THE DUCT MAN OF ATLANTA

WOW ...what exceptional service! We recently moved into a 50+ year old home that had been renovated 9 years ago. I decided I wanted to breathe clean air in my home as I knew there were several previous owners (dogs, cats, construction debris, etc.) I started with Angie to check out duct cleaning services in my area and THE DUCT MAN of Atlanta was an absolute standout. There were so many positive reviews - I just had to call them. Richard and Robert were terrific. These men went above and beyond our expectations. I asked them to also clean the fans in my bathrooms and they more than happy to oblige. They also showed my husband how to clean the filter to our HVAC (it was different than any we had previously owned). I would highly recommend DUCT MAN of Atlanta and use them in the future.

Richard and his Dad arrived on time, and went right to work. They did an outstanding job, and went the extra mile on some of the work that they didn't expect to be paid for. Top notch crew. 4.0

Crew of two, RJ and Alex, arrived on time. Counted up the registers/louvers and provided total cost proposal. Did a thorough job (over six hours) including a few registers/louvers that were about 15' high on the walls and a dryer vent also about 15' above the ground. The registers and louvers were cleaned very well (Alex). The duct cleaning included inserting the cleaning tool in ducts at duct junctions in the attic as well as inserting if from the register/louver end of the ducts. Small amounts of debris that fell from the registers/louvers when they were removed/re-installed was thorough vacuumed up at the end of the job. Furnace filters were also changed. De-odorizer and sanitizer was sprayed into the furnace units. Crew was courteous and diligent, working without a lunch break. Only two things would have made this better: 1) a lower price (of course!) and 2) the crew offering to wear shoe covers in the house (which would have added a small bit of time and trouble to the job).

RJ and Alex were early, which was a good thing because the job took 5 1/2 hours, approximately. The equipment was amazing; a HEPA vacuum strong enough to get out debris from ductwork all over the house. All debris was carried through their own portable ductwork that was attached to the large vacuum. RJ and Alex were courteous and very professional. The job was described beforehand and the cost, as well. Since I had miscounted the number of vents by quite a bit, the job was more than the estimate I got over the phone. I did not fault them for my error, and was still satisfied with the price for the work involved. When the job was finished, RJ went through the house checking that everything was in order. The mold preventative they sprayed in the ducts after they were cleaned left the house smelling fresh and clean. I would not hesitate to give them a top recommendation.

Not only were the guys from The Duct Man here right on the dot at 8:00 AM, but they immediately set to work and worked like dogs for the next five hours. The ducts in this house had never been cleaned, and the house was built in 1967. We had the proverbial "before" and "after" ducts. The dust and grime in our ducts was so thick and so clotted that mold had even grown in them. I don't think I've ever seen men work as hard as these men did. For five solid hours, they vacuumed the air ducts. First, they vacuumed them from inside the house; then, they attacked them starting at the HVAC system and working backward toward the house. So, each duct was cleaned from both ends - something I didn't even know needed to be done. Then, they cleaned the guts of the HVAC system itself. I don't know how many huge bags of dust and grime they removed from the house, but just watching the work was both impressive and humbling. They also cleaned every vent cover before replacing them. (And I'm sure for some of those vents, that was the first time they had been cleaned. In fact, I know it was a first for most of the vents; one was *glued* to the ceiling and had to be very carefully removed.) In addition, while they working, R.J., one of the men from The Duct Man, came and told me that two return vents fed into the same duct. This meant, he said, that my cost would be $10 less than that to which we had agreed. Who does that? Have you ever known a contractor to do that? Lower the agreed-upon price because they found less work than anticipated? On top of everything else, R.J. and Alex both exhibited extreme patience as I found, fetched, and moved our very anxious and ill cat from one room to another. R.J. even told me to please stop apologizing for how long it took me to fetch and move her. Again, this was a first for an experience such as this with a contractor. I cannot recommend them highly enough and only wish I had a stronger grasp of persuasive writing so that I could adequately explain the difficulty and extent of the work done and the dedication and professionalism with which it was dispatched.

Outstanding. I was apprehensive about selecting a company that I had not used before and had not heard of. Went with Duct Man because of the reviews on Angie's List. Having had a bad experience with a company 10 years ago, I was sure to be home during the entire time so I could monitor the work. Duct Man exceeded my expectations. The job took 6 hours, just as I was told when I made the appointment. RJ and Alex went through the house with me to count all of the registers and returns, and apprised me of the cost before they got started. (I did ask for an estimate when I made the appointment.) I have two units and 35 registers/returns. This is important to note because all of the companies base their price on the number of units and registers/returns. Some of the low offers seen advertised are for smaller units with way fewer openings. They get you with the add-ons. The work was excellent and extremely thorough. I had just completed a renovation and needed to get the excess sheet rock dust and debris out of the two systems. This did the trick. The im[portant facts: They showed up on time; the price was as quoted on the phone; the two men were extremely professional; the clean up was excellent. Can't think of any negatives. They did a great job.

