They did a fabulous job!! R.J. even reported to me the condition of my furnace/ac unit and what needed to be done to correct some issues. I will be relaying these to my heating and ac service tech - I appreciate his efforts to help me out on something that really should have not been of his concern, but he was so helpful! I will definitely use them again and would gladly refer anyone else to them. P.B.D.

Went great overall. Punctual, informative, good suggestions and even asked if I had a coupon. Found mold in some vents and treated all the vents. Dryer is only 3 years old, but the accumulation in the vent unbelievable.

RJ & Dennis arrived right on time, explained what they would do and then went about doing it in a very professional manner. They let us know about a potential mold problem in the upstairs system. They did such a good job in getting rid of the mold, that a follow up service from an A/C company found no problem. They cleaned up very well after the job. All-in-all we are very satisfied with this company.

Got a quick response on the phone and service was scheduled promptly. They were on time and did a thorough job. In addition to the duct cleaning they were to clean our dryer vent. When it was clear that the dryer vent had bigger problems than just a lint clog, they recommended a solution and knocked $50 off of our bill since they didn't think cleaning the vent would be beneficial. Overall good guys and would happily use them again.

Allen and Alex arrived slightly early and waited in their van until the time of their appointment. These guys are polite, professional, and knowledgeable in what they do. We talked through what needed to be done and after Allen realized that our house's vents have not been cleaned in more than 20 years, he looked at me and said "we are going to be here all day, and we are going to do it right". We had other work being done on our house that day and everybody stood amazed at how these guys worked. They provided me periodic updates on the progress they were making and explained the condition of the various units and vents. The visible junk that came out of our vents alone made this service a necessity and these guys took no short-cuts. Allen even called in another crew to come and assist in the afternoon to make sure they complete the job in one day. These guys were running around all day, in and out of the attic and basement, doing a yeoman's job and I will gladly pay $840 to have a whole crew work all day on my house. Enough said - these guys are the best, especially if you can get Allen and Alex.

They know what they're doing and are very nice and professional. They were also on time. He also explained everything very well.

It went very well. From reading other Angie's list reviews, I knew to expect them to be a little early. They showed up 18 minutes before our 1pm appointment. Two men (Allen and Alex) showed up and they went immediately into the attic to see the system. Allen is the owner. Then we went around to each room and located all the supply vents and air returns. There were 22 in all and one HVAC system. After unloading their equipment (Abate Tech 2500, various air compressor hoses with attachments, a big accordion style 8 inch exhaust hose, ladders, electric drills), one of them began removing air vent covers, and the other went into the attic to connect the exhaust hose to the junction box of the HVAC system. They proceeded with the vent cleaning and running the cleaning hoses through the vents. They made sure to go through the complete length of each ventilation shaft, and not just cleaning the parts I could see. After that was done they cleaned out the dryer exhaust shaft. They found an old birds nest. So it was really clogged. They did a good job of covering things when they thought dust might fall on it. And they vacuumed under each vent before they left. So they left everything tidy. The whole job took about 5 hours. I used the coupon from Angie's List.

Allen and Alex arrived promptly as scheduled. They cleaned all vents (23) on two units. Both were professional and friendly. In addition to cleaning, Allen also inspected our duct work as the work progressed and discovered four ducts that had dry rot (due to age) and were allowing fiberglass to be blown into our home. He showed me which vents were affected and then sealed them off until we could get the duct work replaced. They cleaned and vacuumed around all vents and made sure everything was clean before they left. I highly recommend Duct Man of Atlanta. Their work is exceptional. I would readily welcome both Allen and Alex into my home at any time. If you are looking for someone to clean your air conditioning ducts, you can't go wrong with Duct Man of Atlanta. They are awesome!

Ductman showed up as scheduled, and I showed him the dryer area. He and his partner examined the ducts from the dryer through to the exit wall, hooked up a machine which sucked the lint all the way outside, played with the dogs, and cleaned up all the debris which did not go into their recepticle. they showed me all the lint (wow!) and fixed the outside ventillation so it would stay clearer longer. They were quick, personable, and polite.

It took 2 phone calls to get the owner of the company to come out, but once he came, he got right to work and went to great lengths to remove all the hair and debris from the dryer vent. He gave us a wonderful discount for Angie's list membership, and finished in a timely manner. He was very experienced and we will use him regularly now that we know what to do and who to call.

They made sure before they put the vents back in that they cleaned them. Our downstairs unit was old so there was a lot of hair from our old dog and they made sure to clean it well. They were on time and did a really good job. They showed me everything they were doing as they were doing it.

The people were on time, equipment was in good working order, they were very careful in the house and basement. They cleaned up with little ease and were done within 3 hours.

