I scheduled on line for service for the next day. The office called me and said they could be there the day i called. That worked better for my schedule. Eric called ahead to tell me he was on his way and he arrived right on time. He went to work right away and was finished in 30 minutes. He replaed the rollers and lubricated all moving parts. Garage door opens and closes smoothly and quietly. Great job.

Precision Door Service was very prompt in coming to my home and giving me full explanation of what had happened to my existing door which would not open. They also gave me replacement options. After deciding on the preferred option, the new door was instaled the following week. This company is very professional and does a top rate job. I am very pleased with the door's look, insulated quality and operation.

Called to set appointment, availability was good. They arrived on schedule, completed work as expected, provided insight into overall condition of opener system and door springs. Would use them again in the future.

They set up the appointment really fast when we called. It was a good price. They were timely and were efficient. The garage doors they brought had great openers. Everything turned out really well.

it went very well. Andrew was on the early side of the 2 hour window, company e-mails you conformation and even name and picture of the tech. he completed the $109 tune up special as well as replacing the springs (which I had planned to do) everything was 15 years old I asked him to check the motor, keypad, and remotes which had stopped working the year before they needed to be replaced . total cost was probably a little high, but Andrew did an excellent job. he worked a total of almost 4 hours, in the hot garage, very professional and neat, cleaned up everything he then took the time to demonstrate everything. he e-mailed me the receipt and the warranty right away I would recommend the company and use them again

We couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done, and we were impressed by the reasonable price and the professional, friendly servicemen. Our technicians, Kevin and Charlie, were both terrific. They didn't try to sell a fancier product and they explained what had gone wrong and why. We couldn't be happier with this company's services.

The 1st visit was on Wednesday July 16, 2014 The first tech was given info as to problems with door. It was noisy, gyrating and chain was catching when opening. He adjusted rails and replaced rollers. Lubricated chain and new rollers. Adjusted safety reverse limit switch. The 2nd visit was on Monday JULY 21, 2014 By Saturday July 19, 2014, approx. 2 1/2 days later door again would not open as chain was catching. Called on Sunday am to make appointment for Monday to have door inspected again. When the second tech arrived he took one look and said chain would have to be adjusted , as it was catching, which he immediately did. Door has worked fine ever since. However this was deemed to be a second visit and would cost me more. I feel that this was a condition that should have been picked up by the first rep as he was made aware that this was a problem with the door and he should have handled it then. There is a line on their tune up sheet that says operator-boom trolley which the first tech passed and which the second tech failed stating chain loose, trolley catching on chain. I have no problem with the companies professionalism and punctuality but this was a problem that I felt should have been handled on the first visit . will not use company again. Apparently a breakdown in communications. Even though the person taking the call for second appointment and the second technician were made aware of the first visit I was still charged. HOWEVER the company promptly refunded my second charge when they were made aware of it.

Set up service with this company through Snap Fix it. The overall process was very smooth. Once the appointment was set I got an email from the company with the approximate arrival time. The email contained all of the pictures of the employees so I could already see who would be at my home. The rep showed up right on time. He gave me an estimate to have the more work done than what I had originally planned, but was thinking about doing before they got there. The overall price was fair compared to other prices I had seen online for the same work. The repair went very smoothly. My garage door is quieter than any other door I have ever owned. I would recommend this company.

I called early in the week for a weekend appt. They were kind enough to offer an appointment that day but I requested a Saturday morning appt. Blake called us Sat morning to confirm and let us know he was on his way. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately and educate us on our garage door system. Though we need additional repairs (new motor) we opted to get our center springs replaced since we have not been able to open the door manually since they broke. The new springs were smaller, lighter and powder coated to last longer and be rust proof. He also recognized that the center bearing was plastic and recommended a steel bearing that would last longer. It was amazing how much lighter the door was to manually open with the new springs ( and our door is a two car steel hurricane door) compared to the old springs. We would definitely recommend them and use them again for the recommended repairs in the future. PS Blake was great and very professional.

They were able to come out a day or two after purchasing the deal. I have no complaints and the system works fine. They were professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

Wow, what great service! I purchased a deal from Precision Door Service on Monday and called for an appointment Tuesday morning; not only did the certified technician arrive at my home that very afternoon, he even called in advance to see if he could do the work two hours earlier than the scheduled time! The gentleman was courteous, polite, and professional at all times. He performed a full garage door tune up. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. The door is now in perfect condition and it is much quieter as a result of his efforts! This is the second time I have used this company and I strongly recommend them for your consideration.

