I liked that they were on time and explained what they were doing as they were doing it. Further, the amount I was charged was the amount they quoted to me when I made the appointment. No surprises! l guess I spoke too soon. The repair they did didn't work. So I called them about a week later and spoke to Adam. That was on 02/17/18. I told him the same problem was occurring, which was the fireplace would run for a while and then turn off. It would then be hard to restart without waiting awhile. I mentioned that the person who came out to do the repair said this might happen. So I really wasn't expecting much other than to let them know it didn't work. But Adam said he would have the repair person give me a call to see if anything else could be done. It's been three weeks now and I still haven't received a call. So I'm lowering my rating because of their failure to follow up and honor their commitment. Update: Received a call from Ben, who was the original technician. He came out the next day and tried something different. It's possible he may have to order a part if what he did today doesn't work. He didn't charge me for today's visit and said if he has to order the part the original service charge of $125.00 would be deducted from the costs of the part $450.00. Sounds fair to me. They are standing by their work which is all I can ask or expect.

Ben and Mike kept us advised about arrival time and began work on our chimney immediately. They advised us about the safety of our existing logs and showed us that several were broken. We scheduled installation of a new set of logs to be done in two weeks. Highly recommend this company.

The contractor was very polite. I live out of state but had my son let him into the home. He sent me before and after pictures. He was punctual and did a terrific job. His price was also reasonable because I had received a quote about 5 years ago and his quote was a little less than the one then.
