Redman Fence

I decided to put a new white vinyl privacy fence on the portion of my lot facing a busy street and the fenceline facing outwards from my backyard. Redman fence was the second of the three companies that came in to quote me and was lauded by the next company who I met with ("Terry does really good work"). Terry's overview of product and services offered was very professional and well developed. He was prompt in returning phone calls, getting my install set up, and making sure he was part of the process when it came time to complete the work. The install went as smoothly as possible when you have two days of torrential rain causing interference. Once the work was complete I was truly amazed at the quality of the installation; the individuals at Redman Fence know what they are doing. They are true professionals who care about the customer and quality of their work. Foot note: Terry and his installer were not pleased with the way a certain section of the fence came out. I had decided, on Terry's recommendation, to go with a curved transition section from 4' to 6'. We stuck with the standard stair-step transition from 3' to 4'. The install team did not like the way the transition from 3' to 4' looked, contacted Terry, and had him come out to take a look. Terry and I talked it over and decided to put a 3' to 4' curved transition section to complete the look. It made all the difference and really looks great! He did this with no charge or time spent on my part. UPDATE: Terry Redman is a joy to work with! The second time around was even smoother.

Mr. Redman gave a professional overview of the entire project from start to finish. He explained the specific details in regards to the city code due important in the installation of a shadowbox fence around a swimming pool. Prior to the beginning of the project, a company representative came to the house to conduct a "walk-thru". During the walk-thru, we discussed other material issues regarding our project. We are very happy with the end product and I would highly recommend Redman Fence or have them perform additional projects in the future.

We were thrilled with the work Redman Fence did at our home in Trinity. My wife and I were very particular about the contractor we were going to hire for our fence installation because I work in an industry filled with contractors, and there are more out there doing bad work than there are doing quality work. Let me just say that Redman Fence was a breath of fresh air and restored my faith in contractors in Florida. Several fence companies pitched us, but Redman Fence's presentation was professional and outstanding. We knew Redman Fence was going to do a great job on our home in Trinity because my parents hired them to install their fence in Wesley Chapel first. My parents were thrilled with the results. Redman Fence was also recommended to us by our friends in New Port Richey. The fence project was just completed on our home in Trinity, and it looks great! We had high expectations because of Redman's reputation and their initial presentation, but we can honestly say that the fence project on our home in Trinity looks fantastic and we are not disappointed. The pre-construction meeting was very helpful. Redman's employees obviously take great pride in their work, and they are also very efficient. Not only was the fence project completed quicker than we expected, but we couldn't even tell Redman Fence had been there after it was done -- the yard was so clean! Not only did Redman Fence do an outstanding job, they were competitively priced as well. Believe me because I called a ton of fence companies and Redman Fence was the one we were most comfortable with in terms of credentials, experience, pricing, workmanship and part warranties, and quality of work and materials. Our home in Trinity presented some challenges for Redman Fence field crews. Our builder didn't lay out the sod properly on our property (and had the wrong property lines established). We didn't know this until Redman's field installation people brought it to our attention. They could have easily assumed that the grass lines were our property lines since we don't have neighbors on either side of us yet, but they didn't. They went the extra mile and checked the underground for the property markers, and then explained how our property lines were originally marked wrong with the grass, and the measures they were going to take to make sure the fence was installed properly. Our builder acknowledged their mistake shortly after Reman discovered it. There are a number of areas that Redman could have taken short cuts on during my fence installation project, but they didn't, and we appreciate that. The day our fence in Trinity was completed, I pulled up in our driveway and was looking at it. Only a few minutes later one of my neighbors walked by and started asking me about the fence in terms of who installed it, etc. He liked it a lot. I told them to call Redman Fence, and upon receiving a courtesy follow-up call from Redman's office today, I learned that my neighbor had in fact called to inquire about hiring Redman Fence. That was good to hear. There are a few other fences in our neighborhood, but I can say with absolute confidence that ours looks the best. We thank Redman Fence for that and everything involved in the process.

