumbers had not been successful, so we were very pleased.

Zurn answered the phone immediately. I asked about the urgency of the job, and agreed that my need was urgent. They dispatched a plumber to my house within two hours. The plumber was courteous and knowledgable, and persisted with the work until the problem was fixed.

I'd just like to take a hot bath and I did think I was going to be able to purchase a 75 gallon tank and when he came out here the second time he said it wouldn't fit. But he measured for it the first time.

Recommended an idea that saved time, money and will work better long-term. On-time, fast and so far everything has been great. He even cut his price by 10% to nearly match another quote. Great experience from start to finish!

Zurn did great. As the size of the repair crew, I was kept notified of the progress and ongoing costs. When the job ended up being a major, all-day event, Matthew Zurn came to our office to make sure everything was done correctly and to make sure I was happy.

They were on time for all appointments, completed job on time with skill and knowledge.

I called this morning for an appointment; they came in the early afternoon. They completed the work quickly and told me up-front what needed to be done and how much it would cost.

I called and left a message on the phone after business hours and they returned my call the following morning. He explained to me that they did not have an appointment until the following day. He gave me a three hour window for an appointment and called before coming out. Two men arrived and one man explained to me an additional service that they offered. It was a type of warranty that you could purchase separately from the price of the job for possible future jobs at a lower cost. It was not a high pressured sales pitch, but I thought I would mention it. It could come in handy for someone with a lot of upcoming plumbing jobs. They have a trip fee for coming out and it is not applied to the job. They do explain this on the phone before coming out to your house, so it is not a surprise. A little pricey for 15 minutes due to the $59 trip fee, but they did a good job. I would call them again for a moderate to large plumbing job but probably not for a minor repair due to the trip fee.

I opened up the wall for the work to be done. The technician informed me that it would be a difficult repair and gave me a $426 estimate. The work was performed in approximately 30 minutes, it was a matter of removing two clamps and replacing the cast iron with PVC. The technician was gone within an hour of arriving. I called the company but they are not interested in giving any reduction in the price for the job. I advise anyone considering this company to be careful of the job estimate; it's best to ask how much time the job will take. I feel that Zurn overcharged me for the work done, and misled me about the difficulty of the job.

They were able to send someone out the same day, which was important. We had already replaced the valve, but the replacement was the wrong kind. Shawn told us, which kind we need to use to solve the problem.

They had a very timely arrival, less than 48 hrs from when I called. Workers were courteous and completed work in about 10 hrs. The only complaint is that my yard was left fairly messy (big pile of sod and dirt and some debris from the job).

The technician first explained the trip and diagnosis charges. Evaluated the plumbing in the bathroom, nothing found. The tech covered work area in plastic. Cut the drywall ceiling and with time he found the leak. He believed the cause was the shower drain. Provided a price for demolition of the tile shower stall and prep for the tile installation. The tech cleaned up. Currently I am trying to seal surface around the drain before committing to a $2500-$3000 bathroom project.

I contacted Zurn via email based on an Angie's List recommendation and my own positive past experience. A plumber came out and gave me an estimate and a few days later two different plumbers came out and replaced a leaking shower drain. Different than most contractors I have used they cleaned up nicely after completing a very messy job.
