Redman Fence

I called to schedule an appt. to come out and give me an estimate for fence repair. I had a time crunch and set up an appt. for the following week, Tuesday a.m. On Tuesday morning, I called to see awhat time they might arrive and he (owner) informed me he had been in my area and came by the previous Saturday, however, I was not home. He did not call me to tell me of the change so I got someone else to do the repair.

Terry Redman came out to give me an estimate. He measured the fence lines, then he told me about the fence, how it was made, why it was strong. He spent all the time I needed to fully understand how the fence would be installed, who would contact me for final measurement and date the job would begin. His associates arrived and did the measuring and later returned for the install. I was very pleased with the Redman Fence Company, the product and the personnel. I asked them to place a name plate on the fence because I knew many of my neighbors would want to know who did the fence!!

That was the biggest project we had done and was several thousand dollars. It was probably close to $4000 on that work. They do a lot of fencing, exterior outbuildings like our shed, gazebos, and porches we guess. We have a fence on the other side, so we would at least get a bid from them for the fence.

Picked Redman Fence from Angies List beacuse of excellent reports. Owner Terry called back the same day and sheduled an appointment for the next day between 5 and 6 pm. He was on time and gave one fo the best presentations I've experienced. His estimate was right on what I had researched but what sold me was he did not expect payment until the job was finished and I was satisfied. His reasoning was that it gave him incentive to finish on time and to the customer's satisfiaction. He explained in detail exactly what I would be getting and left me with a good feeling. Although I said I wanted to get other estimates I called him back in 10 minutes and said I don't think I can do any better. His team of Tim and Dave arrived on time a few days later and promised to finish in two days which they did. Redman Fencing's professionalism, courtesy, quality work and willingness to accompany several changes with fair costs is representative of the kind of contractor we all wish for but seldom get. The service was excellent. They were very professional. He came over with a video, so you knew exactly what you are getting. The price estimate he quoted was what the price turned out to be. The crew was very nice. The work was done in day and a half.

Terry, the owner, was able to set up an appointment promptly which he later confirmed with a phone call just prior to his visit. He was a few minutes early for the appointment, which was nice. He walked the property with me and made measurements while asking questions about what we wanted. He came inside our home and showed us a very informative video presentation about his product and gave specific details of how he could build the fence we needed. He described the high quality of the materials and what makes them last longer than some of the more commonly used materials. He went through the costs in detail before leaving an estimate. I choose this company based on the professional experience during that visit along with his previous Angie's List high ratings. I had to wait several weeks for an approval from my Home Owners Assc. before moving forward. With the approval I called to ask him to come back so we could revisit my requests and also meet with a neighbor who had an ajoining portion of fence. He was glad to return, and again was just a few minutes early. Once we discussed what we needed, we set an appointment to begin work. The leader of the 3 man team, to building our fence called the next day to confirm and schedule our date and time. Again, everyone following through ontime or early just as they said. The team showed as promised, on time. They waited until mid to late morning to remove the old fence, which was considerate to us and the neighbors, as it was a bit loud at times. They did the loud part of the job quickly and spent the rest of that day cleaning out the old materials and setting the new posts in place for their return to finish out the job the next day. They worked really hard and were careful around the yard and always asked when they needed to use the water or power supply from my house. A few times my young son was around watching, and they were very polite and respectful especially with their language. They came back the next day on time and did a very good job. The finished fence was beautiful and I was very pleased with the final product. They made sure I was happy and in the end and I was glad I chose Redman Fence. Every person I spoke with from the owner on down did what they said they would, and they were quick in their responses (email or phone call), and arrivals were on time or early. I would highly recommend Redman Fence to someone else.

Three sides of our wood fence had been replaced at different times and for whatever reason the gate was not. Called Redman Fence and Terry, the owner, called me. He came over the same day, gave us all the information needed and a price. The price was $295.00, but he was also giving a $50 gift card to Carrabba's or an associated restaurant. The work was done within a few days by William who is the senior installer. The gate is now pool compliant....looks and works great. Terry is very professional and takes his business very serious. Even though this was just a small job he handled it with the same care he would have given something much larger. I am very impressed with the company and would not hesitate to use them again. You can be assured that if anything is wrong, they will handle any situation with expertise and timeliness.

They came out and removed the old fence and all the old post that were cemented in the ground. The old back fence was buried under two extra feet of dirt that they had to dig through to remove the old posts. They installed a new fence, board on board around our home with one gate. They did a great job with the new fence. They had some extra work putting up the new back fence because it is over two feet higher than the sides and worked it perfectly down to the side fence. They worked with me on all the details that I wanted for the fence. The fence is thick and has a great warranty. We paid a little extra but the quality will last for the time we own our home. I would use them again. Every time we have company over they all ask about our fence and comment on how great it looks and how sturdy it is.

