Description of Work: Jay replaced a triple socket that had broken and another light switch that wasn't working properly and checked an additional switch to make sure it was properly wired. He also installed an outdoor motion sensor light.

Description of Work: Original circuit breaker was 220. Previous owner had split the wiring outside to use 110 for a well/pump. When well bladder tank failed and pump burned out, had a well rebuild it. They were getting shocked trying to wire the new pump! Pat's changed panel circuit breaker from 220 to 110, installed new weather-proof circuit/box, wired in new pump. Brought it up to code.

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time. He was pleasant and courteous. He checked the problem at the bedroom ceiling fan and then had to face our very, very cluttered garage where the breaker box was. In spite of having to deal with our cluttered garage, he turned off the power and began working on the suspect ceiling fan. In spite of the dramatic sparking that caused me to call Pat's Electric, the technician reassured me it was a fairly simple fix. In no time, he had the problem fixed and our lighting and ceiling fan was functioning safely again. We had envisioned having to buy a new ceiling fan but Pat's Electric's very professional service saved us the cost of new fan and restored our bedroom fan and light for many more years of service. I recommend Pat's Electric and we will use them again.

Description of Work: Jay came to resolve some problems we have with switches and lighting. He gave some good advice on how to resolve the problem of a handicapped person walking into a dark room. He replaced a dining room ceiling fixture. He measured fluorescent lights and will order and replace. He was professional, helpful and efficient.

Description of Work: I called Pat's for service on my mother's home. They replaced ceiling fans, installed a fire alarm, etc. They were prompt and professional.

Description of Work: We lost all power to the electrical outlets in our master bedroom. The breaker had kicked off and when I tried to reset the breaker it would just kick off again. I checked the outlets but they appeared to be ok, I assumed the breaker was bad. I called Pat's at 2:30 pm today and the service man, Jay, arrived at 4pm. He checked the breaker and it was ok. So he had to begin a search on the circuit in the bedroom outlets to determine what the problem was. After he checked all the outlets he determined that a hot wire inside the wall was touching the ground and causing the breaker to trip. Instead of the costly and time consuming repair of pulling wire thru the walls, he just switched the neutral wire with the hot wire and the problem was solved, this was a lot less costly repair and he marked the change for any future homeowner who might see the difference in the color of the wire. I am very pleased with the work and the results and the cost.
