Description of Work: We got several prices to replace old cheap windows with better impact resistant ones throughout house. We had several sales people and they had the most comprehensive sales person who exlained things, and even did a demonstration on how low e glass filters heat-using a heatlamp and a sample window-to help us make our decision. The window quality is excellent and they were on time and got install done according to schedule except one that had been broken in transit to them, that they didn't know until they opened the bubble wrap. They took care of that and reordered one and we are going to have it put in when we can arrange a good day. Good followup on the problem-perhaps the best mark of a good company-everyone will have an occassional problem-that's life-but it's how you handle the problem that makes you a good company. I was happy despite the problem, it was handled well. |

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on new windows for my home. They were prompt and their prices were competitive. When I can afford to, I will definitely call them to replace the windows.

Description of Work: We had 12 windows replaced to update our home of 26 years. The crew came on time, were very clean about their work and efficient. The job lasted most the day, approximately 7 hours. From the salesman (Kenny) to the crew and their work, my husband and I could not be any more pleased. We had gotten a much better window (double hung, loved the lock feature on all windows, can open top or bottom) much better price and quality window than the other quotes we had gotten. The most important issue for us, the windows are lifetime guaranteed! We would highly recommend Window World

Description of Work: They installed 4, High Performance, High Impact windows in our master bedroom. In Feb 2014, I contacted Window World and had a representative come out and give an estimate. Scott was very knowledgeable, punctual, and provided all the necessary information to make an informed decision. We decided to go with Window World based on our contact with Scott and also the many positive reviews obtained from Angie's List. In April 2014, our windows were installed by Eric. Again, he was punctual, very knowledgeable about installing the windows, and very professional in that he cleaned up after the installation, ensured the installation was correct, and answered all my questions as he was installing the windows. He also cleaned the windows before he left. The windows seemed to be of excellent quality and I was able to apply for a window rebate from my utility company for the windows.

Description of Work: I needeed a plane of glass replace and they would not tell me if they did that, I think they only sell replacment windows. No help at all.

Description of Work: I had to replace single pane windows by double panel windows. The quote was great and the work has been performed on time and correctly. I will not hesitate to call them for further work.

Description of Work: We obtained an estimate, the salesman was very professional and polite - we decided to go with another provider - their estimate was too detailed and there was a charge for every single thing we wanted done - such as remove blinds, Their price was close to the one we chose except for the sliding glass door - it was nearly twice that of the other bidder. Their estimate form is much too detailed and it took us a while to figure out the cost of each window for comparison use. They also required 50% down - way too much for us to consider.

The windows themselves are beyond great. We had a traffic noise problem and new windows solved that. And our electric bill went down 40% last month.

Description of Work: Replaced all windows with insulated double pane that meet requirements of Progress Energy rebate and the federal tax credit. Salesman did an excellent job of explaining the types and styles of windows available without pressure to buy. After the windows were ordered, the installation date was arranged with consideration of our schedules. The day of the installation, the installers were late, but called to advise us. They arrived with a team of three and went about the removal of the old windows and installation of the new in a professional manner. They worked late and completed the job in one day. We are extremely pleased with the new windows as compared to the old builder windows. All in all, it has been a very satisfying experience.
