We submitted our request and within minutes, Shawn had called to set up a time (on a Sunday!). He was friendly, reassuring, and super professional, telling us what to do and buy before he did his inspection (lots of laundry). He was communicative throughout the day and came on-time. Once here, he did a quick but thorough inspection, gave us the good news that we didn't have bedbugs, and wouldn't even accept a tip for his troubles. I would recommend him to anyone!

Shawn from Universal arrived to destroy some bee hives in our backyard. He arrived promptly, was extremely courteous, and the price was great. He even called the following morning to check on the situation. We would recommend Shawn at Universal to anyone who needs help with exterminating projects and we'll be sure to use him again in the future for preventative termite control.

I spoke with a gentleman on the phone who listened to my concerns and assured me that if I chose this company to service my home, I would be very satisfied. He explained what would transpire and answered numerous questions. The service technician who arrived was extremely thorough and very friendly. He addressed all my concerns while going above and beyond what I had asked for. As for pricing, I found that Universal Exterminating was very affordable and worth the value for their time and service . I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this company.

Shawn was absolutely amazing. He worked with our busy schedule and went through our apartment very carefully, examining every nook and cranny for bedbugs. Finding none, he provided helpful cost effective measures to prevent infestation rather than try to sell us unecessary products and services. I would recommend Shawn without reservation.

The actual work, to block up holes through which mice were entering my apartment was completed by Joseph Pizarro. He is terrific and did a wonderful job. The owner, Shawn impressed me when I first spoke to him, and he made a date to do the appraisal the next day. After he was almost an hour late, he never returned my phone calls. However, I feel lucky that he sent Joseph Pizarro to do the appraisal and the work, because it was great from then on! The work was done well, professionally, and I learned a lot too. I also think the price was very affordable.

Shawn is very friendly however I did not receive the service he promised. I hired him to treat my 4 family apartment building on a monthly basis. We did not have a roach or mice problem initially so this was a preventative measure. He told me that he would post a notice in the vestibule of the building a day before each treatment was to be conducted. That NEVER happened. He did not stick to the original schedule which was the 4th Saturday of each month so my tenants were not present in many instances to have their apartment treated. I only learned this after speaking with the tenants and asking when they last saw the exterminator. Then we started to have a mouse problem. Shaun said he handled mice also and it would be no extra charge. However, one tenant said he asked the person doing the treatment to treat for mice and he told him they don't treat for mice. I spoke to Shaun and he sent someone to treat for mice. Basically, they just put down traps but a second tenant said the mice were avoiding the traps and the problem was not getting better. I spoke to Shaun and asked that he take it a step further. He contacted the tenant and sent someone the next day. Then the 1st tenant called me saying the problem was getting worse. I called all the tenants to see what their situation was and they all said the problem was getting worse. I then called Shaun and explained that all the apartments needed to be treated beyond putting down traps. They need to find the holes, put poison in the holes and block the holes. He asked me to provide everyone's contact # and he would be there by Friday or Saturday. One frustrated tenant was calling me daily for status and I explained they should be there on Friday or Saturday. Friday and Saturday came and went and no one showed up. The tenant called me around 12 PM on Friday saying someone called and said they would come that morning but never showed up. I texted Shaun with that info and asked him when the tenant could expect someone to be there. I got no response. The next day the tenant said she received a call at 4:35 PM on Friday saying they would be there on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon at 3 PM she contacted me again saying that they did not show up again and she was beyond frustrated. I then texted Shaun again to say I would be looking for a new company to do business with. He never responded to the previous text and his response to my last text was that "I'm texting him like he's in the office with the schedule and that he is not updated on the schedule as I may think" I thought that response was TOTALLY inappropriate. First of all, he should have responded to the first text and said something to the effect of "Sorry for the inconvenience. I don't have access to the schedule but I will look into it and get back to you." I felt his price was very reasonable but as they say... You get what you pay for! I am not a mean spirited person so I don't like writing a bad review however this

I found Universal Exterminating very responsive and quite thorough with the horrifying mice problem plaguing the household. I highly recommend Joseph, who was meticulous throughout the entire process and when we encountered another problem Shawn and Joseph remedied the problem right away.

Warren, the specialist who came, was excellent, there ahead of time, very professional, thorough, and polite. I also received the same from the Boss- Sean.

Warren came out to do the job. He was very pleasant, professional and responsive. We asked him a million questions which he patiently answered. My 8 year old daughter wanted to keep him and I had to remind her that despite his adorable charm, he's not a pet and cannot be 'kept'. Good experience all around. It's been over a week and we've not seen a single spider.

I spoke to Shawn on the phone and he was super helpful and professional! He answered all of my questions and was able to schedule an appointment to come to my home right away (and even accommodated me when I called back to change the time 30 minutes later)! One of his employees was supposed to meet my husband between 8am-9am, and actually arrived early. My husband said that he was very nice and thorough. Since we just got serviced I can't say what the effects will be long term, but Shawn already assured me that we have a 1 year guaranty in case any issues should arise. Also, the cost is INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend these guys!
