Floorida Floors

Description of Work: This provider made me a large area rug. They did an excellent job at a very good price. I plan to use this company again in the future for my flooring needs.

Description of Work: Replace flooring in entire house. Sales and delivery of flooring, went fine. Instillation was subcontracted by the seller. Carpet instillation was fine. We installed the vinyl. Laminate instillation around the fireplace is beautiful. But I had to request that instillation between the kitchen island and wall run the same direction as the rest of the room when a worker cut a single piece that ran the opposite direction. Quarter round was nailed down with a nail gun that did not connect with the baseboard so several pieces were left loose. The nail gun also left lots of marks I had to cover with spackling. Several cuts of quarter round did not match up correctly. If workers used a miter saw instead of a straight table saw they could have done a better job. I had to make several calls to have problems fixed. Although the workers were polite, in general I had the impression that workers were rushed and over tired from long late hours. Moving the washer & dryer back into the laundry left a small gauge in the new laminate.

Description of Work: Vernon, from Floorida Floors, worked patiently with me to select new hardwood floors for the living room and hallway, new tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, and new carpeting in the bedrooms. For the labor involved in laying the different flooring, Vernon worked with me to schedule the dates and times which would best suit my schedule. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. Thanks to Vernon and Floorida Floors for making a daunting effort seem effortless.

Description of Work: Selected on basis of previous Angie's List reviews. Store representatives were helpful. Installation of wood-grain vinyl tile was less than one week later. Installed without a hitch and looks great. Price seemed fine although I didn't spend that much time checking around.

Description of Work: The carpet was ordered and delivered in the time frame indicated by the salesperson. Carpet installation was performed on the date and time scheduled. Because this hallway is L-shaped and has one corner, and one end is near the front entry, we wanted any seams to be done away from the entry way. The installers seamed the carpet exactly where we wanted. Overall, a pretty good experience.
