Description of Work: They used a swirl-buffer or wax applicator on the car causing permanent swirl scratch marks into the clear coat finish of the car (black Cadillac XLR). The hood and the passenger side of the car are damaged. I have to have the scratches compounded out and the car reward by hand, as it should have been originally by Auto Tech. The management and staff were very nice and professional, but the detail work quality was extremely poor. They won't touch my car again.

Description of Work: Went for an estimate, they were very professional at first. Less enthusiastic later but still professionals. The estimate was very high (over $18000) about 30% more than any other well rate Body Shop that I visited. Also, they seem to have added more parts than anyone else making the cost of repair higher. I found out they make 25% to 30% on the parts, I felt they were not transparent when I directly asked if they make money on the parts. I decided not to use them because this was an out of pocket repair. I would recommend using them for an insurance job, I think they have a nice shop and qualify personnel but too expensive for me.

Description of Work: I used Auto Tech several years ago and was not impressed. When I needed a transmission replaced I went to Angie's List and I saw Auto Tech and read positive reviews. I decided to return to them and keep an open mind. I was not disappointed this time, they have since replaced the previous manager, and my experience was professional, dependable, and reasonable. I brought my van in on a Tuesday and it was ready on Thursday morning. I feel encouraged to return to them for any of my future needs oil changes, tire rotation, body work, and more. They are a one stop shop.

Description of Work: I just picked up my 1966 VW Beetle that was all rusted out and next to being discarded, but there's something about the old Beetle that conjures up great happy memories to those of us who have owned them, so instead, I put Matilda in the care of these caring, meticulous artisans - AUTO TECH.. They kept her for several months, and I got almost weekly reports on the latest accomplishments (with pictures). It wasn't cheap, but the results are breathtaking. Mu Beetle is like new, engine and all and Jay, the owner, said that I can come back at any time for repair, tune ups or anything else needed. Personally, I give this company an A+. Diana Dunham
