We do not any Kill Animals if not mandated by state, all relocated to the Wild. We also do DOA Removal, feces removal & bio treatment's to remove odors and markings. All projects including exclusion work, trapping and removals are done by the Owner. We are licensed and insured with all our Fla. State Docs current and plenty of referrals. Professional, thorough, courteous and excellent job was performed by Mr. Darryl Forrest. I was under a very tight deadline to address a bat population nesting under my roof tiles. He managed to get approvals and organize the project effectively and bring it to completion without a hitch. Kept me informed on progress and issues in a timely manner. I would recommend him without hesitation.

My experience was an outstanding and extremely positive one in working with Darryl Forrest of Affordable Wildlife Control. Darryl responded quickly, showed up on time, and politely answered all of my questions very professionally and with intelligence, clarity and enthusiasm. He is truly an expert in his field, and he was very clear about what work will be needed to be done, and performed it beyond and above. He has prior experience in the Building Industry, combined with an education in the Architectural/Construction industry, and understands not only his business- but also the technicalities of home construction and what appropriate preventative measures should be taken to prevent future problems. In solving my rodent problem, Darryl’s exceptional customer service included daily follow up and rapid deployment until the job was completed. In summary- Daryl was the consummate professional who went above and beyond my expectations, and my final bill for his services was more than fair, and far less than his competitors would have been! I will categorically state that Daryl did awesome work and was completely dependable and committed to resolving all my issues. I absolutely highly to recommend Darryl to everyone. It would be crazy to use anyone else.

Darryl Forrest came out to my home approximately two weeks ago to determine if I had wildlife in my attic. After a very brief inspection, he determined no animals were above and charged me a fee. A few days later, after continuing to hear thumping and banging noises above, I contacted two other wildlife rescue companies. YES, I have squirrels in my attic. The latter two companies did a much more thorough inspection and showed me photos of squirrel activity in my attic at no charge. I hired one. Mr. Forrest, if you would like to contact me to refund the inspection fee you charged me, I would be most appreciative; it would also raise my confidence in your services and ratings in areas of "Professionalism" and "Price."

"There was no evidence of squirrels when I inspected. The fee I charged you was $20.00, but I am surprised that you give me an F for professionalism & then told me you would change your review if I refund the 20.00. I would rather stand on my reputation that you did not have animals when I evaluated you home. I did see openings but you stated you did not want me to seal up that you would handle it from here. After noticing scratching noises in our ceiling several times, we called Darryl and he came over within an hour. He got in the attic and did an evaluation, and between us we found out that they were entering the attic through the ridge vent end which was not capped. He came back the next day, closed off the entry points and foamed other areas where they might attempt to get in, and set 4 traps outside by the oak trees. Every time we caught a squirrel, we notified him and he came right over and transported them to a different location far away from our house. He did have to open the soffitt for a couple of days to get the last one out, and then closed it up. We have had no problems since. Darryl goes about his work professionally, quickly, and he is always friendly, positive, and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone experiencing animal problems. His no kill policy is a very good thing also. He always showed up when he said he would and is extremely reliable. Thanks Darryl!

He set up 8 large traps around the yard and over the course of 3 to 4 weeks he caught around 10 animals. Unfortunately more of them were opossums than armadillos, but he did get rid of 4 armadillos and the digging has stopped. He is very thorough and wants to please the customer. The price seemed reasonable for the amount of time he put into the work.

Mr. Forrest did an outstanding job for our family. He’s a knowledgeable, compassionate, service-oriented problem solver with a true affinity for animals. After completing an onsite assessment, Darryl Forrest encouraged an older family member to take time to weigh his proposal before deciding even after the person told him to proceed. He demonstrated true professionalism and expertise in his intervention, relocation, and home protection measures. He caught a raccoon, an opossum, and an armadillo on the premises, and relocated all three. He also made sure all of soffits were in place securely. He’s personable and friendly, he explains things well, and he is very responsive. It’s very clear he loves what he does.

