Overall experience went well. Honest, high quality work that looks good, and more importantly will last for years. I would recommend Zurn without hesitation. The only thing I would note, is that there are multiple plumbing technicians, and some have much more experience than others. We had to spread the plumbing work out over an extended period of time due to remodeling issues unrelated to plumbing and had 2 different plumbing technicians come out at different times. I found the older, more experienced technician was more efficient and gave me more options of potential solutions. (No surprise, but just something to be aware of.) Zurn also seems more expensive than I would expect on smaller jobs, but they are defiitely competitive on bids for larger jobs.

They did a good job, as the guy showed up on time, did the work, and cleaned up after himself.

They are on the more expensive side of the spectrum, but their work is superlative in quality, very professional and, obviopusly, extremely competent. I would use them again for almost any plumbing services.

Quickly diagnosed problem, gave me the price up front and went to work. My service guy was very polite and helpful in explaining what he was doing and why. I wish I woudl have went here first. Would definitely use them again.

The kitchen sink drain got clogged and in the process of pulling off the J-trap I noticed the lead-pipe behind it had rotted through. When I called Zurn they were willing to come out the same day I called. Alex looked at the pipe and went under the house with me. He quickly figured out that even though he could replace a small part of the kitchen drain the main line it fed into was rusted through and would likely need replacement soon. He also caught that another part of the house draining into that line was poorly done and not up to code. Like other reports here they did a quick check of the water heater to make sure it was functioning, which I really appreciated. I felt that it was out of their concern that this was still in good shape because a failed tank can be a disaster. That same day they ended up being able to replace the line draining the sink as well as the other nearby section that wasn't up to code and poorly done. Alex showed me the line afterward and it was nearly rusted through and fully clogged, he was spot-on for calling this from just looking at the exterior of the line. They were very clean and professional throughout the service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and others who needed a plumber.

The plumber was very professional and did a thorough job, explaining every step of the process and pointing out any potential problems before starting the work. He cleaned up after himself and took away the old toilets. As usual it feels strange to pay my plumber a higher hourly wage than I pay my doctor, but that anomaly aside, I felt that I got what I paid for.

Overall, the service has been excellent and they are very pleasant to deal with.

They were prompt and came on out. The tech said that sometimes a piece of rust will come out the bottom, hit the flame just so and knock the light out. He took the time and showed me how to relight it on my own, drain the tank to get the sediment out. I appreciate the fact that he took the time. While that was several years ago, I called them in May 2010 because my toilet was leaking. It was from the water line from the wall to the tank. The guy who answered the phone told me that it would cost me $80 for them to come and look at it. So he gave me some advice on how to fix it on my own, if that didn't work, he told me to call back. I got the part from Home Depot and was able to fix it myself for only $20 in parts from Home Depot. Now, he could've easily said nothing so they could make money, but he was honest and helpful. They won points with me that day that if I ever had a plumbing issue, these are the guys I'm going to call.

After fighting a stopped up toilet for 2 days I joined the list and called the first name on the list. I called and the man set up a time frame, then he called 45 mins. before the tech was to show. The tech came with in the time frame, gave me an estament. He was very polite and professional and completed the job in less then 45 mins. The bill was as he had estmated. I well call them again, although I hope I will not have to do so.

They showed up ready to work. They were professional. They got the job done quickly and correctly. I did get nailed with one unexpected charge which is why I rate the cost 'B'. Overall, I think I got a fair price for the job.

They came when they said they would. The price was exactly what I was told it would be. They cleaned up their mess. They helped me with my Energy Star rebates.

Zurn did an excellent job and were very professional. A little expensive but it was done exactly how I wanted and will last for the life of the home. If you want your job done right call these guys.

The plumbers were excellent. This was an all-day job and required removing tiles, cutting through the subfloor, drilling through a couple of concrete blocks, and running the pipe, then replacing everything and cleaning up. They kept at it--taking only a few minutes for lunch (which astounded me, given the heat and intensity of the work), and now I have a wonderful new laundry area.

Prompt, clean, courteous, professional - - but 'way too costly. I will shop & compare in the future.

I had gotten 2 bids from other plumbers. One was very high. One was very low. I joined Angie's List and discovered poor reviews on the low-bidding company. I found Zurn based on proximity to my home and quality of their reviews. I contacted them for an estimate and Ted Zurn drove to my house that day to give me one. (The majority of the work was outside, so I did not need to be home.) He left behind a nice presentation folder with the estimate inside. A few days later, he followed up with me to see if I had any questions. I told him I was considering getting a new kitchen faucet to be installed the same time the water main was replaced. He told be it would be about $120 to install that and to call him back when I'd chosen one. A few days later, I let him know that I was ready when they were and they got me on the schedule for the next day. The 2 plumbers showed up on time and were neatly dressed. They went over the work that was scheduled and I showed them the leak under the sink that needed to be repaired. I told him that I had had 2 other estimates that were in the $200 ballpark, so I expected his price to be in that range. They said they would do the exterior work first and do the inside work later in the day. I left them for the morning and returned at lunchtime. They said they would replace all the piping under the sink with copper and install new valves for just $95. All the work was completed by 4pm, there were no additional costs above the estimates I received. I did not have them preserve my grass (we need to re-sod anyway), so they knocked off $300 from the original estimate, bringing it right in line (within $100) of the lower bid I mentioned previously. The guys were very polite and explained everything in detail. And a few days later, I received a hand-written thank you note from Ted Zurn. I will say that the technician did give me a quote on a new water heater, which I didn't ask for, but I do appreciate him taking the time to check out my other appliances. However, it did feel like he was trying to sell me more on a day when I was already shelling out $2400. Not exactly the best time. But, I have confidence in them and will likely call Zurn again when it's time to do that.

Final result is excellent. Great personal service from the owner.

Company owner came by to assess our needs and gave us an estimate. Two service men came out and installed the water heaters and cleaned up after themselves. The next day the company owner called to see if all went well.

We were referred to Zurn by another top rated company who was too busy to see us within the next 3 weeks. Zurn promptly responded and showed up for the estimate as scheduled. The estimate for installing a plastic utility sink in our basement was $600 plus materials (+$150?). I quickly decided we did not the sink after all. The toilet was fixed, after a few confusing phone calls, i.e. calling me at work rather than my wife, but finally the toilet was fixed to our satisfaction. We haven't had much plumbing done of late, and it is traditionally an expensive experience, but even in these hard times, the prices haven't changed.

They were courteous and did a good job. They were clean and on time. They had also cleaned up after themselves. They were careful when inside the house to make sure that the work did not damage the furniture. My experience with them was very good.

They were professional. They came out and got the job done quickly. They had one small problem that they created during the job, but they called me up and told me about it and fixed it before I even knew what the problem was.

He was honest and gave us very good information.

The general manager visited my home on a weekend, took his time to review the work needs, answered questions thoroughly, and prepared a detailed estimate that day. When I e-mailed him more questions, he took the time to call me even though he was out of time on vacation. The work was done quickly and professionally. When I noticed a leak in an area where the piping had been replaced, they quickly addressed the problem. Very courteous, thorough and professional. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They were very expensive so I used another company. I would never use them again.

They are fantastic. Every time I've had to call them, they have been very prompt. There have been times when they have had to come in the evenings, and at the most, I've waited maybe an hour. I've been very pleased.