Rob was the foreman and Sam was his helper. They were here 5 days in a row, thru rain and the weekend to get the job done. It was a hard job in the hot Florida sun. They were professional, polite and courteous. We had a bit of a faux pa when the electric company did not properly mark the location of the lines. A fence post hole knocked the power out but we were able to get this rectified by calling the power company. This was in no way the fault of Rob or his crew. The lines were clearly not marked properly and there was no way for anyone to even know where they were located. They worked straight thru for long days to get the job done. There were frequent rain and thunderstorms but they persevered to the end. They were great and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends. The crew also measured the exact location of my property lines by locating the pins under the ground. Rob did a precise job taking the fence right to the exact edge of the property line so there will be no disputes with my neighbors. The fence is 6 feet high and we have complete privacy. Plus the fence looks beautiful.

Very well- I received call within several hours of making request for service Mr. Redman came at the appointed time which was within 3-5 days of our talking I asked him about replacing my entire fence since that was the original plan and when we walked the property he advised me that while he was happy to replace the fence, he felt that I could get a few more years of use out of the existing fence. I was surprised that he was recommending something that was less money in his pocket. But we discussed both options, and then I went with the reinforcement of the fence instead. He advised me that the work will likely happen within 30 days and would call when his crew was able to schedule this job. I received a call within 8-10 days for a worker to examine the fence and plan for the work. We scheduled the work for the end of that week and the work was done in one day. there was no mess, they did the work well. the fence looks good, its well reinforced, its straightened up and I saved myself about $5k. Very pleased with the entire experience. Even got f/u call from the office and then Mr. Redman himself to validate I was happy with the results of the job.

The overall experience was great. After we got the estimate and decided to go with Redman Fence, the two-man crew was scheduled and showed up when they said they would and did a great job all the way through untill the project was completed. The guys were very good at what they do. The fence was completed ahead of time, it is very sturdy and makes our yard look bigger than it did before. The guys were very professional organized and neat. In addition to building the fence they also hauled off the old fence. They did a great job cleaning up before they left too. I am very happy with my new fence and would recommend Redman Fence to anyone. They go out of their way to make sure they understand what your looking for in a fence (style, purpose, etc.) They do quality work (the fence is straight and sturdy). They follow up afterward to make sure that they customer is completely satisfied (Mr. Redman actually called himself to make sure my wife and I were happy.. and we are!!!

This company is truly fantastic, and I am very impressed with the work they did! I contacted Redman Fencing based on Angie's List comments. Even though my job was a relatively small one with about 1 foot of fence on either side of a large privacy gate at the front and back of my property only, Terry came out to the house to give me an estimate and a detailed presentation, explaining all of the materials they used, his credentials, etc. He quoted me a time for installation which was about 4 weeks out, explaining that he has only a few teams or so that work for the company, and he uses no sub-contractors for work. I had received one additional quote prior to hiring Redman Fence; Terry's quote was about $200 more expensive, however I felt that the trust that I had in the company based on the high praises sung by Angie's List members, and the higher quality materials used would be worth it. Redman Fence did not disappoint! They called me unexpectedly on a day when another job was cancelled, and completed the work about 5 days later! And the fence & gates are BOMBER. :) I am VERY pleased with this company and will definitely be calling them in the future for any additional work I might need and will also recommend them to friends/family! Terry Redman came out to meet my wife and I to discuss what we wanted with him. Terry took the measurements and came inside and showed us all the options we could choose from. He showed us pictures from completed jobs along with a long list of references. He also showed us his business license and insurance. Out of all the businesses that came out to give us estimates he was the most professional. The installers were very professional and seemed to take pride in their work. They even worked through a rain storm to ensure that our fence was completed in a timely manner. The fence line is straight, even & solid. They kept the fence clean during the install and went over it again after all the fencing was installed. Our yard was left clean & tidy before they left on both days of the install. We are very happy with the job Redman Fence did from the beginning to the end. We would use them again & recommend them to our friends and family.

We would hire this company over and over again.