The possums went. The guys trapped them alive and kept coming back until they were sure they got them all. Then they sealed up the space so the critters couldn't come back. Very professional crew. Great job.

Mr Forrest did a wonderful job. He responded immediately, was very professional and courteous. In addition I felt confident that the animals would be treated humanely. You could tell he had a genuine love and concern for the animals which meant a great deal to us. He even left the traps in place an additional week at no charge to make sure we got everybody. I hope we don't need his services anytime soon but would not hesitate to hire him again.

Darryl is the ONLY animal removal service in the area that even seemed responsive or even interested on the phone. The others were so-so, "we will see when we can come out some time next week" Darryl came right out. He evaluated a squirrel problem, they were getting in between two layers of roof. He found the trails, and entrances, developed a trapping plan.Put the plan into effect and started catching the varmints! He even managed to catch a few by hand with a net! He helped me develop a plan for closing off the entrance they were using, and when to do it based on the results of trapping. After he got all 15 squirrels in five days, we closed off the holes and no more problem. I recommended him to my neighbor, who had a raccoon issue under his home. He hired Daryl, and the **** was gone in 24 hours. Dependable, prompt, responsive, educated,AND a veteran owned and operated business !!!,

We had used Darryl's AFFORDABLE WILDLIFE CONTROL services in January 2014. I was not able to locate him for issues we had with a colony of Racoons in our attic, back in November 2015. Wish I had been able to locate Darryl in November 2015 for my attic activity ? read past my GREAT review on Darryl to see why.
Went back to Angie's List April 8th, YAY!, Darryl's AFFORDABLE WILDLIFE CONTROL showed up in my search!!!! Darryl called me back & came to my house THAT DAY. Darryl was his usual positive, informative self, which I just LOVE since I am a wildlife lover; too (just don't want them inside the house with me). He gave me a VERY reasonable cost for 5 nights of trapping in my back yard, near the points where they were accessing my roof. Darryl does NOT trap on the ROOF, like Evan @ A+ does. This put my heart to rest, because while A+ trapped on my roof last year, they would take until the next day to retrieve the poor animal that spent hours in the in the night frightened, then in the Sun with no water/food.
Even though, for some strange reason, the Racoons never showed up again once the traps were set - after 7 weeks of listening to them play Romper Room on my back roof - and we didn't catch the little buggers, we did catch a newly abandoned juvenile kitty, who I released. I hope they show up again for me to take in - they didn't want anything to do with me that day! I contacted Darryl, told him nothing but a poor young kitty was caught, take the traps back. He was nice enough to leave us with a 2 DAY CREDIT for trapping 4 days into the deal. We can call anytime & have this done using our credit.
We used A+ Animal Solutions in November 2015 for the Racoons, who submitted a higher cost to our insurance (to remove feces, insulation, blow in micro-antibacterial & new insulation, to "critter-proof" all entry points on roof) so the ins. would pay what they really wanted which was $5,170.44 ? saying we would not be responsible for the balance, after our deposit. Evan was our tech. We then were billed $65/mo. for prevention of any intrusion/activity there-after.
We called A+/Evan in February 2016 about THIS issue because we had a contract with A+. We made several other calls, too, over the next 7 weeks, for new activity on the roof. It took him until March 28th to get back to us, then telling us they no longer provided the monthly service. Asked when this started, we are still being charged, he said it started in March - BUT WE started calling in February, right? They credited out credit card for March, but told us via e-mail we would have to pay for them to come out this time, even though we were covered (and paid for) in February, when we originally called.
Calls into April 4th were not returned. Their answering service seemed to not be surprised when I told them of my frustration, suggested my message go to the other 2 men in the company - my surprise, neither of them called me! Darryl does NOT trap on the ROOF, like Evan does. This put my heart to rest, because while A+ trapped on my roof, he would take until the next morning/afternoon to retrieve the poor animal that spent up to 12+ hours in the Sun with no water/food.
Darryl is such a good person, we spoke at length about our concerns for wildlife (I've researched Florida's wildlife extensively) & I told him of my concerns that a poor trapped animal was left on my roof overnight into the next day. We both hope the FWC regains their authority over trappers in the near future so we have someone knowledgeable to report these types of issues to.
I will use Darryl's company, AFFORDABLE WILDLIFE CONTROL, only in the future. I am so glad he moved back into our area.

