I ended up continuing to drive 50 miles and wound up having to do the repair without insurance. He was $2,000 less than anybody else. I got 5 quotes. It was good quality work. There was one problem because I went away on vacation and expected it to be ready when I got back and it was delayed by one day. He did everything he said he was going to do. I'm missing a hubcap so I don't know what happened to it.

Peter is a no frills, old school guy - his business has been at that location and in his family for over 50 years and you can tell this is his passion. Not only were all cars involved repaired within 2 weeks ( one as early as 3 days), but the work was thankfully excellent and very reasonably priced. He also warranties his work as long as you have the car which says a lot about his business. This was all done cash, no insurance so not sure if that had an impact but his work was great and I thank he's a true gem. Not too many good repulable car businesses out there - this one fortunately is.

He did a very nice job. So far, I'm satisfied with the job. He was very courteous. I have no problems with it at this moment. As far as his work and his professionalism, he's very good. I would definitely recommend him.

Poorly. Failed prior to discussion of price.

I wanted to have the work described above done to my car and since it was not an insurance claim I wanted to find a shop that would not only do top quality work but also do it at a reasonable price. I searched Angie's List for a highly rated auto paint and body shop in the Fort Lauderdale area. I discovered Pompano Paint and Body Repair which had excellent reviews. My wife took the car in and obtained an estimate from Mr. Lane. It seemed like a fair price so we scheduled the work and took it in the following week. While meeting with Mr. Lane we mentioned a couple of scratches on my wife's car and asked him to take a look at them. He took about 15 minutes of his time to work of the scratches and basically eliminated them to the point that we don't feel they need further repair. He did this on his time without expecting any compensation. As far as the car we brought in for repair, the work was done as scheduled (took about 3 days) and the quality was excellent and the price was as quoted. Mr. Lane was extremely professional and the quality of his work was excellent and for a fair price. I would highly recommend Mr. Lane and Pompano Paint and Body Repair and if one of my cars needs paint and body work in the future I would of course go back to see Mr. Lane.

Even though he was shorthanded after I took the car in , Peter completed the bodywork on time. He is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work and that's why this family-owned business has been in business for many years.

They were dependable and the price was right. They did what they said they would do as well as in the time they said they would. I would use them again in the future.

Greeted by the owner, Peter, who was friendly as soon as I got to the shop. He gave me a ride back to where I had to go and then his technician took the car back to the shop. They fixed the dent I had in my bumper in one day, and it would be hard for anybody to notice anything was ever done to the car. Turn around was great and the price was excellent.

. The service was excellent. The work was finished when promised. Peter was very pleasant and professional. He even provided me with a ride home when I dropped the car off (my home is several miles from the shop).I would highly recommend this company.

This was my first experience with using a company from Angie's list. I was looking for a company with a reasonable price (neither high nor low) and with a reputation for doing a careful, professional job. This company (Pomano Paint and Repair) had a good report filed on Angie's list so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. Peter, the owner, is a level-headed, all-business guy, just the type I like best to do business with. I was interested in a total repaint. We walked around the car and I pointed out some extra things that bothered me: I wanted the yellowed headlights replaced (cleaning them has proved to last only a few months), and I wanted the windshield wiper arms repainted as they were rusty. In addition I had some bumper damage and the clear coat was pealing everywhere so extensive prep was needed, probably more than is typical. The price quoted was $1500 which is right in the ballpark of what I thought a job of that extent should cost. They did the work in three days. The new headlights look great! The paint job is smooth and flawless to my eye. When I went to pick up the car they had forgotten to repaint the windshield wipers but dropped everything and got them treated and painted; this went very fast (it is fun to watch good professionals at work), taking perhaps 10 to 15 minutes. The car now looks like new but now the alloy wheels look old on it. I asked Pete what were my options about that and he gave me some great tips on how I could restore them myself, rather than pay for a specialist company to do the work, tips which I plan to try out this weekend.

They are excellent and they won prices. They are number one all the way in price, quality, the work and the paint match is excellent. I've never had any problem and I've used them several times. They are very timely, when they say it's going to be nothing takes them long than just a day and half. They are very reasonable. Somebody hit my car in the parking lot and it was the passenger side and the front light was really smashed. Thankfully the light didn't break but surrounding did. He has done work multiple times on my bumper. I've been using him for three years and I've used him five times. I recommend them highly.