When we were getting estimates from various fencing companies we found Terry Redman's professionalism, courtesy, and punctuality to be outstanding compared to other companies. One other company that we planned to get an estimate from never showed up, another company cancelled, and a third company came out - gave us a slightly higher price estimate compared to Terry and had a very unprofessional presentation (showed us the fencing material that was thrown in the back of his dirty truck). Terry was right on time for our estimate appointment. He even took his shoes off before entering our home, which I thought was very thoughtful. He walked the yard with us and asked questions to get a better idea of what we wanted and why - and explained other options that we might want to consider. Terry explained everything about fencing in a lot of detail and his multimedia presentation was VERY impressive - I thought his presentation showed how much he values his company and his customer's need to have solid information about their investment. And I was impressed that he was using current technology to market his business. We hired Terry and he completed our HOA application, which was a nice touch. He kept in contact with me regularly and as soon as I informed him that the HOA approved our application he released the order the next day (that was a Thursday). By the following Monday his crew came and had half of the fence up in only 4 hours. The next day a representative from Redman contacted me to check on our satisfaction with the work so far - I was more than pleased at that point in time and had no concerns. The workers completed the job the next day for an approximate completion time of only 10 hrs. His crew was polite and they kept their workspace clean. I felt comfortable having people in my yard doing work. Terry called me the same evening the fence was complete to check on our satisfaction. I was excited about the fence and had nothing but rave reviews for him and expressed that we were more pleased than what we expected. Oh, and I should note that Redman Fencing was one of the company's recommended by our HOA. In regards to the actual product....our fence is BEAUTIFUL and STURDY. The quality and sturdiness is great compared to other fences in my neighborhood that I looked at and shook to check the sturdiness. This is probably due to some of the installation differences in Terry's work compared to other companies (6" v 8" sections, depth of posts, etc.). The almond color is really nice and complements the natural beauty of our conservation lot. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with how much the fence added to the asthetic beauty of our yard, which was already pretty given that we have a conservation pond right behind our lot. The Lincoln Bend is a nice touch and we've received several compliments from our neighbors. I've sent pictures to our family who live in other states and everyone thought the fence was gorgeous and added a lot to our property. I took some pictures and will hopefully be able to figure out how to post them to this review. To sum it up, it is very clear to me that Terry is a very good, honest, respectable, courteous business man who clearly enjoys his job and enjoys providing good customer service and a good product. It was really nice to work with someone who has such high business ethics - you don't see much of that anymore. I would hire him again and would definitely recommend his company to others without reservation.

This was a very difficult review for me to submit. I must start by saying that I was very impressed with the overall level of detail, responsiveness, and professionalism of Redman fence. Terry Redman was very prompt and provided answers to every question that I had. However, shortly after the service began we noticed that our cable, phone, and internet was not working anymore. We went throughout the rest of the day without any service, initially thinking it was just an outage in our area. It wasn't until I was getting ready to leave that night and the guys were wrapping up their work that they mentioned to me that they had accidently severed the Verizon fiber line that provides service to my house. Would've definitely been nice if we were notified of this immediately, that way we could work on getting a repair tech out their asap. Unfortunately, I was able to get my services restored until almost a week later. When the services were finally restored, they placed a temporary line at my house, which then sat on top of the grass for another week until Verizon finally came out to bury the line. I was informed by Terry Redman himself that they do all the necessary paperwork to make sure that this doesn't happen. They have somebody they work with to inspect the property prior to them beginning work. I think my biggest complaint here is that I wasn't even offered any kind of a discount on my service based on the hassle i've been through since installation. I've even spoken to a representative from Redman fence a few times to explain all the hassle that I've been through. Would've been nice if they had offered something to make up for my lost time (even if it was just offering me the diamond plan for free). I also work from home on certain days of the week so this has been a huge problem for me considering I lost my internet also. Anyways, the job was completed (dont see any issues with the fence), although I really haven't had a chance to enjoy it since I've been dealing with the loss of all of my services the past 2 weeks. In response to Terry's comments..... As I mentioned above, Terry was very professional before and after the job was completed. I was not at home all day when the service was being done, which was known because we did the walk through the night before because of me having to work during the day. So, there was no way possible for me to be able to answer a door if I am not home. Both Terry and his crew had my phone # and I never received any phone call related to a cut cable. That is simply all I was saying. This is a fact. As Terry's comments state, I was not informed of this until I returned home from work that night. All in all the fence is great and the quality is great. I have since submitted a complaint to Verizon. Price was rated a C because it was "fair". Was it the cheapest quote I received, no. But it wasn't the highest quote either. Which makes it "fair" in my opinion. Thanks!

