Redman Fence

I recently had Redman Fence build a fence/gate for me and recommended them to my mother. After seeing the quality of work they performed for me, she had Terry come give her an estimate. She was so impressed with him and his product that she decided to use him in lieu of a company she has dealt with for years. She could not be happier and absolutely loves what they did. She no longer worries about the fence coming down and feels so comfortable that she is hanging her orchids on it as we speak! They added a few things to the fence to make it even better for my mom without changing the original quote. The quality of the fence is so superior to the existing fence. I actually am having Terry come out next week do some more work for me. They truly are the very best to work with and their product is like no one else. You will not go wrong by using Redman Fence, you will be glad you did...just like my mom!

The initial phone call to the office was received by friendly, knowledgeable staff, and Terry, the owner and sales representative, called back the same day to set up an appointment to meet. If I recall, he either met us that same day or the very next. He met with us in a consultative manner with very astute recommendations on do's and dont's. He had photos of his work on his iPad as well as videos on the construction of the materials for his fences. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and handed us a quote in a matter of minutes. Equally impressive, he was able to schedule the installation within a couple of weeks, despite the time to prep the materials and despite the fact that we were approaching holiday season and his schedule was full. His workers were prompt, hardworking and never left a mess. They were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable as well. And, what a great job! The fence is as good looking as it is sturdy. The craftmanship is above any wooden fence we've ever seen..... better design and materials from both a functional and an esthetic perspective. We love it and get compliments from customers on it daily. Our architect even asked for the contact information for Redman!

As described, Terry was timely in responding to our call and making an appointment with us. Tim and Dave were timely in starting the project and very professional through to finish. We couldn't have expected this replacement of our old fence to be any better than it was. Everything was completed with professionalism, high quality and on time. We would recommend Redmond Fence to anyone.

Terry Redman provided a very professional, timely, and detailed proposal at my request. The initial idea was to install white vinyl fencing and while Terry did provide an estimate on that, he recommended we use wood fencing to better complement the house and the aesthetics of the neighborhood. I am glad we took his advice as the finished product looks great. After his proposal was accepted, he provided periodic updates when the job would start so I could alert my neighbors with dogs that might run without a fence. The actual start and finish dates were exactly as stated and the technicians were knowledgeable and professional and provided more services than I anticipated. the estimate was very thorough and offered lots of details. the fence was installed about a week later. they showed up on time and went straight to work. the only thing we were asked to provide was an additional access to power in case their equipment tripped the breaker one the primary outlet. after that we didn't even need to be home! they ran the fence right along our property line using the markers buried in the ground (didn't even those existed before!). the fence was built on site that day and the gates were put in the next morning. there was lots of leveling and measuring, it was really kinda fascinating to watch. the work was fast and quiet and very well done. we provided 10% down and paid the rest after the final inspection.

Fence and planter boxes look great. The planter boxes cost more than I expected due to needing wood treated to be under ground. They worked with me on the price and came down a bit from the original price. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous. Very pleased with results. I wish I had them do my deck as well.

They did an overall good job. They didn't use the best quality in products. We did have to fix the gate later. We would use them again in the future.

The work was performed in an excellent manner. We are extremely happy with the materials, workmanship and overall appearance of the fence. I would stronly recommend this company.

Overall, the project went like a dream. From the first contact I had with the office staff to the completion of the fence itself, everything was handled with courtesy and professionalism. Calls were returned promptly, Terry's presentation was done very professionally, materials were ordered promptly and after the pre-construction meeting with William, the work started the next day, immediately after the materials had been picked up. While the construction was ongoing, William and Randy removed all of the sod and dirt and keep the site neat. As the sections of the fence were installed, they were washed as well. So at the completion of the job, I had a beautiful, sparkling white vinyl fence that was solidly and expertly installed in an area that was as neat as when they started work. I could not bee happier and would recommend them to anyone desiring a fence.

