Description of Work: I had to keep rescheduling for her to come out for a landscaping. We finally agreed on a date and she came out. She looked over the yard and then gave me a quote. I didn't end up using her services, but I was very impressed with her and the way she handles business. She was very responsive, and even came out on a Saturday to give me the quote.

Description of Work: I recently purchased a new pool home. Cathy is extremely knowledgeable about the best plants and trees for this area. She designed a beautiful garden around the pool and also re purposed some of the plants included by builder and added some additional plants so that my home is not a cookie cutter image of other homes in the area. She has helped me plan several more projects that she will do for me in the coming months. Cathy has great ideas and is a joy in all she does. I strongly recommend Cathy and her company to all.

Description of Work: The owner, Cathy Bove, was quick to call and come to our house to measure our project. She listened to our input regarding plant likes and dislikes. She then drew a preliminary plan that came close to what we wanted. When it came time to figure up the final cost, things got sticky. Cathy says she cannot do the job with the $350 "Deal Value" applied. Without the $350 "Deal Value" discount, I think her price is out of line with what I expect to pay for a new flower bed. When the advertisement states: "Deal value will be applied to installation costs" and "Deal value can be applied to the total project cost", I do not feel that there should be any confusion. What I purchased (a $350 "Deal Value") is clearly not being honored and once again I feel like a chump for ever looking at anything on Angie's List.

 + -1 moreEverything was awesome! Cathy came out and did an initial consultation and walk-around of the home. Thereafter a couple of days later she returned with a drawing plan and a quote for the project. She stayed in constant communication throughout the entire project, letting me know when the project would start, she notified me of any changes in plant selection, and reasons for any other adjustments. This project took about two weeks from beginning to end (due to a lack of communication on my part for a few days), but the end result was gorgeous! We are very pleased with the yard, and are very grateful to have found Fox Hollow. I would recommend Fox Hollow Nursery & Landscaping as a contractor for landscaping projects.

 + -1 moreIn the beginning when we first moved in we put in a lot of shrubs, small trees and a couple of large trees. The owner is very knowledgeable about plants and she is very helpful in picking out shrubberies that would survive without a whole lot care. Her son came in and planted a couple trees for us. He just did a very professional job. Her prices compared to some other nurseries were very reasonable. My husband liked the two trees. She supplied, delivered and planted about a ten foot crape myrtle in my front yard for $50 and that was totally reasonable. Even though we haven't done a lot of business lately she will call me because she has an annual shrub and tree sale twice a year. She will let me know about the sale. One time I was trying to find a particular tree and she didn't have it but she found it for me and she had brought in to her nursery. She does special things like that.

Fortunately that day she was placing an order for more crepe mrytles and she quickly added another for me to buy. The Tonto was ready for pickup in just a couple of days. I found Kathy to be knowledgeable and professional. I had visited other nurseries and was disappointed in the amount of stock on hand. Kathy's nursery was filled with so many choices. I even picked out my next purchase already. I will definitely tell my friends and neighbors to go to Fox Hollow and see Kathy.
Description of Work: Kathy Bove, owner, was quite pleasant when I spoke to her on the phone about purchasing a Tonto Crepe Mrytle tree. Fortunately that day she was placing an order for more crepe mrytles and she quickly added another for me to buy. The Tonto was ready for pickup in just a couple of days. Kathy gave me instructions for planting the tree and how much to water it. She also explained how tall the tree would grow and how the root system went down deep instead of spreading out. This was important information because we had an 85' oak tree, which was cut down, whose roots were taking over the lawn and I needed to be sure they wouldn't interfere with the Tonto roots. Kathy placed the tree in my SUV for me so I didn't have to lift it. She also takes credit/debit cards.
