Tony Lyke and his crew, especially Chris, were amazing and a real pleasure to work with. From first contact asking for Tony to come give us an estimate until the very last bit of cleanup was completed, they were prompt, punctual, professional, and pleasant. We were very impressed with their honesty, and they helped us make good decisions about what to do. We originally just wanted the old popcorn ceiling patched but Tony very wisely advised us against that and priced it both ways so we could see the difference and make an informed decision. Looking back, we are so glad he did as the new ceiling is beautiful!!! The rest of the work they did was amazing too - they even had to do some framing before they could do the drywall in one spot, and they just rolled with it and got it done. They were fantastic about keeping the mess to a minimum and they cleaned up every night before they went home, they protected our belongings as carefully as if they were their own, and they were very nice to have around for a few days. Highly recommend Lyke's Drywall to anyone. Tony takes his time and makes sure the work is done correctly - even if it is personally inconvenient to him.

A previous "drywall guy" did a cheap job for a cheap price and the new crack in the ceiling scared several buyers. Lyke's removed the crummy job and made the whole thing look like it should have from day one! Lyke's was not even much more and it is now perfect! ||I HIGHLY recommend Lyke's for all drywall!||

Once again Tony's team did a great job. They are not only always on time and professional, they do quality work and are experts at cleaning the area after they are done. Like they were never there, except for the very smooth walls. We will use Lykes for all our future drywall needs.

Lyke's Drywall Services completed drywall work for us in June 2013 and did good work. He has a large crew so the work was completed quickly. The work was good and they completed the job on-time. I really have nothing negative from my experience with them. They did the job they were asked to do.

Tony came out to provide an estimate only a few hours after calling on a Saturday. The estimate was very reasonable for the materials and labor. There was some hesitation with receiving a written estimate, however Tony addressed this an made sure I received it. The installers were patient as I had to complete some last minute items before they could begin. The work was completed very quickly and professionally in the timelines specified. I was very satisfied with quality and how the job turned out. I plan to have them come back out to do a knockdown finish for the whole house. I would highly recommend Lykes Drywall and would not hesititate to call them for any future Drywall needs.

Over the years repairs had been made and a once leaky roof had done a small bit of damage. We decided to rip out the old ceiling and have all new installed. This also allowed us to easily install recessed lighting. I called and spoke to Anthony and he came out the following Saturday to give an estimate to install Sheetrock on a ceiling where two rooms had become one. We were literally tearing out the old stuff when he came over. Within a few moments he was able to give us a verbal quote. We agreed to the price and he told us he should be able to do the job withing a few days. As promised he showed up several days later with supplies, ready to work. Anthony and an assistant worked through the day to get the job complete in one day. He actually stayed a bit late to get it done. We are very please with the finished ceiling. The knockdown texture looked great.

I was really waiting for a callback on the next day. Otherwise, I had an estimate for $2350, but found an honest guy who did it for $825.. Don't trust these guys......

Call Tony the owner, he was extremely prompt in responding to my needs. The cost was extremely competitive and the entire crew worked hard to please. I am planning on having this company come back in the future and replace my entire home of popcorn ceiling and refinish with a modern knockdown look. They are that good!!!!

Nice fellow. Tony does quality work, and for that reason is quite busy. He and his crew did a great job and were very accommodating. One problem is that because Tony does great work, he's very busy. And that means he doesn't call you when he says he is going to. He pushes back job start dates because of work overload. But if you can actually get him on the phone, you'll enjoy the chat. And if you actually get him on the job, you'll appreciate the work. Perhaps he's big enough as a company now to pay someone to answer phones, scout out jobs and give quotes, return calls etc. Definitely lacking in the professionalism dept. People that need work done need people to do it when they say they are going to do it. For that to happen, companies need to return calls when they say they are going to. I shouldn't have to chase someone down who wants to earn money from me.

Quick estimate and very quick work. Very little mess. The main thing for me is that the patched areas are indistinguishable from the surrounding wall/ceiling areas.

The garage looks like new. Tony kept me updated on when he would be there. He called when he said he would. He is very professional and gets the job done as promised. I would highly recommend his services.

The owner and his crew were pleasant and professional. The 2-man crew came the first day and did the demo, put up new drywall and patched the ceiling. They cleaned the inside of the garage before leaving. The owner was doing the finish work himself and was not able to come the following day as scheduled but called as soon as he could to let us know and apologized. He came the day after that (on a Saturday) and did the finish work and cleaned up and hauled away debris. We will most likely hire again for any replacing/updating our existing ceilings.

The work was excellent. He was able to complete the work in a timely manner and helpful with suggestions.

After 12 years with outdated popcorn ceilings we finally decided to replace these with knockdown ceilings. We checked the internet and Angies List, and found a few companies in the area that looked good. After having a few companies give quotes, we went with Lyke's because the owner was personable, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about what he was doing. Lykes was very reasonable on price, and they explained the whole process to us. There are always a few small issues here and there, but overall, we love the finished product - the ceilings look great and we are glad we chose Lyke's Drywall!

They did a wonderful job. We were in the process of a complete kitchen/great room remodel of a recently purchased house. There was existing damage to the ceiling due to a leaky roof and the original knock down texture was very heavy. We relocated or moved approximately 25 recessed ceiling fixtures with the resulting holes in the ceiling. Lyke’s repaired the ceiling, skim coated over the existing knock down, applied an oil base primer, and then re-applied knock down. Our new kitchen cabinets were already installed and they did a great job covering everything. The ceiling looks brand new. I would definitely hire them again. They really cared about the quality of their work and my house.

Great contact, very professional. Used so much plastic to cover furniture/doorways, I thought I was in a hospital. Did good work and made sure we were pleased with the finished product.

It turned out very well. My home was built in 1942 and the rooms look brand new. It was really impressive what he did. He was on time, professional and completed all the work he stated he would in the contract. Everything was also clear in the contract. As an extra bonus, there was a little place in the hallway that needed a patch; it was a nice thing he threw in there. His price was also right there with the other professional companies I looked at. He was easy to work with as far as his scheduling went. I would use him in the future.

Antonio Lykes is the owner and he was wonderful. He was on time and produced the work he said he was going to produce. He was dependable because he came and went as he said he would. He was very clean and did a great job cleaning up; they taped off my house really well to keep the dust from flying around.

Tony, the owner, arrived on time and personally supervised the removal of the old popcorn ceiling. He then applied the new knockdown ceiling himself. The quality of the work was excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Tony and his partner did a great job. They made every effort to minimize the dust and work around our furniture. They worked quickly and were finished in 2 days.

He was very professional. While he was here he had a rare equipment malfunction that was out of his control. To me that is when you can tell how good somebody is, He handled it very well as if nothing ever happened and could not tell there was ever a problem. The ceiling looks great and would love to do my whole house in the future. I would definitely call him back.
