We have a wood retaining wall with a fence along it that had some severe washout. The fence was starting to fall, the top boards of the retaining wall were curling up and exposing nails, etc. It was in pretty bad shape. Anthony was one of the people we contacted to get an estimate. I knew when I first talked to him that he would likely be the one hired. He's very professional and courteous. He also seemed to be the most knowledgeable about what needed to be done to fix our problem. After reflecting on the people who came to give us estimates, we in fact chose A G Rose. We're very glad we did. The results are wonderful. Anthony listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make sure we got it. As he was finishing up, we got some heavy rains that washed out some of the plants he'd just planted. He came back out (he emailed me to say he was coming out, we didn't have to call him!), evaluated what happened and came to offer a suggestion of adding some small boulders instead, so we went with that. The results look great. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with someone so knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

Gutter work and concrete work was well done, and met expectations. Crew was prompt and polite and pleasant to work with. I was not satisfied with the contouring of the slope or the creation of a berm. I asked two times during the day to remove more soil and create a better pathway for the water. When they finally laid the sod it was not at all like I had expected. They left a portion of a old drain pipe in the ground that I had asked to be removed. I am not confident that the new drainage plan will work in a heavy rain event. Part of the problem appeared to be that they struggled with digging in the clay. It was extremely slow going with the machine they had, probably needed a back hoe or similar excavator to be able to dig effectly in the clay.

Excellent. The crew worked very hard, were on time, cleaned up and were gone.

Got their name from Angie's List so I feel I owe it to let my experience be known. Called, arranged appointment for estimate. They came out as agreed. Nice guy, really liked him and his ideas! Took my email and said I would be emailed an estimate. Gave them about 5 days. I'm pretty patient. Called and left message, no response. The next day I found the guy's work notebook, full of everyone's addresses and info on work needed, in my garage where he put it down. I immediately called to let him know, said I would put it on my front porch so he could pick it up anytime, and again asked about the estimate. Notebook sat there for 4-5 days. Went to the physical location of the business (during work lunch break, or I would have brought the book with me) and relayed this all to owner, who said we would get a call within 24 hours. Never heard anything. So the reason many of you have never heard back is because he never bothered to come get his book! We're in Killearn, so it's not like we're way out of the way...

the job was done as promised EXACTLY!! Need I say more. We are very happy and intend on using them again.

Anthony accomplished everything promised. He was very good at finding out what we wanted and coming up with the perfect design.

After initial contact, and a couple of calls I have not heard back from them.

I spent about $2800. They're reliable, they have good prices and they do good work.

AG Rose removed all decking from one 30 year old deck and one 20 year old deck, replaced damaged framing, and redecked the surfaces using a picture frame design. All old and damaged wood was removed. Job took about one week.

Outstanding - Anthony was great to work with and was very professional throughout the entire process. Easy to reach via phone and email. I got in over my head on a backyard project and Anthony even stepped up and completed that project for me as well. I would highly recommend AG Landscaping to anyone looking for help with there yard.

A day after he finished fixing the drainage system, we had severe rain storms that barreled through our area causing all kinds of flooding problems in the Tallahassee area. I inspected my back yard the next day, and was very happy to see that the drainage system had worked as predicted and I did not see any erosion problems at all and no flooding!! - problem fixed. We are also very please with our new back yard, it looks awesome after he complete the landscape, it required cutting down trees, removing bushes, re-sodding, adding new plants, re-grading etc. Anthony also fixed my sprinkler system and timer. I found Anthony to be very professional, respectful, very organized, knowledgeable, and cleans up the work site after he is done.

It went great. I went to work, came home in the evening and it was done.

We have used this company for several years for a variety of projects. Anthony is very responsible in regards to meeting client needs and making sure that the work is done at a reasonable price and in a professional manner. The owner had several years of experience before starting his own company.

