We are independent participating contractors with FPL and we participate in their insulation program. We have been in this field for over 25 years, and offer customer satisfaction. We have financing available upon qualification through Syncrony and we also work with Ygrene and PACE programs. We strive to make each customer happy and take care of issue whether it is A/C related, duct related, or insulation related. Payment is due upon completion of job.

Description of Work: I was referred to Absolute A/C from a good friend of mine who used them for some insulation work at his home. He was very pleased with their work. So I decided to give them a call to do some work at my home. I made my appt for my inspection. On the day of inspection they did not show up at the time promised or called to say they were running late. I decided to call to see what happened. I was told they were running late and would be out to me as soon as they can. 2 hours later they show up. They did their inspection and said I needed Part A,B,C. I said ok send me the estimate. 5 days later, I get someone else's estimate with my name on it. I wrote back and they sent me the correct estimate. On this estimate it said I needed Part A,B,C,D,E,F,G. I was not told on the original inspection date that I needed all this work. This was a surprise to me, I don't know why they didn't tell me this in the beginning. So I called and asked them to revise the estimate with Part A,B,C. I am still waiting for this revised estimate.

Hello, I was at your home on 8/17 late in the afternoon, I believe it was around 3:00-4:00, on the message center the comments are I have you on schedule for Monday afternoon, no specific time but I always give a 2 hour window for arrival which I have you on my schedule from 1:30-3:30. I sent the estimate on the 21st at almost 10:47 pm. I was taking care of getting many estimates done and yes, I sent the incorrect proposal to you, it was an error, I did not do this on purpose, but I made a mistake, something that many people in the world do every day....You have an old duct system, at least 15-20 years and I was speaking with you about replacing it while at your home, you have a very tight attic and a small duct system, you do not even have a vent in a little office next to the kitchen but you said you didn't mind it was ok not unbearable, I remember pointing out the vent was turned around not even pointing into the kitchen, wile I was counting all the vents in your home which you have only 6. We went outside of your home to see the pitch of the house, I spent a good amount of time speaking with you about the issues at your home so I really don't understand your confusion with the estimate. You advised me you were having FPL out later that week. You sent me an email 8/21 telling me you got the wrong quote, I sent you the correct one the 22 nd. You sent another email on the 24th and we had a conversation over the phone after that where I explained what I saw at your house, so I don't know what reply you are waiting for we spoke over the phone. This was almost over 3 weeks ago. I gave you the pricing for the insulation on initial estimate but I was off by a few sq feet in your favor by 7 sq ft to be exact, not a big deal. The codes listed in your email on the 24th were 2-1, 19-6, 99-6. The code 2 is the supply plenum 2 sides unexposed, the 19 is to seal up connections and the 99 is a miscellaneous code which usually means replacement (like I suggested) . Also the price I quoted you was 1326.00 not 1400.00 as you stated, and with the FPL rebate it would have been less by about 154.00 dollars bringing the total down to 1172.00. I have the estimate that I emailed you on the 22nd and I have the email you sent on the 24. I don't have the day or time we spoke over the phone because I do not get a paper invoice for my cell phone bill. If any contractor tells you they can fix your duct work and make it energy efficient they are just taking your money and I would request a follow up inspection from FPL and they can verify what I am saying is true, you will still have a duct system that needs to be replaced. Mr. [member name removed], I remember being at your house and speaking with you and your mom that was not feeling well and remained in her bedroom. I spent over an hour at your home conducting the inspection and gave you an estimate of 1520.00, not 10,000.00 as you listed on your review. I do have a copy of email sent to you as well as the photos I took while in your attic and emailed them as well. I am trying to figure out who you contracted to do such work, as it was not my company, and if you had more work done than just replacement of the duct system, possibly you had your air conditioner replaced as well. Please take some time to review your paperwork to see what the name of the company was that you hired, I can assure you it was not ABSOLUTE A/C & DUCT REPAIR, as there are many companies that start with Absolute. I understand this is an error, I was at your home but you did not contract us to do the work and I feel that your review needs to be removed and placed on the correct contractor’s site so that future clients are aware of the issue you had with this company. Description of Work: Absolute A/C came out to my home and inspected my a/c ducts and attic insulation. They made some suggestions and recommendations. Everything went well. The owner of the company personally came out to supervise the inspection and answer all our questions. They were courteous, professional and honest. We have accepted their recommendations and proposal and will be doing the work at a later date.
