SAM'S AUTO REPAIR

I've used them a lot, they were really great. They were affordable, efficient, they get me in and out really quickly and they were very friendly.

While they identified the problem, the installation did not go well. Scraping noise ad wobble became more pronounced. Took it back three times and still no improvement Had to take it to another repair shop to find out the initial installation was faulty and hub was rubbing against rotor.

My niece came into Sarasota to visit for the Labor Day weekend.  Her car air conditioner failed on the trip here.  I looked on Angie's list for a repair center so she would not have to make the trip back to Atlanta with two dogs in the car and no air-conditioning.  Sam's Auto Repair gave us an appointment within 3 hours, and the car was ready two hours after that.  The shop was professional, prompt, fair-priced and friendly.  We were very pleased and highly recommend them.

I called a tow truck from AAA to pick me and my car up. He asked for a tip but I could not afford it. I'm pretty sure that when we got to the shop, he pulled one of the workers to the side to talk about me. They charged me 2 diagnostic fees for a sensor. They put an additive in my oil which I never asked for! They said they thought I needed it. The total cost for the oil change and sensor was $516.17. To my knowledge, it should have been roughly $300. The waiting room is horrible. There are no signs to the restrooms and all they have is a lousy water fountain. There was maybe room for 5 or 6 people. They put no money or effort into making you comfortable while you are waiting. When I mentioned how expensive the bill was, he yelled at me in front of all of the other waiting customers "Get your keys and get out!" He was incredibly rude. I also had to sign three different releases before I even got to the bill and I had no idea what was on those releases because the papers had 4-6 sentences on the top and as soon as I put my signatures on, he ripped the paper away from me and handed me the next one. I was very scared that it was going to escalate further and that in response to me voicing my complaint on the bill and release paper that I was going to get the cops called on me.

Seemed to go well until the next day when a loud grinding noise occured when backing up. I returned to Sam's and they fixed the problem immediately and apologized, assuring me to return anytime with problems. I have used Sam's for several years now and they have always done the job and been courteous and fairly priced. Even with this problem,I will give them another change!

They are excellent. The job was wonderful. They are honest. They tell you what is really wrong with the car and they don't try to have you get more repairs done than you need. It is very fast and courteous service. I went down to have the battery fixed and I had them checked over my car. Somebody else had told me I needed new brakes and they said all I need is brake fluid. I really didn't need new brakes. They saved me a lot of money. The price was very reasonable. The quality of the work was excellent. I use them all the time now. If I have any problems with my car, I am going there.

They found a small leak and recharged my A/C. They credited me for the labor for the last A/C repair.

The Service station was able to get us right in and had the car fixed and ready to go before the end of the day.

Went great overall. I've been hearing noises in the front while driving and trying to find a reliable place to do the work without me taking a day off from work was hard. Found Sam's here and also on AAA approved list so thought I would give them a try. they are about 4-5 miles from work and agreed to drop me off and pick me up. drove my car so they could hear the noises I was hearing, then called me about an hour later with the info and an estimate. They called later letting me know the car was ready but I asked them to wait until I got off work to pick me up. didn't have to lose any time from work. The actual amount came in a little less than the estimate. will definitely be going back for repairs.