Darryl came out and went above and beyond any inspection I anticipated! He lifted every piece of furniture to look under, every cushion, inside every planter, under tables and even inside the planters that were outside the screened porch! He did locate a problem on one of the doors (bug sweep was broken) and explained how to do the repair. I'm not very handy so I told him I would contact a "handyman". He told me what I should expect to be charged and if anyone quoted higher then I could contact him and he would be happy to fix it for me at the price he thought it should cost. He gave me quotes on what it will cost IF I did need him to remove a snake in the future and also told me if it is a venomous snake there would be NO CHARGE!!! Even though he told me over the phone the inspection today would be "no charge", I offered to pay him as he did so much work and spent so much time educating me about snakes but he refused to accept anything. He was a wealth of information and truly cares for his clients but also the animals! As much as I am terrified by snakes, I wouldn't want to kill them. The company my bug service referred me to, offered to come out and "inspect", place snake traps out for a period of two weeks and periodically check them and also place a snake repellant around the perimeter all for $249.00! When I asked how they trap a snake he told me the traps are "glue strips"?? I said what about squirrels or other creatures, couldn't they too get caught in the trap, he replied yes!!! However, worse than that, anything that gets caught, dies a horrible death!!!!!!! I wouldn't want to harm ANY animal. I only wanted to keep them OUTSIDE. This is why I went to Angie's list and thankfully found Darryl Forrest. I have already given his name and number to all my neighbors as we live on a lake and have all kinds of wildlife that sometimes can gain entry into areas we prefer not. I told Mr. Forrest he is on my speed dial! Thank you again for all u did Darryl!

We were hearing scurrying about sounds in our ceiling, so did our cats. We wanted to make sure we contacted someone who was willing to work with relocating whatever it was instead of killing it - like the show "Billy the Exterminator". He helped us locate where the whatever-it-was was entering our attic and gave us great advice on how to handle the situation. For the amount of time he spent with us and the knowledge he gave us, we feel we got our money's worth. Darryl really knows his stuff, he showed us a trail where deer are walking through our yard which was very cool. If we ever need any help in the future we will most certainly contact Darryl. We found the entire experience to be informative and extremely helpful. I don't normally spend the time to write reviews, but in light of the overwhelmingly positive experience with Mr. Darryl Forrest and his company, I decided to take the time to let others know what a pleasant businessman and human being he is.
After hearing scratching noises in my attic, I searched Angie's List for animal trappers. Gravitating to the ones with the better reviews, I called Critter Control first. They told me they couldn't come out this weekend. I then called All Star Animal Control and the receptionist told me someone would call me back; no one did. Running out of options for local trappers, I called Affordable Wildlife Control. I did so hesitantly, because it didn't have a perfect rating on Angie's. Nonetheless, since I really wanted to get my wildlife problem taken care of immediately, I called and was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Forrest told me that he would be able to come the next day, on the weekend. I was very candid when I told him of my hesitation to hire him given that he did not have an "A" rating. He proceeded to tell me that this was due to a single negative review and after explaining his side of the story (which sounded reasonable) offered to come out to my property with the guarantee that if I was not satisfied with his services there would not be a charge. All throughout the conversation he remained polite, respectful and helpful. And once he told me he was a military veteran, I decided to give him a chance. I am now very glad I did.
Mr. Forrest was punctual and remained every bit as polite and helpful as when we first spoke. Add to it a tremendous knowledge base about his trade and you have a consummate professional. He spent over two hours inspecting my house and only charged $55.00 (I offered to pay more but he declined). He explained every option I had, the associated costs, and the benefits and drawbacks of each of them. In the end, I chose his suggestion to do it myself and he then provided me with the bait and materials to get it done -at no cost! I wondered why a businessman would suggest solutions that would net him no profit and can only conclude that it is because he is an honorable human being, a fact that was reinforced when we made small talk after he finished his job. I learned that besides having served our country in the military during wartime, he volunteers his time trapping injured animals for Bush's Wildlife Sanctuary, a local wildlife rescue organization. He also volunteers his trapping services for many, many, local law enforcement agencies. I commend him for his volunteerism and as an animal lover, I applaud his no-kill, humane approach to trap, relocate and release problem wildlife.
As to the single negative review for this company in this review thread, all I can say is that my experience today was the polar opposite and that it couldn't have gone any better. Next time you need an animal trapper, you'll be doing yourself a favor if you call Darryl and his company first.

