It went pretty well. They did a really good job. I was very happy with their work.

He couldn’t do the pool enclosure because the way our home is situated next to our neighbors. He immediately got on the phone and called someone to complete it. He then worked out the fee with the company. I wasn’t charged anything extra and it was all within his total fee. He went above and beyond really making sure the job was done right. He paid real close attention to detail and did a beautiful job. I whole heartedly recommend him to my friends and anyone I know. Dana and his team were prompt, professional and really cared about the quality of the work. I would recommend them to anyone.

The pressure washing and sealing was very good however, overall it was average. The original quote was great but I think they underestimated the work but the guy who did the work honored the quote. We also ended up with quite a bit of sand in the pool that had to be washed out afterwards.

the job went well, we had to dodge the rain and they worked that out well, I was very pleased with the results and would definitely use them again. The owner of the company, Dana was courteous and professional and actually did the work with one helper. A job well done.

The pavers were in urgent need of a pressure wash. There was mold, moss and sand between the pavers and some were already sunk. Dana fixed the biggest section of sunk pavers and explained me what I need to do fix the rest. After that they use a garden blower to blow out as much of the moss and dirt out the area. Then they spray the bleach mixture and let it sit for about 20 minutes. They scrubbed the pavers with a power scrubber. Dana then check for spot that need it the acid wash and after the acid he pressure washed the whole deck and surrounding areas. To finish he applied three coats of sealer. The pavers look great and he also left base sand so I could fix some of the other sunk pavers.

Arrived on time, did a thorough, professional job.

The care and workmanship of Tropical Paver Sealing was excellent. The end result appearance was well beyond our highest expectations. The whole process of stain removal, powerwashing, and sealing went very smooth, and was completed in one 12 hour work day by owner Dana and helper. We could walk on all surfaces the following day, and use our driveway on the 2nd day. Dana kept his commitment to his promised timetable, which minimized any inconvenience to my family. My wife and I are so very pleased with the work and ethics of this company.

I found tropical paver sealing on Angie's list and am glad I did! First off, we had a problem with some sunken pavers on our relatively new (less than one year old) paver pool deck. I contacted Dana (the owner of Tropical Pavers) and inquired about having him repair the bad pavers and then pressure wash and seal them. Dana made a great first impression on the phone when he told me that he was capable of repairing the problem but that I should contact the company that installed them as they should repair them under warranty. I didn't think sunken pavers were a warranty issue but decided to give them a call. He was correct and the paver issue I had was repaired by the original company for free! I was ready to pay Dana to do the job, but he was very honest and turned down the repair work because he knew it should be done at no cost to me. I was very impressed with his honesty! He turned down a paying job because it was the right thing to do. That speaks to his integrity! Once the pavers were repaired I called him back to schedule the cleaning and sealing. I was able to provide him the square footage of the deck over the phone and he provided an estimate immediately. The first day we had scheduled the forecast called for rain so Dana promptly rescheduled to another date when the weather was better. He arrived exactly when he said he would and immediately got to work cleaning, sealing and cleaning up. We are thrilled with the results! The pavers have a nice gloss to them (as requested) and the coping around the pool looks BETTER than new. Long story short, Dana does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it and does it VERY well. His integrity and professionalism are second to none. In short, if you need pavers sealing, pressure washing or any of the other services he provides, hire him. You won't regret it.

I joined Angie's List to find a paver company after doing some google searching. Tropical Paver Sealing had an outstanding rating and much to my surprise, a coupon for the driveway pressure washing. That more than made up for the 2 year Angie's list membership fee. I called the company, which is family owned. Amanda (wife) answered and said her husband could come out that same afternoon. Dana came the same afternoon for an estimate. He immediately honored Angie List coupon without my having to print it out. Based on my schedule, they started the work on December 6, 2012. One caution when giving phone numbers, be sure they are written down right. On the 5th I called to be sure they were coming Tuesday morning. Dana said he was glad I had called because had tried to contact me to say the previous job was going longer and they would be here after noon. Unfortunately he had the number written wrong. I was really impressed with Dana and his son, Alex who came and did all the pressure washing and sealing. Dana even pressure washed the sidewalk for me without charging more. Thank you! Alex is 19, but so very professional. Unlike many family teams (The Choppers come to mind) ... these men were totally professional, respectful of each other, and hard-working. They took care to protect my duck feeding area and keep any debris out of the pool. They also took car to remove any excess sealer from the aluminum. They told me they would do the sealing on Wednesday after lunch. But at 10 a.m. they were here. Alex said his Dad was aware that I was anxious to have it done early and changed his schedule to do that. I was totally pleased with their service and am more than happy to recommend them and use them again (maybe this time in 3 years.

