They were very efficient and knowledgeable. I've had a lot of different plumbers come here from the company and every one of them has been exceptional. I'm very pleased and they know exactly what they are doing.

They are okay. However, they are expensive; they tend to be a little expensive. The job they did was okay; it wasn?t superlative. The only thing we were unhappy was that they didn?t do a good job of replanting the grass. The grass had got torn up while trenching. Also, while trenching, they dug up a lot of rocks and they were left in the yard. We had to go out and pick them up. We would have appreciated a little more professionalism and quality to the work. They did a good job with the sewer line and water line. We will probably call them if we had a plumbing problem today because they also came out twice before the last time, for routine jobs. It is maybe because we don?t have names of a better plumbing company.

The job started out fine. We called them and they were very responsive. But then it went down hill from there. When the plumber tried to snake the pipes, the snake slipped on him and ended up shattering our toilet. As he was getting up off of the floor, he used our toilet paper holder, which was permanently attached to the tile, to get up. The toilet paper holder broke and broke the tile on the wall with it. Then he had to go to the basement and take apart pipes to be able to snake the pipes from there. We had just moved in (a day before) so we had moving boxes everywhere. We asked him to tell us where to move them to so that they wouldn't get wet from him taking the plumbing apart. He showed us and we moved them. Unfortunately, the boxes still got soaked with raw sewage. Needless to say, a lot of the items in the boxes were ruined. To top everything else off, he left the mess of raw sewage in the basement and also tried to get us to pay for the toilet. When I called Zurn to complain on Monday, I was told that I should be happy that there are people that are willing to come and deal with toilet problems. The owner did eventually come out and try to make everything right. He had a tile guy come to fix the tile. The problem with this is that the tile was old enough that they were unable to get a match for it. So I still have the broken tile in my bathroom. I would not use them again.

I had used them a long time ago. They came out quickly. They tried to fix the external drain but they could not do it. They were more expensive than the company I went with. They did what they were supposed to do but they were not able to fix it. I ended up paying them to try to fix it. They were going to come back and fix it. They were honest with me about what the risks were. They did a good job. I paid them $600 to fix an up plumbing job, fix the toilet and attempt to flush out an external drain.

I use them because they are incredibly professional and punctual. However, I think that like all plumbing companies, their prices are average. Overall, I?ve had a great experience with them.

They came out after we had a very, very high water bill to make sure that there were no internal leaks inside the house. They turned off the water inside the house and the meter was still running. They had to get to the bottom of the problem. They came back the following day and did a little bit of digging in our front yard. Basically, they were able to tell that the problem was coming from outside. It was not a standard plumbing job. They had to have a team come and dig. It was a special situation. They were great. They were very responsive.

They were good and I would use them again in the future.

We had them come out to repair a broken water heater. They came the same day I called (Saturday) and didn't charge extra for the weekend visit. They were very professional and explained everything they were doing (like adding an overflow attachment that was required by code). After they finished, they also took the time to see if they could identify why we had a water mark in our ceiling in the garage. They pulled back insulation in the attic around the piping and then finally realized it was a caulking issue on the upstairs tub. They caulked around the tub faucet. All of this was done after the installation of the water heater even though I offered to have them come back if work needed to be done. They also did not charge anything extra even thouigh it took them about 1/;2 hr from start to finish to fix the additional issue. They were very nice, very professional, extremely prompt and I would (and have) used them again.

Just great. Got an appt the next day from initial call. Plumber came out in 1 hr after arrival estimate, but not a big deal. Assessed the problem, reviewed with me the proposed plan and cost, and completed the work right then, within 1 hr.

I would not call this company again. Update: The two plumbers that did the job were very good and knowledgeable. They were very neat, clean, and did the work with minimum interruption. I was pleased with the work and would call them again. They did read my initial submittal and called to ask if I was still not pleased. Since I was pleased, I wanted to submit an amended report.