The entire job was done with utmost professionalism. The owner came to our house and made an excellent presentation to my wife and me, using the computer for visual details. He took careful mesurements and delivered a proposal in a few days. We were able to make a few changes/additions to our initial contract, and they were perfectly fine with our changing our mind. The installation was done by very careful workmen who took their time to make sure everything was done exactly right. They asked us to look over the project at different intervals to make sure we were happy with the work and to get our input on some of the aesthetic parts of the work. We are extremely happy with the look and the workmanship of the project they did for us.

Terry arrived to my house on time and then gave me a thorough analysis of all issues surrounding my fence. He then put me in contact with one of his workers who will be coming out this week to fix some issues that I had resulting from a poor fence installation by another fence company.

We received a number of estimates from various companies and selected Redman Fence because of the quality of work, reputation and estimate. It wasn't the lowest estimate we received, but we selected it based on the expected quality we would get in our finished fence. Our fence installation was scheduled for three weeks out to allow for time to get materials. The installation began on a Friday and work was still completed that day even while there was a major rainstorm that came through that morning. Work took about four days to complete due to rain. It was great to come home each day and see the progress. The fence was built board by board on site and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. They were also able to accommodate the removal of a small section of fence on one side the yard that we informed was part of our yard by our neighbor after the new fence already installed. Our overall experience with Redman Fence was excellent and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new fence.

Estimate: Terry Redman, the owner, came out to provide the estimate. He was on time and prepared. His presentation was thorough, crisp and compelling. Redman’s proposal process included the use of an IPAD thereby making it easy to view (online) photos of fence materials, actual installations, license information, etc. I have to say that this multi-media approach was both unique and very impressive. Another key deference with Redman’s estimating process, as compared to the other company’s we reviewed, was the extra time he spent educating us on the pros and cons of low, medium and high-end fence material and the range of installations approaches that exist. Terry asked us key questions to better understand our needs so he could provide us with a more tailored fence solution. In the end the final written estimate was simple to understand and outlined everything that was shared during the meeting. Referral: Terry also identified a recent customer (in our subdivision) who had a fence installed so we were able to go over and see both the quality of the material and workmanship. Being able to gather first-hand feedback from a neighbor gave us confidence that Redman Fence would deliver on their promise. Price/Value: Redman’s price was slightly higher (per linear foot) but their overall approach was so professional and thorough that it was worth it to pay a little more. In fact, a key differentiating value from the other companies we reviewed was that Redman worked directly with our HOA to ensure a timely approval. Quality/Responsiveness & Punctuality / Professionalism: William was the lead installer over the course of the 2-day install. His install crew members were Searay and Randy. William came to site in advance to review the details of the install and to layout the fence install lines in accordance with the site survey map. The whole installation process was right on schedule from beginning to end, and the end product was exactly what was promised to us. William and his install crew (Searay and Randy) were professional and thorough and they cleaned up the site after all the work was done. One really nice touch was that the owner, Terry Redman, called before the job started, and at the end of each day to ensure that we were satisfied with the progress of the project. Summary: I would highly recommend Redman Fence to anyone looking to install a quality fence by a first-class company. Not only was his price competitive, but his process, product, service and workmanship was top notch. Terry Redman is the type of small business owner that clearly plans to be in business a long time and equally as important he also plans to have a customer base that is proud to have the “Fence by Redman” sign on their fence. We have received many compliments on our new fence and we are enjoying our backyard with privacy for the first time in 4 years. Thanks Terry !