Dana was very kind and professional. He arrived when he said for the estimate and the job. He was extremely concerned that we were satisfied with all work. Even made followup phone calls to check on everything a couple days after the job was done. His son works with him and is very kind and sweet. Nice to see a father and son working together. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

He gave us a really good quote. He answered all of my questions and I would definitely have him back again. They were very tidy and clean through the whole process.

Dana and his son came over promptly and provide a proposal on the spot. The price was good so I agreed to move forward with the project. Dana came back the day after sealing and moved the patio furniture back onto my deck. The deck looks fantastic. Tropical Paver Sealing is a great, family run company that I would use again.

Tropical Pavers came out and gave me an estimate the day after our initial contact. The following day they came and pressure washed the lanai and removed and leveled a few random pavers around the edges that had moved (for no additional charge.) They returned the following day to seal the pavers. The work was done exactly as presented to me, in the time frame that we had agreed on, and looks beautiful.

This was one of the parts of our new pool that went better than expected. Made a huge difference with look and use of patio.

I had used Tropical Paver Sealing services in the past with a client of mine and I called Dana back to our area for my house and some estimates on future work of my clients. I was excited to hear that they have expanded their services to this area. Again, I was pleased with their work, customer service and they scheduled a time that was convenient for me. Due to the recent weather being so cold they were warned me they may have to reschedule if the weather does not cooperate due to the fact it effects their equipment and products they use. They didn't want to waste both our time with poor quality since it reflects on their business. I was happy to hear that. The weather cooperated and they came in as scheduled and completed the work in a timely fashion. I was very pleased with my driveway and front entrance in time for my holiday guests. Yeah!!! and I will continue to call them for any of my clients.

We had a time planned out for him to come but he didn't show up so we had to reschedule. Once he came out though he did a great job. He definitely seemed to know what he was doing.

Overall it went pretty well. Dana handled the quote himself and was very polite and personable. After I selected them for the job, they were quick to start. I was actually away on a trip during the work so I did not see them in action except for the sealing effort on the last day. The pressure washing looked great - roof, deck and driveway. It still looks great and I don't have any major complaints. My minor complaints are that the project started a day late without a phone call due to some miscommunication on their end. I had to call and ask what happened and I had waited around for them to show so I wasted some time. Also, some of the pavers became loose or sunk due to sand getting removed during the wash. They said they would come back and take care of it but never did. It's only a couple and easy to fix so I'm calling it a minor issue. However, I would have given much better scores if they had followed through.

I happen to be in the Tampa area and had seen their work at a few customers homes and was impressed. I called and asked a lot of questions and they were all answered. His customer service was incredible and Dana bent over backwards to satisfy my requests. This Father/Son Team came to Sanibel Island 2 1/2 hours from their base area to work on the home of a very important and very particular client of mine. Their price was extremely reasonable for the quality service and travel they did. They were able to complete the work within the tight schedule they were given. They left the house and the work area cleaner than they found it. According to my client the house and deck had never looked so good. No one has been able to make their deck look brand new. Dana was able to make my client happy so I am VERY Happy!!! I have been sharing his information to everyone I know and hope he will expand to our area. *I hired them and oversaw the work, and approved the final payment.

I called them after doing a research online and I then hired them. They first provided the quote and then did the service. It is a small pool deck. The work was done when we weren’t there and they then gave the receipt to our neighbor. We paid before they finished the job. The sealing job looks good but it could have been better. We could have told them few thing we'd like them to fix if we were there. Overall, the quality of their work was fine even though it didn’t meet our expectation. They weren’t professional when it came to their responsiveness. Their punctuality was worse since they weren’t very well organized. The entire job took at least 4 days which they could have done in two day (the weather didn't help as well and they were busy). They could be more organize. It’s a small company run by a father and a son. They are good people. But I spent at least 3 days just waiting for them to show up. It wasn’t a big issue but I was just disappointed and they could have been a bit more professional. They also provide a one year warranty and I can hold them responsible if there is any default. I would not use their services again. (update 1 month later, our paver looks fine. I have to be fair to them since they are very good people and they know their business. I just wish they could be more organize)

Dana and his son were professional, friendly and did exactly as promised. I recommend them. The job was completed in a timely manner with my schedule, as well as theirs, taken into account.

They used to be A-1 Specialist and they changed their name. The owner is Dana Wayandt. It came out wonderfully. He and his son did it and it was very, very professional. They came out right on time and everything was right. When they said they would be there, they were there. Everything came out right and I would recommend them. They pressure washed it and sealed it with double epoxy. It is a double thing they have to do and they went over it twice. It is a two-step process. They did a very good job and I was very pleased with them. I had gotten a flyer from them and that is why I used them. The person I had previously used moved. He provided references.