After just moving into our new home we needed to put up a fence for our very rambunctious dog quickly but were low on funds. After searching Angie?s List and a few other resources, I contacted Redman Fencing just to get an idea of what the poly vinyal fencing required by our HOA would cost. Terry come out the night I called him and gave us an amazing presentation and a great quote. Though I was apprehensive about using the poly vinyal because so many of them looked offal in our neighborhood, Terry ensured me that he used only the best supplier?s product and installation methods to do his fencing; plus we would have a 5 year installation warrantee and a 5 year product warrantee should something happen. We thought that it would take us weeks to get the approval from our HOA to build the fence but Terry took the plans up to the club house himself and got the approval that day. He was also able to offer us finance options, so we were able to get the fence done sooner rather than later. The installers were very professional and efficient in getting the fence up in 2 days! We are very satisfied with the job!

I had an urgent need to replace the existing fence, which wasn't that old but had suffered some damage and had been improperly put up by me three years ago. A good friend of mine recommended Redman, and I'm really glad I decided to go with them. The estimate process was very informative, with lots of visuals and all available options very clearly described. I decided exactly what I wanted, and construction began a week or so later. From Terry (the owner, and he does the on site estimate himself) to the guys who actually put the fence up - their experience really shows, and they can handle any unusual circumstances that might be a part of the job. The fence itself is solid as a rock and looks great. Thanks, guys !

I contacted Redman Fencing for an estimate to fence my back yard. Mr Redman was personable, professional and attentive to my questions and concerns. His presentation SHINED! He gave me the estimate right then. I still had 2 other appointments for estimates, one from a "big Box Store" and another independant company. I took those appointments, but was sure I would be choosing Redman Fenceing based purely on presentation. While money is an issue for me, I was so impressed that the other bidders would have to be to good to be true to beat this. Yet, Redman came in with the lowest bid. The fence installers were equally as impressive. On time polite, efficient and friendly. All in all this company derserves it's own catagory. They get a 10 star rating from this extremely pleased client. I will recommend them to everyone!

The work was completed in three days and I am very pleased with the workmanship (so is my neighbor!). Terry responded to my inquiry even though I live in Pinellas County purely because I am an Angie's List subscriber (if that's not a reason to join I don't know what is!). Most of his customers are in Hillsborough and Pasco but I am very grateful he sent his crew my way. Rob and Sam were polite, courteous, professional and hardworking. And Terry was honest and knowledgeable. He could have easily sold me on replacing the 72' length of fence but instead suggested that the fence could be repaired and reinforced which saved me a lot of money. I would not only recommend Redman Fence but will certainly look no further if I have other tasks that demand precise and professional workmanship.

Terry (the owner) showed up for the initial meeting with an iPad and a professional sales presentation. He took extra effort and time to make sure we understood the details of warranties and to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed for our yard. The workers were timely and professional. They showed up and even started working that day! They completed work quickly and even pointed out the fact that we had an issue with our A/C unit. That was greatly appreciated and we trust Redman completely for any fencing needs. I highly recommend Terry and his crews!

It went well. Started a little late because of bad weather but worked late the following day to finish. At our request set up one section that could be removed more easily to allow access to back yard from alley. Fence is very straight and level. Very pleased with quality of gate which includes a key lock.

It was a good experience. The guy came off as a neat freak. Everything he had was perfectly clean and neat. He was as good as you get in terms of presentation and in terms of accommodating us and answering our questions. My impression was very positive.

They told us they only work with wood fencing.

Shortly after purchasing our new Lennar home, we decided to fence in our yard. I immediately called friends, co workers and reading reviews to find the best quality product for the dollar. While doing this, I noticed many homes that had beautiful poly vinyl fences. I began asking my new neighbors who had completed their fencing and they all informed me that Terry Redman fencing was the company. I promptly contacted the company and was pleasantly surprised to speak to the owner, Terry Redman. Terry gave me some initial information over the phone however; we ultimately set up an in home consultation so that he may provide me with additional info that was much more helpful in making my decision. The day of the consultation Terry was prompt and very well prepared. I had several estimates, print outs from the internet and a list of questions I had for him. Being in law enforcement, I feel I am no pushover and was ready to make Terry prove to me that he had the best product for the buck. By the end of our session not only was I convinced that I had just purchased the best product for my money but, I learned quite a bit more that I didn't discover from my research. I had several important factors that contributed to the final decision of our fence: deed restrictions, pets (dogs), child, functionality, aesthetics, and that ever so important final price tag. He also made the process easier by contacting the home owners association and working out the details of the new addition. Terry not only guaranteed his product but did so for the lifetime of the product in writing. He also beat any other estimate that I had received either in writing or via the internet by well over $1500 not just $100 or so. Then when installation time came, it was very fast and efficient. The installers were very nice and even kept disruption to our lives down to a minimum as we worked nights. When the job was complete, the installers provided us with detailed instructions on care and upkeep of our new fence. We also received several follow up calls making sure that we were not having any issues and were happy with our new fence. I am not one to give out praise easily however; I do know when to give it when it is due. I would highly recommend Terry Redman fencing. Thank you Terry for a job well done!

