When the car arrived from Maroone, Auto Tech called me to tell me it was in terrible shape. When I got there I saw the engine, which had been dismantled, was in pieces all over the car. Greasy parts were on the leather seats, the head was just sitting unattached in the engine compartment, and the bolts and gaskets were also loose. Jay, the service manager expressed dismay, and they took pictures for me of the condition it arrived in. They explained they had to take inventory to see if any parts were missing. About a week later, George, the technician called to say it looked like the parts were all there, and the estimate to fix the car with a retooled head and new valves, along with the other belts and gaskets needed would be $2500. I agreed. It took another two weeks to fix the car. George called to tell me they needed to get some bolts that had been lost in transport, but the car was running, and would be ready to pick up in a couple of days. When I went to pick it up, the bill was $3400. Jay, the service manager explained that they had flushed and cleaned many parts of the engine in addition to fixing it. When he heard I had not been told of the additional charges, he reduced the bill to the original estimate plus tax. I was very satisfied. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

They tried to use after market parts even though I insisted on OEM. The body work was sloppy and the headlight has never worked properly since. They refused to even examine the faulty headlight assembly when I brought the car back in. I eventually had to take the vehicle into the dealership to get it fixed proeprly. It was diagnosed as a loose ground due to the sloppy work by Auto Teck. They also failed to check or fix the allignment after the collision which left the car barely drivable. That too had to be done by another shop. Auto-Teck is not accepted by State Farm. Not recommended.

We met Jorge (the manager) and explained to him what we wanted. He was very professional and nice and explained to us how this would be handled. The price seemed reasonable and he gave us a small discount since we came through Angie's List (we asked). They even offer their own car rentals right on-site -- very convenient. The car was ready two business days later and it looks perfect. We are very happy with the work performed and all the people we dealt with. We would highly recommend them for auto painting and we will be going back to have other work performed on our cars when the need arises, included standard maintenance.

My report card: Service A - Great customer service with a large garage so you can generally call an hour in advance and then show up and they'll get you in for servicing, prompt servicing with little downtime, and they might even offer to drive you home if you live in the area so you don't have to wait in the lobby! Quality: A - It's a first class facility and Jorge seems to oversee a lot of the work personally. He also takes time to discuss options with you, explain things, and will even answer personal calls and emails. Pricing: C - Here's the rub. I always called around to get quotes and even tried other repair shops for other work and Auto Tech & Body is often 20-30% higher in their labor quote than other smaller but good repair shops. What you get in return for that premium is more flexible and faster servicing because of their large facility. By comparison, most of the other recommended auto shops nearby are substantially smaller and it's harder to schedule time to get in for servicing on short notice. The others ones I have used are A&H Auto in Delray which is also excellent but substantially smaller and Mike's Auto in Coral Springs which is good but even smaller yet.

For such a bad experience on the road, the repair part was very pleasant. I was updated on a regular basis. They also gave me a free inspection on my car to make sure there was any more damage done with my tire blowout. The place is very clean and elegant looking. I was quoted on all the repairs and the tires and I was informed on a regular basis.

I would recommend them for their work and their service was excellent. Very good pricing as well considering it was such an upscale body shop.

No appointment needed, staff very friendly, and the best part, NO CHARGE! - - PS If you get there right when they open, you are greeted with the wonderful aroma of ((( FRESH COFFEE!!!)))

The experience was AMAZING! I picked up my car and noticed it was washed. I felt like I was treated as a valued customer. I was called on a regular basis and updated on my vehicle and I received a thank you card afterwards. Now, I know why this shop is considered one of the top 10 independent repair facilities in North America. I would recommend Auto Tech and Body for anyone that needs body repair, mechanical repair or insurance work.

I was very impressed. We drove all the way from Pembroke Pines to this auto body shop, and will gladly do it again. They were first-class professionals from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

Well, I did have to return the van to get them to repaint the hinges as the paint didn't match the first time.

The body work was well done and reasonably priced. They were knowledgeable and friendly. They are a friendly organization. They were very responsive to the need to have the work done quickly. They called daily to inform me of the the progress and had the work done in three days. When they did the body work I also inquired about mechanical work as well. They were nice, decent people.

They did my front brakes & fluid a few months ago and said I could wait a bit for the rear, but not too long. I had my car at a 'major chain' shop where I have a free alignment/tire rotation contract and they said I needed new rotors and pads for over $300. I opted to let them do the free work and bring it to Auto Tech because they never mentioned there was a rotor problem and I didn't hear any noise. I did not disclose what the other company said, I just asked them to check & see if it was time to replace. I dropped it off and they called me in about an hour with an estimate. It was just time to replace the pads. Before leaving I told Jay about what the other company said. He explained the rotors were very rough but they turned them, measured, and they were well within mfr spec. Jay said they'd be good for another 3-4 years. Each time I go to Auto Tech & Body I grow more comfortable they are fair & honest.

My first crash after decades of driving, so I was unfamiliar with the process. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The manager Steve Ross stands out. I needed a new tailgate and bumper. The quote, $2,600, was for more than I expected, but I had nothing to base it on. I was on a tight timeframe so I didn't shop for others. Upon hearing the cost I decided to make a claim to my insurance. The staff was helpful in dealing with the ins. co. One anomaly was that the insurance adjuster got the price down by $500. If I hadn't used insurance I would have paid the original estimate. My truck looks great again!

Jay told me it would take one day to get part & that I could have car back at the end of 2nd day. I made appt. to drop on Monday. About 1-2 hours after drop someone called to verify the work being done (it was someone different than Friday) and confirmed the part was in. Tuesday they called to tell me everything was on schedule and I could pick up end of day. Everyone was very nice and all went according to plan. Very happy. I love a no hassle experience and the turnaround was fast enough I didn't have to get a rental car.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, professional and timely. They did not ask me to leave my car until they had all the parts. Then they only had my car for five days. Another place wanted me to leave my car for five weeks. The price quoted was very reasonable. When I took it for a 2nd quote they were going to charge a little more than double! Not acceptable. I would highly recommend them and will use them again, if necessary.
