Description of Work: I purchased this deal thru Angies List to detail my MazdaSpeed3. I was actually misled into purchasing this deal because their website advertised themselves as being open on weekends. I checked first because working for the USMC, its hard for me to get time off during the week. Their on-line appointment system wouldn't allow me to make a weekend appointment so I called their office and was told that I'd have to choose a weekday. I had to wait several weeks but had Labor Day Monday (a Monday) upcoming as a day off from work. I called to see if they would be open and was told "yes". I asked if they were sure they'd be open and was assured they would be so, I made the appointment. I was told to bring my car in before 9:30 am and it would be done around 2:00 pm (the email I later received from them said 4:00). Its about a 40 minute drive each way but I was hoping the quality of work would be worth it. It wasn't exactly how I thought I'd be spending my day off but I didn't want to waste the money I spent for the deal so pretty much planned my day around this appointment. Late afternoon on the Friday before my appointment, I had a voice mail message on my phone notifying me that they were sorry but they would not be open on Monday and to call back to reschedule. I had no choice but to reschedule for Columbus Day (another Monday) when I was assured again that they'd be open. Fortunately, no calls came in to cancel this appointment so I drove to their location with my wife following me in her car (it'd be too long for me to wait at the shop). Things went comparatively smoothly from there. The girl at the counter remembered the botched first appointment and was duly apologetic. She inspected my car and advised me what could and couldn't be buffed out. When uncertain, she called their on-site expert to look it over to ensure expectation management. She pointed out some dings and dents and quoted me prices if I wanted them fixed. Since they wouldn't be able to complete the work that day, I declined. She offered me a discount to buff my headlights too but I decided to opt out. They asked for my keys and a cell phone phone number so they could call when my car was ready. My wife and I left in her car to eat a late breakfast, saw a movie, then went to a nearby mall while waiting for the call. It was after 4:30 and we'd yet to hear from them. I started to get concerned that they either forgot to call or wrote down the wrong cell phone number so we decided not to wait and returned to the shop. I had a bad experience in the past when a shop closed for the day before calling me and I was stuck without wheels until they reopened the following morning. When we got there, we learned that they didn't close until 6:00. They were sorry but my car wasn't finished yet. I didn't want them to take any shortcuts to rush my job so told them take their time. I waited for about another 45 minutes before being told that my car was ready. They did what appears to be a really good job with the detailing. It's only been a week so time will tell how long the shine and luster will last. Everyone at Auto Tech and Body with whom I interacted were very polite and acted professionally. My only complaint would be regarding the inaccurate information on their website (I recommended to them that they update/correct it) and their appointment making process. If their website stated that they didn't do detailing on weekends, I would never have purchased this deal.

Description of Work: I was a little miffed when I arrived because I made an appointment prior to taking my car in and they had a couple of cars to service ahead of mine. Their waiting are could use some improvement - there's no magazines, a vending machine, etc. and there's nothing nearby. The staff was friendly however, they did a good job servicing the car, and the price was reasonable

Description of Work: Changed oil, patched leak in tire of Subaru Forester. Very nice waiting area, clean, extremely kind to and patient with my 5 year old boy. Will return! Notified me of tire dry rot, which was true, and recommended new tires. Gave me an estimate for new tires which was very reasonable.

Description of Work: I purchased a full detail package for my BMW 850 convertible. Even though my car is 9 years old, it came out looking like it did on the showroom floor. Excellent job. They require a full day to detail each vehicle. They only detail one vehicle per day. Well worth the money even at full price. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to my next detail.

Description of Work: I brought my 2006 Altima in for diagnostic testing that turned out to be a sensor issue. I was told that my fuel pump was starting to go (fuel delivery wasn't smooth), so I allowed them to replace that. I also asked for a tire rotation/rebalancing/pressure check, an oil change and general inspection of belts/hoses/exhaust system. | |They couldn't do it all in one afternoon, so I chose a one-day car rental from them @ $33/day. I was able to get a 10% AARP discount on labor and they didn't charge me for the car rental since I didn't like the car they gave me for several reasons. Including tax, I paid $985 ..... this is the first time I've ever paid for a fuel pump replacement, so I have no idea what they cost. | |They threw in a lot of things without charging extra (including vacuuming the inside and washing the exterior), so I have to believe that that the price was fair. | |John, the rep I dealt with, was professional/personable/informative and the office staff was professional and courteous as well. The office and waiting area is clean/cool/comfortable and there is coffe/tea/water available. | |I will definitely go back next time I need any service for my Altima baby!
