My only "complaint" is that the tech called me two hours before my appt time to state that he was on his way over! Informed him that I was not ready & he asked when I would be. Told him "in 2 hours at our scheduled appt. time". He then called back 1.5 hours later to ask if I was ready for him & I allowed him to come over. The tech was a very nice man & was very professional & did a very good job so I have not complaints with the work at all! I will definitely hire them again!

I needed an electrician to diagnose a problem I was having with my dryer. He checked the power with a meter and told me that since there was power, it was not the outlet. He suggested that I Consider buying a new dryer. I had someone check the dryer to repair. The dryer was not broken. The repair person opened the outlet and tested the wires inside. He replaced that outlet and the dryer now works.

First and quickest to respond. Both technicians, John and Lance provided a written estimate with no pressure to sign. John was awesome! Lance Wiedenheft spent two days in my home because of the scope of work I requested and everything was done perfectly. He has clearly mastered his craft which was evident in the quality of the work he performed. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, experienced and extremely helpful. I couldn't be happier with the service he provided and the quality of the work he performed. I highly recommend Excel Electric, they clearly only hire the BEST!!!!

Kevin was great on the phone and very informative. Lance was right on time for both the estimate and the scheduled day for the install of my bath exhaust fan and to replace an existing ceiling fan. Everything works. My only concern is the way my exhaust fan vents to the outside. I went with the estimate for me supplying the fan (then I got what I wanted). I was told the fan would vent out through the soffit. I bought the venting piece that was for the soffit. Turns out, lance said going out through the soffit was not going to work due to the angle and space available. Without telling me, he cut a hole in the outside wall of my house and put the venting piece over the hole. He said it was all sealed, but that freaked me out. I don't even know if that is up to code. My concern is hurricanes and general weather in south Florida. That venting piece is only plastic and it faces east. That 's a lot of sunbaking. It sits in the back of my head on whether that is something I need to be concerned about or is it all good???