Redman Fence was fantastic to work with for building our gazebo. Terry answered all of our questions, gave us a quote and delivered. Tim was punctual, courteous and took a lot of pride in his work. The quality of the gazebo is second to none. The material quality is high as well as the craftsmanship. Tim went above and beyond in the cleanup effort after the project was complete. We were so impressed with the finished product that we had them replace part of an old privacy fence with a new one which came out equally nice as well. We're extremely satisfied with Redman, would gladly do business with them again and would highly recommend them.

Overall experience was great. Terry made a good first impression when he came out to do our estimate. He is very professional and organized. The two guys that installed our fence were good. They even moved a couple of sprinklers that were outside the fence and washed the fence before they left. The fence and hardware are excellent quality.

The experience overall was excellent. Terry came to my house on a Saturday afternoon and showed me all the things to consider for my fence and described in detail what would be installed. He was very professional and helped me to understand what I should consider for my fence. A week or so later his crew came to install the fence. The work was completed in less than two days and I have a very nice, great looking fence surrounding my back yard. Great work.

I have used them twice and will call them again when my existing wood fence needs to be replaced with vinyl. After my first fence, I began to notice the subtle (and not so subtle) differences between their product and workmanship compared to others. There are no brackets, each piece is put together individually allowing for any slope in the fence to be very gradual, and the gates have an automatic closer and keyed lock. Terry really knows his product and will give you expert advice as to what will ultimately look best for your home and your neighborhood. The installers are great too. I have three dogs and they accommodated my needs during the first install to have the yard secured at the end of each workday. They also considered gaps at the bottom of the fence and filled any with leftover dirt from the post holes. Excellent, excellent company to deal with.

This was, honestly, one of the best experiences we've had with any contractor. Terry Redman (owner) met with us and spent a lot of time with us while we were deciding how much and what style fence we wanted at our home. Mr Redman was patient with us and he offered several options based on his experience. We made the decision that day, paid a deposit and left the rest to Redmen Fence. Mr Redman took care of both HOA and county permits, which was a definite stress reliever and timesaver for us. The material was ordered and delivered in record time. The installers were professional, tidy and very courteous. These are men who work directly for Redman Fence and have been with the company for many years. They are perfectionists who took extra time to ensure the fence was installed properly, that it was solid and that it was level. We are more than satisfied with our fence. We recommended Mr Redman to a close friend who is very happy with the installation of her fence. Our son has also decided to use this same company as soon as his new home is completed. One final note... Prior to calling Mr. Redman to our home for an estimate, we drove through several neighborhoods to look at fences. We kept noticing an obvious difference with the workmanship of the Redman fences.....they are simply a cut above.

We hired Redman Fence to fence in our yard in October of 20010. After interviewing 6 different companies, we found Redman Fence to offer the best quality and price. Mr. Redman spent a good deal of time explaining the product and proces, answering all of our questions and issues. The fence was installed in 3 days due to the size of the fence. The workers were courteous and did a great job in the construction of the fence. They worked long hours and always cleaned up each and every day. I would highly recommend Redman Fence to all for consideration.

This process went very well from start to finish. Terry Redman was quick to respond and his Foreman, Tim and the crew were prompt, polite and professional. Terry provided an education on fencing and the extra efforts that his company does to make certain the fence is strong and long lasting. I had wood fencing installed by another company many years ago and quality of workmanship and appearance of Redman's fencing is far better than what I had previously. Terry Redman's team made an extra effort to make certain our dogs could not go under the fence by adding some wood on the front side which is something we didn't even request. When you find a contractor that is looking out for your best interests even when you are not watching them; you know that you have good contractor. Hang on to their phone number and refer them to friends. These folks are a pleasure to deal with and we hope to have them back to do additional work in the future.

Terry provided us with a professional estimate with clear indication what was and what wasn't included. We also ask for additional options (what if we also replaced our neighbors fence that has been badly neglected?). The estimated clearly spelled out these options and the additional cost they'd incur. After we had cleared whether we needed any permits, Terry's foreman came by within a few days to inspect the site. To do so, he accommodated our busy work schedule by stopping by in the evening. His work crew came the next day and completed the entire job within 1.5 days. In the process, they were kind enough to cut back some overgrown bushes and a tree that encroached on the fence. They put up a shadow-box fence with two very sturdy access gates (three hinges, easy locking mechanisms). Finally, I had asked Terry for advice on how to stain the fence. He provided me with detailed instructions and recommended products to get the job done. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I would most definitely hire his company again for any future fence jobs on our property.