They showed up on time, we're friendly and informative. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with their service!! We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing duct cleaning services in their home.

They were able to come out a day early.

Everything went smoothly. There was no dirt that escaped while they cleaned. They call ahead before they arrive and finished faster than expected. They did a great job.

This was incredible service! They arrived on time and got to work immediately. The work ethic of these two young men was admirable. They both worked very efficiently the whole time they were here, were very professional and yet very personable. They explained the process and answered all of my questions. They were very careful with my furniture and cleaned up nicely. The equipment they used was very impressive. Considering the quality of the service they performed, I felt that the price was more than reasonable. Some of my vents were covered on the inside with mold. They cleaned that up so thoroughly--I was very, very thankful! I will recommend them to friends and family and I certainly will use them again.

The crew did a great job. They answered my questions and explained the process to my satisfaction. The work progressed without delay and interruption. Pricing was explained before they began and was less than expected. Very satisfied.

The crew of 4 had 4 units to clean. They quoted a reasonable price and completed the work in a timely fashion. My ducts were disinfected with a nice smelling herbal cleaner and when the air blows my home smells lovely. Job well done.

Richard and Robert of the Duct Man of Atlanta were fabulous! They showed up exactly on time. They explained what they were going to do. We toured the house. Our home is difficult with two systems and a crawl space but nothing fazed them. It was cold outside but they were extremely accommodating. I was working at home at the time and they worked diligently for hours, leaving me to get my work done. Not only did they clean all of the ducts, they also got rid of the rust on the vents, sprayed them with Kilz and spray painted them white. They went way beyond the call of duty! Now our ducts looked clean on the inside and out. We found them on Angie's List so we even got our dryer vent cleaned out for free. I was very surprised when they arrived on time; this was a first for me. Not only did they do a superb job but the two young men gave me great tips. I was in the process of having new carpet put down and they advised me on making sure that the vents were covered and other helpful things I needed to know. In all my dealings with service folks and contractors they were the most professional and courteous folks I have ever had to do business with. I highly recommend them.

From start to finish the team did an excellent job. I received a timely response when I called and left a message to schedule an appointment. They showed up when they said they would, did a thorough job, and most importantly--cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at the amount of debris that was in our vents. There's a reason they have so many positive reviews. I highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The Duct Man gave me very straight forward pricing over the phone and explained the process and next steps fully. The team came out on time on the scheduled day of the service and assessed my needs before getting started. I had signed up to get two HVAC systems and vents cleaned; however, on inspection of my upstairs unit the team recommended I leave my upstairs system as is as it was not worth me paying for clearning as the vents were looking clean. Duct Man's honestly saved me $200 - got to love that! Guys were friendly and worked quickly. Used a powerful vac along with air compressors to get the ducts spotless. They cleaned things up nicely with some liquid spray around each vent and left the house spotless with a shop vac sweep at the end (picked up additional things I had been meaning to get to). Would use the Duct Man in the future. Highly recommend them.

Can't say enough. Excellent. Alex and Richard were fantastic. Truly seemed to care that they did a good job. Their work was greatly appreciated. Definately feel like I got more value than the cost. Would highly recommend!

Scheduling was easy and we worked out an appt time just a week after I called. They arrived promptly. They removed all vent covers, took them outside and washed them! I had a coupon for a free dryer vent cleaning, but the technician said my vent was so short and quite clean already, that they took $50 off the bill instead. Such honesty is rare these days! I have two systems and a fairly large house, and it took over 4 hours for them to clean it all, so I felt the price was very fair. I would definitely use them again and refer them to others.

They did exactly what they said they would do and at the exact time they said they would do it. They even came back out because I called about my dehumidifier not running and made it run again. No worries about getting ripped off because they are very honest about billing. I was instructed not to pay the invoice left behind because it was wrong, instead I was instructed to pay $50 less because of an error. Thank You Duct Man of Atlanta. See you again in a few years.

Moved into my house a few months ago and knew the ducts were dirty because of the constant dusting required. RJ & Robert were prompt, professional and pleasant. They explained everything they did and showed me the "gunk" the were removing from one of the returns. They also cleaned up after themselves and changed the filters (which I had). An overall painless experience and would use them again if needed. I will be recommending them to my friends.
