Sam'S Movers

Description of Work: The movers brought a second moving truck which saved time and money. They disassembled and reassembled bedroom sets and were very quick and efficient throughout the entire move.

Description of Work: I called Sam for the second move into my new home on a Saturday. He cheerfully set up two movers to work with me on the following Friday. Excellent business service and very pleasant experience.

Description of Work: The two men for our move arrived during the window of time that was confirmed by phone a couple days before. They got right to work and never stopped. They kept a good pace and had to move some heavy furniture from a second floor. After a couple hours, I was concerned about the time and mentioned that I wanted to make sure all the large items /furniture got on the truck and if we had to move boxes ourselves I would in order to stay in the time frame I budgeted for. The guy reassured me and said, "we try to leave nothing behind.". It took almost three hours to load and I was really nervous as the clock kept ticking. They were not able to get everything on the truck (it took me three car loads to finish the move) but all the bulk made it on. The guys also did not dog it on the way to the new home since they got there in a reasonable amount of travel time. I was VERY happy that they seemed to make up the loading time in the unload. The guys had the truck empty in just over half hour. WHEW. Including furniture reassembled and items put where we asked. I would have liked a little more care (wrapping with blankets) with the wood furniture items as I have noticed several scratches and nicks, but nothing was broken or missing. I was grateful for the quick unload which helped to keep the whole thing within my budget. I also thought the two guys were very friendly and courteous. I wished I had remembered to save more bottled water or soda before packing to offer to them, but at least I had a couple cans of sprite. We made sure to give a tip because they really were pretty cool guys who worked fast and tried to do a complete job. Happy Customer.

Description of Work: They were amazing because we kind of had to move at the last minute. Literally, I gave him a day's notice, and he was able to accommodate us, even where other Angie's List companies could not. He sent an extra guy out that he did not charge me for. We lived on the third floor of a condo unit, and they moved us into a 2 story home. His guys didn't stop. They worked so hard and didn't take a break.

Description of Work: I needed a very large and heavy projection tv removed from our home for disposal. I called Sam and he scheduled the pick-up for the next day at 5:00 pm; the movers called at noon and arrived five minutes later. The moving crew of three guys wrapped the tv in a moving quilt and then shrinked-wrapped the tv so it would not damage the walls during the move. The crew took their time and moved very slowly so as to not damage anything in the house. They completed the job in about half an hour and were very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the service and would hire them again.
