I am very disappointed with the way Matt Hallo does business. He bid the job, received my first deposit, cashed the check the same day and never come back to check on the work performed by a crew he sent to my home. Matt Hallo contracted with me on January 28, 2015 to install a small concrete extension area to an existing 2 slab patio. In the contract the job is titled ���Phase One���. Plans for a ���Phase Two���, install tile over the entire area, was to follow. The crew installing Phase One on February 9, 2015 did a very poor job. They ran out of cement with less than half of the job poured and had to leave for over 35 minutes to buy more. In the end they still did not have enough cement and were obviously in a hurry to finish up. The problems became very obvious after the job had dried out several days later.The result is 4 edge dips, one low area where water puddles, several ridge areas, 2 holes, rough corners and several wet spots which still haven���t dried in over 2 weeks. The wet spots are in the area where I watched one of the guys pour his trowel water over the stopping point after the first cement batch. Matt Hallo was asked to come and look at the job before proceeding with Phase Two. I was very worried about the integrity of the cement before installing tile. He agreed to come on Feb. 20th. He did not show up as agreed but instead the crew showed up to start work without him there! I stopped them and we got Matt on the phone. I asked where he was and he said he had to go to Phoenix. At this point I said that we were not going any farther. He AGREED TO REFUND the second $400.00 DEPOSIT made on PHASE TWO dated Feb. 9, 2015 and cashed on Feb. 11, 2015. As of today, Feb. 25, 2015 Matt Hallo has not refunded my money. Home Advisors has been notified. I have had an independent contractor inspect the job and I plan to take legal action against Matt Hallo dba ACE Golf Scapes, LLC if I am not refunded the Phase Two deposit money in the very NEAR future, as agreed upon.

Matt was a great person to work with and made sure I was satisfied with the finished project. He's now doing my neighbors project.

matt showed up as agreed with his crew and stayed untill work was completed. very satisfied with the outcome and would recomend this company for landscaping with artificial turf. loogs beautiful.
