They resturned my call quickly but did not provide the services I was looking for.

Matt Eby was very responsive and had a wealth of information and vision for the work we wanted. We had recently had the backyard re-sodded and within months it was full of weeds. We had decided to replace a third of the yard with a rock garden and line three two sides of the property with bamboo. Matt came up with the design, estimate and recommendations. The work was done professionally and timely. We issues with one of the palms in the garden and contacted Matt - he gave us instructions on how to handle. That worked for a month and then the palm died. Loosing one out of so many plants and trees was not an issue for us, but were happy that Matt continued to make himself available to us to answer questions and give advice. We Highly recommend Eby's Landscaping - it was a great experience.

Along with repainting and getting a new roof we also needed to update our landscaping. We wanted a fresh, updated look for the front of our 18 year old home but needed to stay within a budget. Matt Eby returned our call and came by promptly. After taking a walk around he drew up a plan and provided an estimate on the spot. The landscaping was performed within a week and we're very pleased! The plants are of high quality and the finished result is very attractive. Whether your project is small (like ours) or larger, we would highly recommend Ebys Landscape for a professional job from start to finish!

I was very impressed. He was prompt, professional, set a time to complete the job, and was right on time. They finished in 2 days with a crew of 3 people. It's now a new outdoor space I can enjoy and use to entertain. The patio and landscaping is wonderful, and people that have seen it can't believe it's the same yard! I had Matt come out on a Thursday to look at a flooding/drainige problem and recommend solutions. He said there was no way to do just a simple repair to the old drain. He measured the area and gave me an estimate. I contacted a surveyer to do a survey clearly identifying the property line and called Matt back the following Monday saying the survey was done. Matt indicated he would tentatively schedule me for the upcoming Friday, and let me know if he would be able to make that. Thursday evening Matt called to confirm he would be able to make the Friday insatllation. He arrived at the time he said and he and his crew started installing the drain - in the rain!! They worked through a couple of hours of rain and completed the installation after about 6 hours. Matt cleaned up the area well after they were completed. He hauled off the dirt from the trench as well as surplus installation materials. Matt was on site the whole time with his 2 helpers. Matt worked right alongside them doing the work - he get's his hands dirty. I've used him twice before, once for flower garden installation, and his work has been outstanding every time.

Came with an estimate, followed up on the estimate. Agreed on when to place sod, came on that date, placed sod.The only thing that didnt turn out that well was that there were some holes (not even) in the yard. But all in all they did a good job. Sod was good and yard looks great

Matt was professional, hard-working and fast. The work was done on time and I was satisfied with the finished producgt

He was very nice and a very well put together young man. He was a very pleasant person. There were no problems. I haven't accepted the estimate yet because I am trying to get another one because this is an insurance thing. It is expensive but I expected that and it wasn't out of line; it is just a matter of getting another one.

They came out when they said they would. The only thing we were concerned about was that the lawn was brown. He explained that was all he could get at the time and that if we watered it, it would green up. It was the first time we had ever put in a brown lawn but as it turned out, he was right. We were a little concerned but it turned out fine. The price was average. They were the only ones willing to do the job at the time because everyone else was busy. We would probably use them again.

Yes, I certainly would put Eby Landscaping on the top of the list for larger landscaping projects.

The overall work went well and they were excellent. We were happy with the product they put in.

From start to finish, our experience with Eby's Landscape was wonderful! Matt is professional, yet easy to talk with. The price was extremely reasonable. He submitted an itemized price list so we knew exactly how he arrived at our estimate. He was always punctual. He kept us informed about how the project would proceed, what would be done each day, and when it would be completed. He worked quickly and efficiently, but never missed even the smallest detail. The quality of the sod, trees, and plants was beyond anything we had hoped for. Throughout the entire project, we felt Matt treated it as though it was his own home. Nothing was overlooked. Matt was totally responsive to our ideas and our desires. He always had a positive attitude. We wish there was a rating higher than "A" to give to Eby's Landscape because they deserve it. Since we were so delighted with the landscaping, we hired Eby's Landscape to maintain it. That service is also exceptional!

His quote was itemized and reasonable, and he made suggestions for other improvements related to the work we asked him about. I really liked these suggestions as they made a lot of sense and aren't things I would have thought to do.

