It was the worst contractor we have ever used in are home or business. People doing the floors were very sloppy and tried to hide there poor work. Things they broke they say they didn!t or said it was that way. Were always short of a tool and used ares.I had to cut doors to fit for as the two people they had left the company. The one they tried to cut they had to replace the door.Never did get the new floors clean had to hire other people to clean and seal floors.
Description of Work: Did not order all material as asked to do before starting which he did not do but said he did. It took six months to do jub he said would only take six weeks. When taking out the floors and kitchen was good but after that they only worked about 4 hours a day and never came before 9 oclock went to lunch at 11:30 to 12:30 then left a 2:00. Mike only checked on job when we would call about pool work and he always had a new reason. He was very rude to the wife and to get the job done I did over $4000.00 of the work myself. He lied about stove he was to have ordered and said he could not get that type. I when to Home Depot and bought it off the floor. It was a top end GE. The only good work that was done was the granit counter tops. Save yourself the trouble and find someone who cares about your house in a mess foe six months.

Good sales pitch and follow up until a down payment is received. The operation is disorganized and they fail to meet deadlines and schedules. They called me at 10am on the day of installation to tell me they would not be coming and that it woudl be another 4 days before it would be installed. They blamed an employee who had called out sick two days prior and they were not able to complete the work. My question is why do you wait until the morning of to call me and inform me? Very poor service from Mike Jensen and not service oriented at all. He had poor excuses for not calling me sooner and made little to rectify the situation. My recommendation is to save yourself the headache and go with someone else...It's not worth it.
Description of Work: Jensen cut and installed new granite for my kitchen counter.

The responded quickly to obtaining our downpayment and also wanted me to pay before the job was finished. The office argued with me about the lein release that I requested from them. No communication with the guys in the field. Mike and Nancy say one thing but then there is no follow up. It took three weeks of calls to get our dishwasher attached properly. We are still trying to get a broken travertine floor piece fixed that cracked. It cracked due to a void underneath the tile and needs to be repaired. This has been the most frustrating contractor experience.

Jensen employees arrived earlier than expected, which was okay since I was home. Everything went well until they moved the refrigerator. They tore my 3 year old vinyl floor in many places, but only told me about one place, the most visible. They did not complete a shim to hold my dishwasher in place (said they would return the next day) and would not let me turn on the water (said the grout holding the sink in would fail if wet) to see if I had a plumbing leak, which I suspected when I saw some water under the sink. The owner, Mike Jensen, who had received more than half payment the week before, tried to make me pay the rest and sign off that I was satisfied, which I refused to do. The next day a plumber appeared and fixed the leak I did have, the employees fixed the shim for the dishwasher, and tried to fix the flooring, which came up again. When I had Sears resurface my cabinets the installer asked me to stand by as he moved my refrigerator and showed me the multiple vinyl tears.
Description of Work: Jensen removed my formica counter-tops, installed granite counter-tops, replaced my sink with a divided stainless steel deep sink, installed new faucets, and hooked up the plumbing. All included in the price and all done in one day. It took nearly a month of constant calling to get Jensen to send someone who could properly repair the multiple tears under my refrigerator.
