Atlanta Chimney Worx

I was not happy as they charged more for a brick chimney. He checked it out and he was going to get back with me and he never did. I have a double chimney and he was suppose to get back with me to create an extension for one of them and he never did that.

He set up a date and time that worked around our schedule. Was very professional and courteous. Checked everything including the roof. Once he was done with his inspection, made sure that he not only told us of the issues but showed us as well. We feel very good about the experience and would recommend him to anyone.

Arvydas cleaned the chimney and showed us pictures of the inside before and after. He made some suggestions and was very thorough. He helped us select gas logs and was very informative. The installation went smoothly and he answered all our questions. He even gave us some free pine cones and acorns made of the log material to use as decoration. We were very pleased with his thoroughness and knowledge, and he was also funny.

I purchased a deal from them I saw on Angie's list for a custom chimney cap. The owner came out and gave me an estimate on the work and so other co.

The service turned out good. They were professional, and completed the job efficiently. I have no complaints.

I was happy with the service. However, he charged me an additional $30 to come to my area, a charge that should have been stipulated in the deal prior to purchasing it. There were also scheduling issues due to his lack of responsiveness that presented an issue as well.

I would say he was professional and thorough, I was a little disappointed I had to pay more. He was good at least about communicating.

They were very responsive and there was no problems at all. I thought I was purchasing a cleaning, but it was just an inspection so I got a refund & no work was done.

We bought our house new and had been living in it for 7 years. Quite frankly, the gas fireplace never worked as it should. To get it to ignite the flame, I would always have to access the wires under the fireplace and jiggle them to get the gas flame started. We'd had a few repair people out to look at it over the years, but no one could seem to figure out what the problem was. Finally my wife found Atlanta Chimney Worx on Angie's List and we decided to give them a try. Within 5 minutes they diagnosed that our issue was with the outlet switch wiring itself, not the fireplace wiring. After a quick 10 minute repair, the fireplace was better than new. Would definitely use Atl Chimney Worx again. They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and provided great service.

That service was fine. One technician came out and it took him a couple of hours. His clean-up was good and he did everything that the deal stated. Scheduling was just fine and easy.

He was priced fairly and punctual. He took pictures of what the issues were before the fix and showed me pictures he took after the fix. Will use again and would highly recommend.

He just said our chimney wasn't used that much down here. The guy was okay and everything, I just don't know what he actually did. I didn't get to see any equipment come in, I just saw, like, a little shop vac. He seemed alright, maybe ours was so clean that it didn't need that cleaning. We just thought he would have something to clean it with, brush or something. When he was in the house I went to wash some clothes and he was gone before I got out. They came right away to do the service. They were good, it was just a young kind. I think I was expecting something different. It is not really a complaint. It's just that I was a little surprised that it was quick and that I didn't see equipment. The kid said that the thing was really, really clean. He might have been right. I don't think that I would refer them but I don't really have any reason not to either.

He was on time, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend his work. He cleaned up everything when the job was done. I was thrilled with his work!!!

The service turned out pretty good and the guy was good. He was thorough and he was clean. I think he did an excellent job and very responsive. They were a little late but they called to let me know that the guy that was coming had had little bit longer time from the previous job which was okay.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out great; they did a good job. He came out on time and was very responsive. He said he would be here and called ahead. He looked at the chimney and did not see any damage. He proceeded to clean the chimney for the next 45 minutes to an hour and that was it. There was nothing negative; it was all positive. They were responsive, kept me in the loop during the scheduling process and was very informative when it came to the actual chimney. He gave me a lot of knowledge and told me a couple of things to do to keep the chimney up and running for the foreseeable future. I spent an additional $50 above the price of the Big Deal.

Extremely responsive in terrible weather. He spent about an hour with us. Due to other projects we have, he is getting back to us with cost estimates on our ideas which will most likely include capping the chimney and installing gas logs- vent-less.

Everything turned out well. They were responsive when we called to schedule, kept everything clean while they worked, and did a good job in general. The only issue was that he took some convincing to do a double check on some serious issues that he claimed to have found. Upon completing the second inspection, it was confirmed that his diagnosis was, indeed, incorrect.

He came right out to do the initial inspection (which I had purchased as a "deal" on Angie's List). But it took longer than expected to get the quote back from him (15 days) and get the repair scheduled (an additional 8 days). This was disappointing. But otherwise he was very professional, courteous, neat, and my chimney seems to be drawing smoke very well.

They were great. They were in and out really quickly. They were also knowledgeable, polite, and efficient.

Arvydas did an excellent job. He explained how our gas starter was set up a little differently and discussed safety. He took pictures to show the cracks in our chimney cap and explained the potential problems related to it. Given the rains, it was a good thing that we caught this problem early, before more water got into the chimney. He also showed how the repairs were made as well. I admit I am doing this late and do not recall the actual cost, but it was in line with what others charge (when I compared online).

I bought the deal for gas logs online received a call within the next day or two. Arvydas worked with my schedule we settled on the install for the following Tuesday. I received an email later in the week confirming the time date of install. Arvydas arrived on time quickly installed the logs. He was prompt professional courteous knowledgeable. The only additional cost I had was because I live outside the installation area. He told me this over the phone. I absolutely recommend this company.

45 minutes later, job well done. He explained exactly what he did, and why and showed me how to turn the fireplace on and off and regulate the fire. I am very pleased with the product and the service. I will highly recommend this company to friends & family. THANK YOU !!!

Paid for a promotion for inspection w Angie's List. Upon arrival the technician scraped paint off my unit to see the name brand without asking if this was ok. He told me that the flue was not opening properly and that he wasn't sure how to fix that. After some time he told me that he would have to investigate how to work w my particular brand of furnace and order parts. He left without any further work on my fireplace and has not responded to my email re follow up. I feel that he did not do the work I paid for (no cleaning or any other work was performed as far as I'm aware, in fact it was left with scraped paint that I have to repair) and am disappointed he has chosen not to follow up with me.
