Some body shops will not paint older model cars. Some are insurance only and my deal was cash. So I got a referral from one of those body shops. The recommendation was Pompano Paint and Body run by Pompano Pete. From the very first phone call to Pete I knew I was in good hands. Great old fashioned work ethic. They had my car for about a week. They charged nothing. It involved an auto accident with other party's insurer's simple liability. Just because I was curious, I did ask them how much they were going to charge for the service. It's pretty close to $2500. I thought it was going to be high given the work they had to do. The car looked like it had just come out of a showroom even though it was a couple of years old.

I highly recommend Pompano Paint and Body Repair. All the work was done in a timely manner. They even washed and vacuumed my car. My car is as good as new. I feel that the price that I paid for the work was very fair.

I received 4 estimates. Pampano was the lowest. Work was done professionally and delivered as promised.

Peter greeted me as soon as a I walked out of my car and showed me around the whole body shop. He was personable and confident about his work. He finished the job in only one day and it looked as good as new. I highly recommend him and his shop!

went well, repair was a little bit tight. brought it back and they put some 3 in 1 oil on the door. works fine now.

He gave me $450 estimate and said it would take two days. He said he could bump out the fender and repair the bumper. I took it to the next place and they said it needed a new fender and it would cost $1300 and would take four days. The repair was great. It looks brand new.

Peter quoted a price and a date when the truck would be done. Both were spot on. The truck came out looking great.

Peter performed outstanding service, told me the car would be finished by Friday 10/4/2013 and it was done by lunch. I couldn't pick it up until today but it was amazing overall. Real nice guy, professional, and left my 2012 VW Jetta looking brand new! My girlfriends Mom backed into my drivers side rear door with a slight overlap into my front door. I went to 3 other bodyshops, before finding Peter. He surprised me, 2 other shops told me to get a factory door skin. When I came to pickup the car, he told me to look at it and had a surprise. Well he was able to pull this crinkled madness into the smoothest lines I have ever seen!

The A+ reviews are right. Peter is totally honest, hard working, efficient and priced extremely well... his family has been in this business for 50 years and it is really his avocation... he takes his job very seriously. We brought the car in after work and it was done by 4pm the next day. Peter is the owner and he handles everything. The job was excellent... it looks better than it did before the accident.

I own a 2007 Pontiac Solstice, bright red, 2 seater, convertible. It is my favorite car I have ever owned. There was a dent just behind the driver side door that needed repaired. It also had some damage to the area beneath the front bumper from parking too close to concrete parking barriers. Lastly, it has a manual convertible top. It was broken and could not be put down. Peter and his team repaired everything! The convertible top now opens and closes. The dent is fixed as is the front area. Peter was very honest and was not sure he could fix the convertible top. He did and for all of the work, he only charged $630. The work only took him two days. I expected it to take 3-4 days. Excellent customer service, timeliness, and cost. I will never take any of our vehicles to anyone else for body repairs. I wish I had known about Pompano Paint and Body Repair sooner!

Didn't call ahead, just showed up for an estimate. Peter was professional. Gave me an cost estimate and told me how long the job would take. I took the car back for the work a couple of weeks later. Was very pleased with the outcome. Pleasant experience. Recommended them to my daughter. She took her car in and had a similar experience. The estimate Peter gave her was a little less than the others she had received and he did excellent work in a timely manner.

This was the worst experience I ever had with an auto body repair shop. I went to this location because I noticed the shop’s rating on Angie's list. My experience was so bad I even canceled my subscription to Angie’s list because I cannot consider the information reliable. This shop has an A rating on Angie’s list so I went there for research I received what seemed like a fare quote on the damage to my car, I then went to other shops that I researched myself and found that the prices were around the same but I could not find reviews on the other shops so I went with the shop reviewed on Angie’s list. I have a 2004 Lexus ES330 that had front right side bumper and fender damage. I took my car to pompano paint and body shop on a Friday and was told that the car would be fixed by Wednesday or Thursday. Given that time frame I rented a vehicle to be returned on Friday morning and also had some work events to attend that Friday evening that I was planning on going to in my fixed car. I called the auto body shop on Wednesday to check on the progress of my repairs. The mechanic informed me that the car would be ready by Thursday end of day and that the repairs were coming along great (his exact words). They called me from the auto shop on Thursday at approximately 3:40 pm to let me know that my car would not be ready until Friday at 10: am. Friday came and I did not hear from the shop so I called them several times throughout the day each getting a short response of and quot; it’s not ready we have your number, we will call youand quot;. After several calls I finally get the ok to pick my car up at 8:30 pm. When I get to the shop I inspect the repairs where I noticed that the bumper was not fitted on correctly. I also noticed several imperfections with the paint job. I could not see everything wrong with the repair do to the poor lighting, there for I drove home in my vehicle. As I was driving home I noticed that my right side headlight was not working so as I got home I called the repair shop and left a message explaining the headlight issue. I never received a call back on this issue. The next day in the morning I inspected my car and noticed the worst repair job I had ever seen the bumper was not fitted to the car properly so there were many gaps that just made the front of the car look misshaped. I also noticed that the edges the bumper had paint that was bubbled up. I thought that was the extent of the horrible repair but then I was on the highway and the right side mud flap came causing a hole in it and a roaring sound wen turning left. I was busy at work so I was not able to take the car to the shop that weekend I called on Monday during working hours and again got the answering machine I left another message explaining my mud flap issues. I have not heard from back from the shop on any of my issues. The Mechanic seems like a nice person but the work was not worth the price. I would not recommend this auto body shop to anyone; unfortunately I had to learn the hard way.