We had an odor coming through our AC vents. I went on Angie's List and saw that Duct Man had a near-unanimous history of A service reviews. Called the owner, Allan and he described services and said he had a crew available the next morning. The fellas arrived promptly at 8:30 as promised. They were there until almost noon. They were thoroughly professional and explained precisely what they were doing. They attached a giant hose to each of the vents in the house (we had about 20) and using a compressor that ran outside by their vehicle, they began a major suction of our ducts. The stuff that began coming out of through those vents and the big plastic tube is hard to describe. Not dust bunnies --but whole rabbit populations! Plus, coins and pins and other metal objects. After the company completed that portion of the job they applied an anti-fungal and an air freshener to the entire system. Bottom line: the odor --whatever it was?--was completely eliminated. And without question the air coming through the vents is now cleaner. And I'm assured that my power bills will be lowered. These gents --RJ and Dennis -- really knew what they were doing. But they also behaved like complete pros. I could honestly not have been more satisfied and will be recommending them to all my friends and associates.

They arrived on time and did a fabulous job, despite the very cold conditions and the help of my two 3 year old children who were fascinated by their equipment. Would highly recommend them

I called The Duct Man of Atlanta to set up an appointment to have my dryer vent cleaned. The date was selected based on 1) my preference; and 2) when they would have their vehicle in the area I lived. The Duct Man employee called me to let me know that he was running late and if it would be okay to come later. He arrived at the time he said and was very professional and completed the job as hired to do.

They did a great job. Showed me how to replace the filters.

We have 2 systems and a total of 26 vents. We used the Angie's list coupon. We had them come out after the drywall work and painting had been completed. They arrived, set up, got to work. They were efficent and tidy. We could look at the duct work and see the difference. They did an excellent job.

They did a great job on everything except my coil. I did not discover this until my HVAC service provider showed me. I had my HVAC man complete the cleaning (at an additional fee). I called The Duct Man and he came out to inspect it. He agreed that his guys did not follow their procedures. The Duct Man paid me what I had to pay my HVAC contractor. They admitted they did not complete the job, they stood behind their work and refunded me the money. Employees can make mistakes. The company made it right. They handled it very professionally and I would highly recommend them.

The owner ( Allen ) came out and did my job. They arrived right on time. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but they walked through the house with me at the beginning and explained everything they would do. Even though my furnace was in the basement, they got into the attic and cleaned from up there too. They cleaned all the vents and returns on both floor of my house using drop cloths to keep the mess down. My airconditioner/furnance had a ton of dust and debris in it. Allen spent maybey 45 minutes cleaning just the coil and the fan. I've seen ads that say someone can clean your ducts for $99. You get what you pay for. They spent close to 5 hours at my house cleaning, and they were busy the whole time. The air in our house is noticably cleaner now.

*WARNING THEY ONLY TAKE CASH / CHECK* which I was not informed of beforehand~! They came punctually. They were awesome people, very nice and considerate. They came in, did their job, left no footprints and left... what more can I say... other than the fact that I had so much crap in the ducts omg... They did the 50$ discount and the dryer vent which made up for the fact that I wasn't warned about the no credit card issue. They don't have much of any fancy equipment but it got the job done! Very knowledgeable people. Also, they found a problem with my AC... which is good since I never go up there...

We bought a home built in 1960, in 2000. Lady had several cats over the 20 yrs before we bought. Installed a new heat pump system in 12/09. In the process we found an accumulation of debris in the old furnace. We postphoned the duct cleaning until 9/10 because could not find a contractor we felt would do the job right. Joined Angies List on 9\12\10 and began search. Narrowed the companies down to The Duct Man because of the excellent reviews and it was a familly business. We were not disappointed! Allan,(the owner) answered the phone and described the process and quoted a price. We set a date and he called on the way to advise when he would arrive. Allan and Chance went to work on arrival. I spent the entire 5 hours observing the work and found it to be thorough and professional. During the process, I learned that Allan has been doing this for over 20yrs and had a very dim view of some of the highly advertised companies with their cameras since he had followed behind them many times. My wife has asthma and after only two nights she has found relief. You should have seen the debris that had accumulated over the 30 yrs, Yuck! We are very pleased with the work The Duct Man did.

They were very good. I looked them up on Angie's List. I don't know a whole lot about the price because I did the job in a hurry. There was so much dust in the house that I figured I had to have somebody come right away. I would use them in the future if I needed to.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish, from the initial phone estimate where we were given a very detailed description of what they would do & how it would happen, to the two workers showing up at our house and performing the work. They explained everything they would do or were doing so we would understand, and answered all our questions thoroughly. They did not rush so we felt they took their time to do the job right, and they also cleaned up after themselves pretty well which was nice! They took time to educate us on how to keep our system cleaner longer, which was nice considering a dirty system gives them more business, not less. The guys were very friendly & professional & easy to work with. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone needing duct cleaning service. We selected them based on their reviews, their telephone manner, and the fact that they specialize in duct cleaning made us more confident that they would do a better job than some of the bigger companies that do multiple services. Their price was in the middle of other estimates we got so I think the price was quite fair, especially considering how easy they were to work with and the quality of work we feel we got.