My husband called Redman Fence to request an estimate. He was told that Terry Redman (owner) would call within 48 hours to schedule the appointment. Terry called and scheduled. He came out the morning of 1/26/12 and we told him what we wanted. He made a few suggestions and suggested we not make the fence as long as we thought we wanted. He also suggested that we only have one gate instead of two. All of this made sense so we went with his suggestions. Terry gave a great presentation of his company and the product they used. We accepted his estimate later that afternoon and Terry submitted all the paperwork needed for approval from our homeowners' association. He copied me on everything so I would know what was going on. On 1/31/12 I got a call from our Homeowners' Association approving the fence. I emailed Terry and let him know. He had originally told us it would take about 2 weeks before he could do it. We got a call from Robert (installer) that afternoon asking if he could come by that evening and walk the job with us and he would be able to start on 2/1/12. Robert came and told us exactly what to expect and how long it would take. We were not home when they started but arrived home to find all the post in. We got an email from Terry that evening checking to make sure we were pleased so far and telling us what time Robert and the other installer would be out today. They came today and would have finished the job but once they hung the gate they noticed a dent in it and said they would order another one. I probably would not have even noticed the dent but they noticed it and would not allow it. I was very impressed by this. When finished they hosed the fence down and promised to be back tomorrow to hang the gate. Redman Fence takes great pride in their work. Terry just called to apologize for the problems with the gate. Great customer service! I was very impressed with everyone I interacted with and highly recommend them. 2/10/11 Terry called last night and said he had been in the area and seen our fence. He was not pleased with the way the front looked and asked if they could come out today and but in another post. He sent us pictures so we would know what he wanted to do. We said yes and they came out today. I thought it looked good to begin with but now it looks even better.

My wife and I bought a home for our growing family on a busy corner on Davis Island and decided to enclose the yard so our three children would have safe play areas. From the initial meeting with the owner, Terry Redman, to the day the last nail was driven it was clear that everyone working on the job was solely focused on the quality of the workmanship. The result is worth twice what we paid and the attention to detail, polite manner, and efficient installation of Tim and Dave -- the crew on-site -- was beyond any reasonable expectation. Not only was the project finished earlier than projected, the crew was so thorough and explained each step to my wife so she felt a part of the process, too. The final result has not only transformed both our front and back yards, it has added aesthetic value to our home, and created a source of pride. I was reluctant to hire a fence contractor. Looking at our new fence, it is clear that anyone can put up a fence, but no one other than Redman can put up a fence with this quality and durability for such a reasonable price. The hardware that was used is both attractive and sturdy. I foresee many years of enjoyment and look forward to continuing our home improvements with an impeccable start! We are so grateful to our family friend who referred this company. We will definitely be spreading the word that this is the only fence company in Tampa to use.

Terry Redman came to my house and gave me an estimate, which was very reasonable for the amount of fence being installed. Work started about a month after we got the estimate. Tim, Johnny, and Dave performed the installation. Very professional and they did an outstanding job! The work took about a week. We have 3 large dogs so at the end of the day they ensured the the new fence and the old fence were attaached to each other so our dogs could go outside in the evening. I definitely recommend Redman Fence!

We called Redman Fence and the owner, Terry Redaon, came out personally to provide our estimate the very next day. We appreciated the fact that the actual business owner was the one providing the estimate. Mr. Redman simply "wowed" us from start to finish with his professionalism, attention to detail and thoroughness in explaining the process, materials, his company history and experience, references and everything else related to how our fence would be crafted and installed. Mr. Redman spent close to 90 minutes with us, first walking the yard for measurements and listening to our needs and making suggestions. He then sat down with us and went through extreme details on the options and crafting of the fencing. He used a tablet type computer to show us everything from pictures of his company's work to videos of how the special lumber that Redmon Fence uses is produced and why it is superior to other vendors. We also were very happy to hear that Redman has an actual office that you can visit, and that his employees who do the work are actual employees of the company and not subcontractors. This is very important to us. As you can tell, we were extremely impressed by Mr. Redman. We considered cancelling the remainder of our estimate appointments, but went ahead and had one more estimate provided from another vendor. The second vendor spoke very highly of Redman and even stated that we should cancel any remaining appointments as he (the second vendor) and Redman were the best of the best in town. That certainly says something when your competition gives you a compliment like that! The quotes we received from both Redman and the second vendor were literally a few dollars apart. We have chosen to go with Redman Fence although we really liked both of these companies. The deciding factor was simply the quality of the workmanship of Redman Fence's product. Pre-drilling screws instead of nailing the boards, and a few other technical details put Redman on top. We have scheduled to have our fence installed in 2 weeks. Update: The fence has been installed and is absolutely above and beyond what we expected. It is truly gorgeous! We love everything about it, from the way the tops have been cut/shaped to the beautiful hardware used on the gates. The installers were courteous and made sure to ask questions about anything that they were unsure about, as we had an unusual design that included a double gated dog run on the side of the house. The workmanship is just as Terry promised us that it would be - we watched from the lanai from time to time as the fence was being built and everything was just as Terry described when we first had our estimate meeting. The only occupant of the house who isn't quite so happy about the fence is the cat, who can't quite scale the 6 foot gates. ;)

