It was under warranty. They didn't charge anything.

I bought my car in Palm Bay, Florida. I had looked here before but they didn't have one like mine for me to see before I ordered it so I got it in Palm Bay because they had one I could test drive. One time the guy had them take it back for me and they cleaned my inside windows and it made a big difference. I intend to ask them what in the world they used to get it so clean on the inside because that's the part you have to worry about too. I bought contracts for my cars. When I bought it I got a 10 year service thing but it isn't for normal service it's for if things go wrong that's not required regularly. Then I got another one that I wanted them to add to the 10 years because I keep a car a long time, but it started from the day I bought it for 5 years. That was $2,000 for that. I don't know if I even needed that but they said electrical problems occur the most with the Honda and that's what I need to be able to fix without it costing me a fortune. I have had no problems with my Honda. One time when I went on the way home it was giving me a tire pressure thing. It's just that they didn't reset something. I went back thinking that I had a tire pressure problem. My daughter was making sure she would measure the pressures and she did add some air to some of them. I went back there and they found that they just hadn't reset this thing. It didn't cost me anything and the manager was so nice. I sit and wait for the work to be done. It probably took an hour. They have a movie there you can watch and I don't make it through the whole movie. The workers were very nice. I really like the people who talk to you and do all the paper work for you when you pull in. After the service was done they shared what they did.

They were expensive this time. On this particular visit, I would have given them an A but I have gone there more than just this time. At this point, I gave them a B because sometimes, I have to wait a lot longer than I think is necessary. The price is probably typical, probably average. For this particular visit, they did a wonderful job.

Their customer service is okay, but I tend to wait a long time for them. I believe they are okay, but not the best.

Coggin Honda was very nice and professional. They got my car in and out of the shop in a reasonable amount time. I would recommend Coggin Honda to anyone else look to purchase or service a car.

There are so many numerous things I could say, starting with not being able to find the car keys or service contract when we arrived. Seriously? And when I got out of my Mini Cooper the men standing outside in sunglasses asked what we needed. Not in a friendly way. It was rude. We are now driving far south for excellent service at a Honda dealer elsewhere.

Very professional but not very efficient.
Overall good job. New AC part. AC works now but not very strong. Tend to think it's Honda's problem.
Price was scary but they said they found things that needed not be replace so knocked off 200 bucks.

I was very happy with the service. He had misquoted the price previously but he honored it. It was supposed to be higher but he honored that price that he had quoted me originally. What was good was that they didn't try to sell me a bunch of other stuff because I am a single woman, and also that on Monday's and Friday's, they have a massage therapist there that rubs your neck. They have movies, popcorn, snacks, and stuff, and they just really make your wait very comfortable. They were very professional, got me in, I didn't have to wait too long to speak to a representative and then they directed me to go sit. I have been there three times and I was very happy. I had trouble with the key they made afterwards, I went back and they honored everything. They go out of their way to be very nice. If I have something major, I would come back to Coggin Honda.

I took our 1999 Honda Accord to Coggin Honda in April 2012 with about 89,500 miles on it to get a quote on a timing belt replacement as recommended by Honda at 90,000 miles. I had a coupon for about $580. The coupon did not include items that Service Rep No. 1 said and quot;should be doneand quot;.
I also got a quote from Magic Mechanic (highly rated by Angie's List members). Their quote was about $900, but they included more items. On April 24, 2012 I emailed Service Rep No. 1 asking if Coggins quote included all the items (without using Magic Mechanics name) and if not to modify their quote. No response. So I again drove to Coggin on April 27th and asked Service Rep No. 1 why he did not respond to the email. He said he seldom checked his email. We discussed the other and quot;should be doneand quot; items. Valve adjustment ($260) and new spark plugs ($160) because it is much cheaper seeing the engine is opened up. Total estimate of $1,000. Still less than Magic Mechanic considering also getting spark plugs. I was told this all could be done in one day.
I brought the car in Monday morning April 30, 2012. Then in the afternoon the calls started. Now there was Service Rep No. 2 who recommended valve gasket in addition to valve adjustment, oil pan reseal and gasket, coolant pressure pipe and thermostat, and replace upper and lower heater hoses. I reluctantly agreed (who can debate with the experts?) This extended the work to the 2nd day. Near the end of the 2nd day I called and was informed that it would be done about 7:00 pm and Service Rep No.3 would call. No. 3 never called. I called on day 3 and was told I also needs new brake pads, at this point I said NO.
I ended up paying $$2,251.05. I told the Service Manager if I would have known I would have considered buying a new car. He shrugged his shoulders.
The next day I went to a Tire Shop for tire rotation and to check the brakes. Their measurements showed new brake pads NOT required; different than what Coggins said. This also raises the queston, was all of the Coggin and quot;extrasand quot; required??
Warranty. Magic Mechanic 5 years or 80,00 miles, Coggins verbally 1 year, but actual 90 days; lied to about warranty.
Would I ever go to Coggin for service again? I never say never but I will look elsewhere first.

I bought a used car from Coggin Honda, the original salesman was pleasant, but the internet salesman Harley, lied straight to my face regarding the price of an extended warranty, as well as what it covered. Additionally, after agreeing on the overall price, he tried to change it by saying he "forgot" to add taxes in. It was not until we met with the Finance Manager did we realize the lie regarding the warranty. Then, the head of the finance department lied about what was covered in the level of warranty we discussed, it was not until we asked to speak with the GM did they provide us with the correct warranty. I have dealt with bad companies before, but the level of deceit I dealt with at Coggin Honda was enough for me to tell each and every person I knew not to every purchase a vehicle from there. I would suggest anyone buying a car find another dealership, as I will definitely never be back there.

The time it takes to do these tasks always seems excessive. In this case, we were given a few different estimates for price and time. While the price was lower, the time was more.

Our Honda extended warrenty was expiring, so we wanted an inspection to determine if any needed service was covered under the warrenty. Some computer codes were cleared under warrenty. Additional recommendations were made by the Coggin staff. We decided to have two of the four recommendations completed.

We have a maintenance contract for them. We had a half price off on the rotation and a free oil change. This is the second car we have bought from them, and I can say that they have been very helpful and very good about their job.

In all our dealing we have found them very personable. The prices are very reasonable for Florida. Honda is so popular now that they don't move or deal much with prices. I like Coggin Honda because they treat you like a person and not like a number.

From the salesperson letting us try out which car to buy, to the manager to the financial person, Mike Sofka, it was all very professional.

I would not buy from them again because I felt so much sales pressure. I will say that though I do not like the experience that I had with the sales department.