It went great. He came to my house on a Sunday, very quickly. He took care of the problem professionally and was very friendly. There was no property damage even though the snake was in a really hard to reach place. I picked this company partially because he was humane with his treatment of the captured animals, and released them into the bush. About 30 minutes after he left, he texted me to let me know the snake was released into the wild safely. All around amazing service. I hope I don't need his services again, but if I do, I'll be sure to call him! Thanks so much!

I had head the patter of little feet above the ceiling for several days, and my husband had seen squirrels jumping from a palm tree onto our roof. He swore there was a dead animal in the attic -- that he could smell it (I couldn't). He found Affordable Wildlife Control on the Internet, and liked the information there, so he asked me to call. I did, and Darryl came out the same day, after responding to an emergency "snake in the kitchen" call elsewhere.
He said he had also responded to several raccoon calls in my neighborhood.
He went up into my hot attic (it was 90+ degrees that day) and made a thorough search, especially in the back of the house where I had heard footsteps. He found no critters, dead or alive, but did find some animal feces. Eeeew! He said he couldn't tell how old they were so he sprayed a bio spray to neutralize them, just in case.
He said he had worked for other companies in the past (he owns his own company now for just this reason) that would have pushed a homeowner in my situation (no dead animals found nor evidence of any recent critter infestation) to buy an expensive package of treatments costing $1,000 and up -- and who would argue? The very thought of rats or or squirrels or raccoons or any creature in your attic is enough to make you want to do everything possible to get rid of them. Even when you don't need to...
He said he didn't think any further action was needed. He charged me $180 for searching the attic and the roof and nearby area, and $20 for the bio spray. He said if I needed to call him back (if I found evidence of animals or thought I heard something up there) he would waive the service call fee if he needed to come back.
But he was right: We haven't seen or heard any more creatures.
He said he had also responded to several raccoon calls in my neighborhood.
He went up into my hot attic (it was 90+ degrees that day) and made a thorough search, especially in the back of the house where I had heard footsteps. He found no critters, dead or alive, but did find some animal feces. Eeeew! He said he couldn't tell how old they were so he sprayed a bio spray to neutralize them, just in case.
He said he had worked for other companies in the past (he owns his own company now for just this reason) that would have pushed a homeowner in my situation (no dead animals found nor evidence of any recent critter infestation) to buy an expensive package of treatments costing $1,000 and up -- and who would argue? The very thought of rats or or squirrels or raccoons or any creature in your attic is enough to make you want to do everything possible to get rid of them. Even when you don't need to...
He said he didn't think any further action was needed. He charged me $180 for searching the attic and the roof and nearby area, and $20 for the bio spray. He said if I needed to call him back (if I found evidence of animals or thought I heard something up there) he would waive the service call fee if he needed to come back.
But he was right: We haven't seen or heard any more creatures.
