Description of Work: Excellent product and install. I had 5 windows installed. The crew was on time, fast, cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. If you need windows use Window World. I just got my electric bill and its $40 lower than last month because I no longer have those old crank windows.

Description of Work: They replaced 7 windows in my home. Salesperson was very through in explaining everything about there products. All costs were given before signing a contract. There installers were on time, very curtious,and did an excellent job. I would definitely buy from them again.

Description of Work: Beautiful windows, installation wonderful! I would use again and have recommended to family & friends. |Only negative (if you can call it that) was communication as to when the windows were coming in. It was actually earlier than expected.

Description of Work: Window World replaced 18 windows (several mulled sets) and 2 sliding glass doors as part of a remodel. They were absolutely fabulous with double-hung windows and the sliding doors. Product is great, installation was done well, measurements were spot-on, and sales was wonderful to deal with. Would highly recommend them for these things. | |However, we had some casements and a large fixed-pane picture window installed as well. I don't think these are in their sweet spot. The first picture window arrived with a cracked frame and needed to be replaced. One of the casements was hinged on the wrong side, and now (3-ish weeks after installation) the second casement will not close on its own. We need to give it a final push from the outside to get it fully shut. Time for a service call. So... would highly recommend these folks for their bread-and-butter products, but for casements or specials, you might want to check a few sources.

Description of Work: They had a difficult time removing the old windows used a large crow bar , broke the plaster inside the house and the brick on the outside . I had this evaluated and was told the brick would have to be replaced by a professional . window world caulked the cracked area , the windows must not have fit well with the amount of caulk used around the windows. also, did not see any insulation used when I inquired I was told it was there the only employee I felt was listening was bishop he did his best to fix the problems but I think he would have had to be here to install the windows .

Description of Work: The process took way too long. A whole month or more went by from the day when the window openings were measured to when the new windows were delivered, then more time, on the order of a week or more before they were installed. At installation time it was discovered that one of the windows was missing and it took a couple more weeks to get that delivered and installed. I also had some siding installed which was done when the windows were installed. The installers did a nice job and worked quickly and neatly. Then there were more delays before the blinds I ordered were finally installed and there were some mis-measurements in that part of the order. The blinds installers worked quickly and neatly, correcting the mistakes as necessary. Throughout the whole extended process, I found that my phone calls were not returned promptly, but usually the next morning. This was understandable (but annoying) considering they said they were very busy. I felt like there was a serious lack of coordination and/or communication within the company and my project kept falling into the cracks. The owner of the business was the only one who seemed able to get anything done but he was the busiest of them all. I can recommend them for good workmanship and good products, but not for timeliness or responsiveness.

Description of Work: They wound up replacing all my windows and we hear (less noise) an feel (less temperature changes) and are paying less money on electric than we did in the past. Great deal so far. Had one window that wouldn't close properly and it took them 3 trips (ordering new sashes) to get it right, but they finally got it right. |

Description of Work: I LOVE my new Window World windows! The savings on electricity - we don't even need to run our AC - keep thermostat at 82 degrees in the summer. Haven't had a winter yet. Also, the noise reduction was very significant. And I love the Lifetime warranty. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and professional.

Description of Work: They replaced two sliding glass doors and two windows. They showed up on time (actually a little early!). They did a great job and were very polite. I could hardly even tell they were in my house after they left because they did such a great job cleaning up after themselves. I LOVE my new doors and windows!! I had also priced out some of the "big box" stores. Window world came in a little less expensive and I got more for my money.