IT WENT EXCELLENT! We had a service person out in the afternoon after our garage door was having problems opening and closing. It turned out to be a broken spring. We were lucky that the garage door had not come down on our cars or any other unfortunate accident. Blake was courteous, helpful and extremely efficient in fixing our garage door! He provided us some additional options for us to consider regarding our door and they are ones that we will certainly look to implement later on down the road. Thanks for the great job and work!

I guess because we are older he figured we were stupid. Without ever actually touching our garage door motor, he determined that we needed a new one. For $500, we could get a motor with NO WARRANTY. For $700, we got a motor with other things thrown in AND a warranty, but for everything that needed to be replaced to 'help us in the future', it was a whopping $900. Of course all these had a special discount applied. When I need a repair, I don't need a smorgasbord of pricing - I just want it fixed. When the sales pitch didn't work, we asked him to send us an estimate, which he did, then he charged us $65 for coming out. This is where it gets interesting. He told us we would never get a better price on a motor than what he was giving us. He was right. That's because we didn't need a motor. We needed a new motherboard. That and a tune up on our current system and a special keypad and new openers came t at $325 . . and we got a warranty. It's mind boggling that these companies stay in business.

The service went very well. They also repaired a broken spring. The door is still working very well to this day. The technician was very helpful, agreeable, had a great personality and provided great customer service. Scheduling was very easy and I would use this company again.

I purchased the Angie's List special for $109 to do a maintenance in addition I wanted them to install an external keyless entry. Just prior to there visit I realized there was other issues with the garage door mechanisms that needed addressing in my newly purchased home. After they examined the door and opener, it was noted that cables where frayed and the springs were ready to break, as well as a problem with the center support. With the advice of my technician, Blake, I decided to change out the existing opener. They needed to have larger springs made and had to return the following morning to proceed with the job. As promised Blake called to give me a time they would be back to do the repair in the morning and they showed up promptly. All working elements were replaced except for the garage door. The door operates so smoothly now that you actually have to look to see if it is closing. I would defiantly call this company again for any issues and maintenance. As for the special I purchased, Blake applied the amount I paid through Angie's List to my bill for the extended work. This company is nothing short of honest, reliable, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

It was fine. They came out a week after I purchased the deal and I ended up spending about $300. They built up the charge for the extra work and reduced it by the Angie's List discount for me. They did a good job at a fair price. The guy who was working on the door had dirty hands and he got some of the buttons and stuff dirty and he didn't clean it off but that's my only issue.

I paid, $109.00 for just rollers and a checkup!! I thought a checkup would mean I would have had all my parts oiled and I do not think he oiled anything. He said, I should oil them once a year. He did replace the rollers but that was it. He tried to charged me $65.00 for a service call too.... I told him there was nothing about a charge for a service call on the Angie's List..... I asked the guy if he could tighten a scew for the garage sensor and he said sure, but once he left i looked and i don't think he did. I feel like i just got ripped off...... Don't think i will use them again.....

Chose a 3 panel steel very well insulated door with all glass windows on the top panel, belt driven openner with 2 remotes and one keypad entry. This was the most expensive of the doors that were considered. Gave a deposit to place the custom door order. This is a very heavy door with bigger springs. After removal and before the installation I had to do some structural repairs so they came back right away to complete the instalation. The door looks great and is quiet. Some of the decoration hardware was incorrect and was reordered and will be installed at a later time.

A+ service - upgraded from previous F review. A manager saw my review and called to apologize for the difficulties encountered with scheduling an appt. After briefly speaking with her, an appt on Sun morning after I returned from out of town was scheduled. The appt was today and garage door is back in working order - better and quieter than before. Very impressed with technician who was very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and provided details of options and pricing. I couldn't be more pleased and applaud this company for following up and turning a first bad impression into a very satisfied customer.

They were quick to schedule the appointment, showed up on time and made the repair. For easy to work with and offer multiple options on repair. Performed tune up on garage equipment at m residence. Replaced the garage motor and spring and rollers and rails, etc. and provided a lifetime warranty on everything for $1,050. they provided optional pricing if I did want to do everything at once but I elected to get it down now rather than wait until it broke.

I contacted precision today and they were able to get me an appointment about 2 hours after i contacted them. They are very curteous and sent an email of the appointment time with a picture of the technician. Charlie arrived exactly on time and I explained the situation to him. He told me that at a minimum they perform a full inspection of the door and will make any recommended repairs. He gave me three options and explained which was most appropriate for me because i have an oversized garage door and the fact that the springs were also bad and if i didnt change the springs the motor would die much faster and i could have the same problem again. I agreed based on my own assessment of the situation and told them i wanted the full package. He also threw in the repair of the motion sensor wires at no extra charge. They were done in about an hour and the door has never worked better.