I called on Thursday, Mark came out Friday and I showed him what needed to be done and we discussed some different options to lay down mulch or rock to make a nice pathway on the side of the house. I decided the cost of that would be too much for my current budget and I would stick with the original priorities (fill soil and weed killer). Saturday, two really nice guys came out and I showed them what needed to be done. They were speedy and efficient. An invoice was not sent with them, which you don't see too often these days. I was told a bill would be emailed or mailed to me which is was (emailed) a day or so later. Then on Monday, one of the same guys came out to spray some weed killer on a huge patch of weeds. I would use this company again.

It turned out really well. The price was good. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a good job. He did some extra work. He did what he said he was going to do. He called us back. He came when he said he was going to come. He made sure we were happy with the job before they left. He was supposed to come and he got busy. He ended up a couple of days before he could come out. It wasn't perfect.

Rick, the owner didn't make it the day scheduled, but called me to let me know. He promised me another date, and followed through. The staff was very professional and customer service oriented. I felt comfortable that I was not getting ripped off.Did the work in a short period of time. I was very satisfied. I would use them again for any lawn , irrigation or landscaping work. Very reasonable.

It was so easy to work with Anthony, the owner! He responded to my initial inquiry promptly, and followed up with a site visit and written proposal. His proposal broke down costs by materials and labor. To clarify some of my questions about what the finished project would look like, he emailed me full-color, computer generated images that showed scale, location, and fill materials. I'm happy to say that AG Rose delivered! My trampoline pad looks great and is well-built. Before this project, I had no knowledge of how retaining walls are constructed. Before contacting any companies I did plenty of reading to educate myself on the basics of building retaining walls. I learned that, constructed properly, they can last many, many years. If built without considering drainage needs, appropriate fill, and the right kind of lumber, retaining walls will not last very long. I've seen enough of these around town, with soil and weeds poking through and close to tumbling down, to realize the importance of having the job done right. With all I'd learned about retaining walls came lots of questions! Anthony answered all to my satisfaction, and never made me feel silly or ignorant for asking something that may have been obvious to someone else. When I signed the contract, I was confident the work would be done properly, and for a fair price. Anthony and his crew arrived when he said they would, completed the project within the allotted time, kept the area picked up while they were working, and disposed of every bit of debris when they finished the job. Anthony came out a week later to address some minor areas where the fill had settled, and, 3 months and lots of rain later, there have been no issues with drainage. I also have to mention how impressed I was with the whole crew. The guys were all clean-cut and neatly attired, and there was no cursing, smoking, loud music, or fast-food trash thrown on the ground. The last big yard project I contracted (with a different company), I kept the shades drawn and taped paper over the French doors because the crew was so creepy! Anthony Rose and his crew are extremely professional and I feel perfectly comfortable having them at my home. Without reservation, I highly recommend AG Rose Landscape Construction for quality projects, excellent communications, and fair prices.

Everything went well, did cut one brush that I requested not to be cut. Cleaned up all clipping left yard very neat. went above and beyond in repairing irrigation system. Overall very pleased with the work performed.

Marc's crew arrived on time and trenched the four lines. Rain delayed them from finishing for about an hour.n Once the rain stopped they finished up. Marc came to the house to inspect the work and ask for my approval which I gave. Marc said that if I had any problems to call him and he would send his crew out to fix them.

May Day was fast, did a beautiful job, and offered the best price. I will call them again.

Anthony does meticulous work and his quality is second to none. Although there were delays due to material and permit issues, the work was done as quickly as possible and the finished project is beautiful. He also coordinated very well with other contractors we had working on the project.

There is no way to express how impressed I am with MayDay. I've never encountered a service professional so committed to service. Marc and his team are unique in their field and awesome to work with. Attention to detail. Creative. Hard working. Totally professional. Polite and delightful to have around. The patio, wall, waterfall and newly opened up area of the yard are all beautiful -- our neighbors and friends are effusive in praise. We have never enjoyed our home more than we do now. I can't say enough good about MayDay and their work, follow-up and value.

Overall, we are pleased. The workers arrived promptly on agreed-upon date and completed a majority of the work in one day. However, there were two minor issues that needed resolution after the workers had been gone over a week. Workers came out the same day they were reminded of the finishing work needed. The job was completed as contracted.

Their price seems reasonable, they do a good job, and are very careful with their work.
