Description of Work: I called them, told them what I needed and they were supposed to call me back to schedule and they never did. I ended up using another Angie's List recommended vendor - Apple Tree Locksmiths - and they were terrific. Came the day I called and were excellent!

Description of Work: Down came to my home to check a lock that was sticking and pull out a broken key from my back door. They scheduled me in quickly and arrived promptly. The technician was really nice and efficient. He lubricated and tightened the mechanism in the lock and then showed me how I might avoid the problem in the future. He made me a couple of extra keys at no added cost..bonus! I would definitely call them again.

The locksmiths are employees, not contractors, and all have been polite and professional. They also cleaned up behind themselves. I thought the service was good and the price appropriate.

Description of Work: Purchased a safe and also had deadbolts and locks changed on doors. Cal and all of his team at Downs were professional, polite, and on time. Technicians did a terrific job and cleaned up afterward. Everyone was very responsive via email as well as telephone. Estimates came out precisely as projected with no unplanned variations. This is an excellent company and I would not hesitate to hire them again if needed.

Description of Work: Installed a new lock with a combination access and re-keyed it. A new hole was drilled in the door and a new fitting in the doorframe.

This afternoon they called to say there was a man in the area and could come today which was great. My locks are old but with a little reconditioning from the locksmith, they were as fine as before. Great service and nice man.

The cost of the work was about what I was estimated and I received a 10% discount for being an Angie's member.