They did a great job, starting from the estimate--they didn't try to pressure me as their competitor did. They honestly gave me their advice, they then matched the competitor's price, came the day they promised and sent two guys (Victor and Marcin) who were knowledgeable, hard workers and great to deal with. When they ran into an odd problem with the way the line had originally been installed, they called for advice, and Ted Zurn himself came right out and helped determine a good way to approach this issue. They then put my yard back in good shape before they left. I would highly, highly recommend this company again. I even got a handwritten thank you note and a day or so later, a survey...What great customer service!!!!! A+++++++

Everything was good. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They do good work. I don't know how they compare to other plumbers. They were reliable, here on time, cleaned up after themselves and left.

Nothing to say but outstanding. I had called another plumber who said he would come out the same day and then never returned my calls. Zurn was outstanding

Everyone I have worked with has been very professional, both the gentleman I spoke with on the phone and the gentleman who came out to give me the estimate. They appeared to be knowledgeable and well trained. So far my experience has been all A's.

Great. From estimate to delivery to being careful to do minimal damage to our yard Zurn is professional, timely, clean and confidence inspiring. They are also good about answering questions. We got estimates from three other plumbers and they were by far the best given the level of professionalism.

We had a leak that appeared to be coming from behind the water heater in our garage. We had used Zurn to replace our water line in our front yard in 2007 and had excellent service from them. Scheduling/responsiveness on this occasion could have been better, but Sean came out as previously scheduled and determined that the water heater was leaking. He replaced our 16 year old gas water heater with a new gas model and finished the job quickly.

They were very nice. I chose them because they were local. They were family owned. They were very prompt and worked with my schedule. They looked to see if they could get sooner to my house. They were here earlier than the anticipated time, but they called to check if it was fine with me. The guy who came was very knowledgeable and efficient.

They were very responsive and professional. I would recommend them to others.

Service was prompt, professional, and honest. Toilet in our new (older) home had begun leaking a few weeks after we moved in. Technician determined that the toilet had not been properly sealed after the installation of a new tile floor - a seal that was too short had been used. He advised that the proper way to fix the situation would be a major undertaking--cutting pipe, etc. but he was able to get toilet to seal properly, without the major expense. It has been approximately one year since the repair and it is still working perfectly.

We bought a foreclosure that need a LOT of work. One project was to replace all the plumbing under the kitchen sink, as well as install a garbage disposal and hook up a dishwasher. Zurn came right out the day after I called and were very professional. They discussed the job and gave me an estimate. Because all of my supplies (sink and dishwasher) had not arrived yet, they came back the next week to complete the work. It was quality work and they completed it in just a few hours. It was a little more than I expected to spend, but was my first time using a plumber so I really don't have any other experience to compare it to. I trust their work and will use them again.

The company arrived on time. The plumber discussed the changes needed to bring the plumbing system up to code, which I agreed to, and he installed a water heater. All trash was removed when the plumber left. After the plumber left, I noticed that several pipes and the vent were installed at odd angles. I asked Zurn to correct these, and they returned that afternoon to rework the installation. Zurn charged $59 to show up to do the work, $112 for a difficult install (remove one pipe) and $150 to remove the old wooden stand (10 minutes with a crowbar). The water heater brand is one I have not heard of, with a short (6 year) warranty period and no EnergyStar certification. I believe this is a premium price for average work.

Nice guys. They were very professional, prompt and quick. They did what they said they were going to do. I would definitely use them again in the future.

This is a company that charges $99 just to provide an estimate (in retrospect this should have been a warning sign), but it had good ratings so I gave them a try. I needed changes to the gas lines in two fireplaces to convert from a gas starter to gas logs. I described the work very clearly to them on the phone before they came, because I didn't want to pay $99 for someone to say "we don't do this." I was assured that they do these specific tasks all the time. The tech arrived on time, but it was very clear from the beginning that he didn't want to do this job. He poked around for a few minutes and said he didn't know if he could do it or not, but for an ADDITIONAL $795 we would give me an estimate (still with no assurance that after paying $894 any work would actually be completed). The highest quote I had gotten prior was $450 for the completed job. After some wrangling they did honor the Angie's List coupon, so in the end I only paid $79 for them to say "we don't want to do this." The lesson I learned: BEWARE of companies like this that charge just to provide a quote, even if no work is done. That's just a bad incentive structure.

The experience was wonderful. The president Matt was wonderful as well. He came out and did the bid and came out during the work to make sure everything was ok. He was very willing to customize things the way I wanted. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.