After the initial email Terry was quick to call and was able to stop by the same day for the estimate. He arrived on time and made a very thorough presentation, going over various aspects of the job and the material. He brought samples of the fencing material and explained the installation process. The presentation was very professional and left me with an excellent impression of the company. Many contractors could take lessons from Terry on how to conduct a sales presentation. After receiving some additional estimates I called Terry back and told him that I would like for him to do the job. He ordered the materials and did not require a large deposit (only $300) prior to the start of the job. Before the materials arrived, Terry communicated with me via email and phone to keep me updated on the process. As soon as the materials came in, the lead installer came by my home to meet with me about the project. They were able to start the next day and got the project completed quickly without impacting our schedule at all. The installers were courteous and professional and did a great job, even after encountering some issues with the ground on my property. The fence looks excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redman Fence for anyone looking for fencing

After receiving quotes from three companies, I contracted with Redman. The price was higher, but I knew when the job was done, it would be done right and I would have a higher quality fence then the other companies could offer. I'm a tech freak and was very impressed when Terry Redman was at our home and pulled out his ipad and showed me the process of building their fences. The crew that did the job was very professional and did a great job. If you need fencing I would highly recommend this company.

Very professional owner, fast responses. Came out day after I called to give a quote. Quote is on the higher end, but you really get what you pay for. Placed order on Tuesday, fence totally installed by Saturday. Came out wonderful.

It went very well from the very first call to the end of the job. I had received quotes from other fence companies but did not really like any of them. I knew after the presentation that Terry gave that I was going with Redman's. I actually emailed him about 30 minutes after he left that I was going with his company. The price was in line with the other estimates but the warranty was a lot better. Terry also presented himself in a very professional manner, which I cannot say the same for the other companies that I received quotes from. My fence borders 4 neighbors yards of which 3 have dogs with doggie dogs. They listened to my concerns about my neighbors with the dogs and started the fence installation with the fence that borders those neighbors first. So those neighbors were only without a back fence for one day. They also listened to my concerns with my small dogs and installed the fence low to the ground so they could not escape. Redman's fence provided excellent customer service from the inital apt, calling to confirm and arriving at time to the end of the job making sure I was satisfied before accepting payment. They were very patient and understanding as I was concerned about the weather - because of course when my fence was scheduled to be installed it rained - and do I mean rain - one day was the day of all those tornadoes. I have received many compliments on my fence. I highly recommend Redmans.

Terry Redman and company were a delight to work with from beginning to end. Terry also was very creative and gave us excellent ideas. He said the fence would enhance our property, and boy did he deliver. Installation by William and others was perfect. Just a case in point. We were missing some keys to the gate and the next day they were delivered by William. We couldn't be happier with the results. Friends and family remark on how good it looks. It is indeed refreshing to work with someone like Redman Fence who are customer oriented and professional. We would recommend them without hesitation. Save some time and just go with them. You can't go wrong.

I was looking for fencing for my property. I received many estimates from companies that did other homes in my neighborhood. I was not pleased with the performance and pricing of those other companies. Right from the beginning, Terry was honest and up front with me. The price fit my budget. I was impressed with his presentation when he came for his initial consultaion. he had photos and all his licenses right there so I could see them. Terry and his workers were punctual from start to finish. Everything that we spoke about came true. There was no hidden fees, and the work that he said would be done was exactly how he described it. His installer William and his crew were very hard workers and they made sure the job was done correct. I also like since they had to use my hose for the concrete they made sure to place it back were they found it and cleaned up all their mess. (those things are important to me). My wife and I love our new fence and I plan on recommending Redman fence to other residents in my neighborhood.

I like the work so well, I asked for Tim and Dave to come back out and enclose my AC unit so it wouldn?t be an eye sore and to help with noise. That work also looks great and adds to the overall good looks of the back yard. We love our new fence, and so does all our neighbors. The attention to detail in every aspect (sales, work, post-sales) is outstanding. I would use them again and personally recommend Redman for any fencing work to everyone I talk to.
