Arrived a little late but called to tell me know that he was running behind schedule . Performed the work quickly and thoroughly. Satisfied with the service.

I priced a few companies and Aabrams gave me the best price. They also gave me a discount because my boyfriend wanted his chimney inspected and cleaned so Aabrams reduced the price for both of us. I think it was $125 each dropped down to $103.50 each. They already had the lowest price of those I called and when I offered him two jobs in the same neighborhood (we are in Eustis), that made his commute even more cost effective and we were given a generous discount. As it turned out, my boyfriend's chimney didn't need to be cleaned so he was only charged for the inspection ($75). He still gave me the discount for the cleaning and inspection of my chimney. I gave him a "B" on punctuality only because there was confusion on the date of the cleaning. I spoke to his receptionist (I believe she's his wife) on a Friday and booked for the following Monday or Tuesday ( don't remember now which one I chose). However, he showed up Saturday morning! I assumed they had M - F appointments but Bernard informed me that he works six days a week. Thus, I assume that's where the confusion came in. We weren't expecting him on Saturday but fortunately we were in town and the job was done.

He was late due to unplanned circumstances, but was very professional with my service!

The technician showed up on time and did a good job. He was very courteous as well. I would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I bought this via a "Big Deal." I would use this company again when the time arises. This is not a complicated job so I am looking for someone shows up promptly, does what he says, and does it efficiently.

It went fantastic! We have lived in our home for one year and were told during our home inspection we should look into cleaning our dryer vent since it exits through the roof. I was skeptical about purchasing an Angie's Deal-since you have to pay ahead of time, but everything went like clockwork. I purchased the certificate and had up to six months to use it. Aabrams called my home within 24 hours to schedule the service; however, I wanted to wait about one month, since timing was a factor. When I was ready, I called to schedule and within one week they were at my door. Bernard was 1/2 hour early (he called ahead to make sure that was okay with us). He began inside and pulled out a full plastic-sized grocery bag of lint. Quiet disgusting. Then, he went to the roof and cleaned some more. I was quite pleased with the service and professionalism of the staff. I was surprised at how much lint accumulated in the vent shaft and will definitely continue to get it serviced. The Angie's Deal was a great price and, in my opinion, well worth the money.

My experience went beautifully. They promptly returned my late night desperate phone call first thing the next morning....were at my property by early afternoon. I have two chimneys - one I knew I had a leak, the other I wasn't sure. A roofer I used to install a new roof for me a month prior tried to convince me the leak in a bedroom ceiling was coming from that chimney. I did not tell Abrams at all about what the roofer said - but only that I may have both chimney problems. He called me and said I had one chimney problem only and assured me nothing was wrong with my other chimney - that the problem with the ceiling was a roofing problem. He gave me an guestimated amount for the problem chimney and said he would send his mortar specialist out the next day to confirm the repair, price, etc. The mortar person arrived promptly as scheduled. The estimate was a lot lower than what I anticipated. They gave me a date for repair - were there at the scheduled time and finished the work promptly and cleaned everything beautifully. I couldn't be happier with them and would highly recommend using Abrams.

Service was excellent- Mr. Harris arrived on time and immediately started work. He provided advice on care and maintenance of the chimney.

Bought the Angies List "Big Deal" for vent cleaning. They called and made the appointment, arrived on time and pulled out the dryer and cleaned the vent. He then went up on the roof and pulled off the cap. It was clogged with lint and pet hair. We were all set after that was cleaned. I signed up to have it done every two years.

Bernard was very prompt. It only took him about 20 minutes to complete. The only part I was disappointed with was the mess left behind. There was a trail of dryer lint from walking through what came out of the vent and a hand print on the wall. Thankfully it all cleaned up just fine, but not what I was expecting when I went into my laundry room. Overall, Bernard did a good job and I will be calling on them again in the future.

I was contacted the day following purchase of service, to set up an appointment. Once brief about the problem, the provided set to work and completed the job thoroughly. He did not mind answering questions concerning the unit, and readily offered tips concerning usage & maintenance. I was most impressed with his response to how often I should have the unit serviced. Clearly, this provider was more interested in building a long-term customer/provider relationship than with making a few extra dollars.

The owner , Bernard ,and his wife are great. He is easy to get a hold of , patient, knowledgeable , kind, helpful , punctual and accommodating. I should have used him to do the chimney repair but I got a mixed up on his estimate, he would have been cheaper and better. They only thing that was not so cheap was the back panel to the fireplace. I have three wall pieces and a bottom piece like most fireplaces. Just the back wall one had a crack in it. I figured those pieces would maybe run at most $50 each but they are a whopping $250 each piece. I am glad I only needed one. He said the manufacturer mark up is very high and there is not much he can do about it... and based on his character, I believe him. I will have him back to do some duct work cleaning too when we are ready. Just a helpful note, everyone should have their chimney inspected, we had three roofers come out to do a roof estimate, not one of them caught the huge problem with our chimney. Bernard was not one of them but I am sure he would have caught it. The wood was rotten at the bottom and unstable. I would recommend calling him to come give a free estimate . the quotes I got to repair it ranged from 5,500 to 3,000. He would have done it right and for less but alas, I missed out.

Arrived on time. Very friendly and knew what he was doing. Kept a clean work area. I had weather damage on the chimney. showed me pictures. gave me several suggestions. I will use him in the future.

It was excellent! He was on time, polite, and professional! He was clean too!

It went very well. Had a bit of an accident with the screen to my pool but he paid to fix it and had his guy there right away. Bernard is very knowledgeable and friendly. Naya, his wife was also very helpful. He did a very good job. I will most certainly use him again.

He did an excellent job. He was very clean, punctual, and professional. When someone cleans your chimney you always expect some residue, but he left no mess, it was shockingly clean. I am very in favor of family owned businesses and that is what this was.

They were punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. Fortunately, the chimney was mostly clean already, and no additional services were needed. His honesty and integrity were appreciated, and earned future business from us.

Their guy did a great job. He was all business. He actually gave me a business card which I thought was interesting – I actually had asked for it but he just came in got the job done and left that was it. It was fine you know average when addressing some question or concerns.

It went very well. There was no dirt that came in to the house. I was quite pleased given the nature of the work. They did a great job.

They did the service as stated within the deal. They were able to schedule the appointment quickly and they did a great job.

Barnard arrived on time and took care of our fireplaces. He was very careful not to track debris in the house and not only covered the carpet in front of the fireplace as he worked but he also covered my driveway where his truck was parked. He seemed to know his job well and was very pleasant to work with.

Arrived on time as scheduled. Took the time to explain all the details about the work and issues found along the way. Removed a significant amount of build up in the Chimney. I was a new homeowner and was not sure the last time this was done. Apparently, it was not done regularly. The Dryer had similar issues with major build-up of lent. He accessed the vent from the chimney and pull hot hardened lint which was blocking air flow. The dryer performance is like night and day. I feel better about the performance and safety of both the Chimney and dryer.