I liked the fellow, who came out. He seemed nice enough. He was willing to do a bit of creative thinking to solve the problem that I had. I wanted the bushes out that were well established and were spreading through my backyard. So, he decided to kill the bushes and cut them off at the bottom. He was responsive, punctual and professional. He hasn?t done the job yet. I might use the company for the job.

I began my search for a landscaper by looking on Angie's List. I saw that Matt Eby had excellent ratings so gave him a call. He promptly returned my call and we set up an appt for him to come out. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgable and had very good ideas in regards to what was needed in our yard...front and back. We discussed what we wanted to do and he said he would call us back with an estimate. After hearing his estimate, which was very fair and reasonable we decided to go ahead with Eby Landscaping....plus we just liked Matt! We were not disappointed either. Matt and his workers showed up when they said and worked hard for three days. Matt often checked with me if he had any questions or additional suggestions. We were very pleased with the results and plan some additional work with Matt in the future.

Matt and his helper were very professional. He was out and gave us a quote, provided references and we set a date to begin work. They showed up on time and started and they never took a break except for a lunch break (about a half an hour). Proficient in what they did and cleaned up after themselves quite well. I would absolutely use him again for any other project.

They were punctual and performed the work as I had asked. I watched as they worked and asked for small changes here and there. They were very responsive to my requests and cleaned up nicely after themselves.

Two days later I counted 24 plants uprooted floating, and 30 plants still in place. I called him to come back and replant them. He told my husband to go into the lake and replant the uprooted plants by himself, put rocks on top of them, and then set up a fence to prevent waves from hitting the new plants. That was a big surprise since that was never told to us at the beginning of the job. I hired Matt to get the job done from start to finish. We also talked about removing torpedo grass and weeds that were growing on the shoreline. Later he stated that it wasn't included and he did it as a favor. He came back a week later to put them back, and put some rocks on top of them. After that he went to tell us that we are liars, and that we told him on purpose that half of the plants were floating to get him to come back and replant. He must have told my husband 10 times that we lied to him about the number of plants uprooted. He claimed to have planted 90 plants and if only 24 were uprooted that this was insignificant. Since there were only 30 intact plants when he came back this means either quite a few just floated away (significantly greater than 50% loss of plants) or he never planted as many as he told us. In either case, we certainly did not lie to this man. You just don t talk to the customer that way. If you do the job, there should be some warranty that comes with it, especially if half of the plants or more are gone 2 days later.

They ripped old dying ferns out, crate myrtles, and old grass. It was amazing how fast they got that done. They regraded the ground on the front and the side, so that water goes toward the drains. By the end they cleaned up really well. There was one little area left that needed old plants removed, and Matt came back a couple days later, like he promised and finished that. The final price came out cheaper then estimated, because we didn't need to add another box for the drain. We are very happy with the experience and work completed. Matt Eby came out quickly to assess the situation and give me a proposed solution and an estimate. He indicated the source of the water was runoff from the roof and suggested I add gutters across the back of the house. He would connect them to French drains he would install on each side. Then, dig up the back quarter of the lot where the erosion was, level that off, and re-sod that and the new drains. I got the gutters installed withing 3 days using another Angie's List contractor, called Matt back on a Monday and he and his crew came out the following Friday and finished Saturday morning. They cleaned up VERY well from all the rocks they staged in my driveway for the drains and stuff, including old French drain pipe, that came out of the ground.

Returned my initial phone call promptly. When he came to look at the job and give me an estimate, he listened to what I wanted and gave me his opinion on what would work and what wouldn't. Arrived on time on the day the job was to be done and worked consistently to the end of the job. The final bill came in $200 less than the estimate he gave me.

Matt's service ethic is exceptional. He responded to my initial call the same day and re-arranged his schedule to meet me during lunch. He came with many ideas and a practical approach to the project, keeping in mind our budget and goals. He arrived when he said he would to complete the project, which he did in one day with a sufficient crew. Matt also recommended an irrigation tech to successfully treat our old sprinkler system. He even called the next week to follow up and make sure we were satisfied with his work. Matt's communication skills are top-notch, especially compared to the typical service levels within the industry.

They came on time and were perfectly clean. They were really, really, great! Everything was perfect. The guy is dynamite.