Terry Redman came to my home for an estimate within a few days of our initial phone conversation. I was impressed with his portfolio of work and his ability to understand what I wanted for the custom gate. He had very good suggestions that improved on my original ideas. Before Redman fence, I had an estimate with another fence company and had already given a deposit. I decided that Redman's quality of work ,materials and artistic insight were superior, so much so that I forfeited my deposit with the other company. Terry also helped me get my large iron gate to the sand plaster and coordinated the completion date with them. During this process, Terry was in constant communication with me through emails and phone calls. Tim and Dave came out yesterday and began the work, completing the job this afternoon. It is absolutely beautiful! I could not be happier and have spent the evening gazing at it. It is more than I could of asked for. Tim is a true craftsman and added features to the gate that made it better than I envisioned. Both Tim and Dave were polite and friendly and truly interested in my happiness with the project. I know that I would not have been this pleased if I would of gone with the first company. I am so happy I made the decision to go with Redman Fence and can not wait to have Tim and Dave come back to add more beauty to my yard! Worth every penny!!

The gentleman was punctual, professional, informative....just too expensive.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They prepared the paperwork that we had to submit to our HOA for approval and were very organized and diligent with the whole process. The installer discussed everything with us before starting the job and communicated with us throughout the job. They finished the job quickly and left no mess behind. We even received a call after the job was completed from the office to check in our satisfaction of everything. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

From Start to finish it was a pleasure working with Redman fence. The Team was over promptly every day and worked hard until sundown until the job was done in consecutive days. Redman's crew, William and his helper both have been working at the company for 30 years which I found amazing! They both were Courteous, professional, and a pleasure to be around. Even our 2 golden retrievers loved watching the fence being constructed and the guys on the job played with our dogs and were so nice. After the job was done, Terry Redman personally came over to make sure we were happy with his workmanship and overall experience. We could not be happier and would recommend Redman Fence to anyone who wants the best fence on the block along with an excellent experience!

This is the fourth fence that I've had installed by them. Over the years, at four different houses, I've had excellent service provided and I couldn't have asked for better experiences. We've had the same install crew leader for each project, which dates back to 1993. They offer superior value based on dependability and the guarantee on their work. They followup with any questions or concerns you might have with their work.

I called Redman Fence because they were on Angie's list and we had just moved to Tampa a month before. Terry (the owner) came out promptly and gave me suggestions and an estimate for the fence. He went over it again at his office after business hours so my husband could see the actual fence we would be buying. Terry was very knowledgeable about his products and takes a great deal of pride that a fence he puts his name on reflects his companies workmanship. All the employees that were involved in the installation were professional and a pleasure to have at my home. They worked late one evening to make sure a gate was properly installed because the fence was a piece of the total landscape plan for our front yard. When the fence was finished it looked very good. When the whole front yard was done it looks great!! We're very pleased and the dogs love it!!

They were very efficient. We really got more than we thought we would get. My husband commented on it. He is a handy dandy and we don’t have professionals do anything unless it is beyond his scope and the fence definitely was. He was very impressed with the reinforcement, the hardware that they used. It is very obvious that they used cosmetically attractive hardware. It was more than what we bargained for. They are honest and very efficient. They were not cheap. We could have gone cheaper with other companies but we would not have got what we got. We will definitely use them in the future.

We had a fence installed around our backyard and couldn't be happier with the results. The fence is solid and well-built. We had three gates installed and they are sturdy and open/close easily. The fence simply looks great. We had a fence installed at our last house and this fence puts the other fence to shame. The guys were extremely friendly and took care to ensure that the fence was installed exactly the way we wanted. We would recommend Redman fence without hesitation.

I am thrilled with the results. When I called last week, I thought it would be a couple of weeks before something would happen. It's finished already. My fence will last quite a while longer. I will definitely go back to Redman when I need any repairs and when the time comes to have the fence replaced.
