Cara from Crosby Lawn and Garden met with me and made notes on everything I had requested. The quote was quick and the timeline to get the project completed was also quick. The Crosby team showed up on time, did a great job and did a nice clean-up too. They asked me to inspect the work before they left. All in all a very good experience.

Cara has always shown up personally to discuss the work objectives, so she can tune in on our specific desires for the outcome. Then, she has quickly submitted a detailed plan of the scope of work, or project, in phases, if it is a large project, with costs of materials and labor clearly stated. Any problems or questions we had were easily sent to her, and quickly responded to. Her team was always punctual, courteous, and cleaned up after every encounter. Every one of our hardscape projects involved unseen obstacles, but they were handled with good judgement, grit, and her personal touch and follow-up to our satisfaction.

I am very disappointed and frustrated in my dealings with this company. They have provided landscaping services for other homes in my neighborhood and came as recommended by the other homes and Angie's List. The first contact from this company (after using their email address) was nearly immediate. I was impressed! The face-to-face meeting came close on the heels of that initial contact. I explained what I was looking for and was provided with a mock up of a design using photographs of my landscape beds. This is a valuable visual resource. We remained communicating via email, however, as I would respond to the mock up designs, making comments on what I liked and didn't like, the interval between the response to my comments and the reply became increasingly longer. I have had to, on several occasions, make repeated contact to this company in an attempt to move forward with the landscape design and estimate. It has been very close to two months now that I have tried to finalize plans for landscaping at my home with no results. I have, finally, requested discontinuation of email communication and that a face-to-face meeting be scheduled in order to complete the design and obtain an estimate. I have now been asked for a design fee because of 'the amount of time that has already been spent in creating the mock ups'. I have declined to move forward with the landscape services of this company. I feel as if I've had to chase them down and have nothing to show for the two months that have been spent in trying to get an estimate for landscaping.

Provider called me and left me a message on April 25, 2016 and said that they were sorry that they could not come over that afternoon. They were not supposed to come over until April 26, 2016 so I called them back that night on April 25, 2016 and said that they were not supposed to come over until the next day which was April 26, 2016. They then called me the afternoon of April 26, 2016 and left me a message that they could not come that afternoon because their truck broke down. They said they would call me and reschedule. I have not had a phone call from them to reschedule and this is Wednesday at 2;30 p.m. You would think that if they were going to reschedule they would have called me this morning to reschedule. I know things happen so I did understand about their truck breaking down. But not to call me to reschedule the next morning is unexcusable. I would not hire this company now or in the future..

Everything was great. The owners were responsive and helpful, and super nice. They came out right away to give me an estimate, which was very fair, and got the work done in the short time frame that I had to get everything done in. Everything looks great, and I couldnt be happier. I was actually so satisfied with Crosby's team and their responsiveness that I switched my lawncare service and Crosby is now doing that for my property.

My wife and I had just bought a house that had been vacant for sometime prior to our taking possession. What was once a mature lawn had be drastically neglected. There was no way in heck I was going to tackle this mess, so I started taking bids. Crosby was the last one. Right off the bat they showed more knowledge and made better suggestions than the other lawn care professionals had. The other lawn care professionals had great ideas, but Cara & Maria's were better. They showed up with a team of workers and turned a juggle into a beautiful garden, reset pavers and boarders, laid stone and took out tons of over grown debris. Both my wife and I were so impressed we hired them as our monthly lawn care provider.

I hated the unsightly bushes in our backyard. During my 1st meeting with the owners I expressed my likes and dislikes & they captured my wishes perfectly! I wanted something more tropical at the same time something extremely low maintenance & they delivered! My backyard has a totally different feel now, much more relaxing and tranquil. Work was scheduled for December 3rd, they arrived that day on time & the work was completed that same day. My husband stopped home in the afternoon to provide payment, the employees were not completely finished at that time, my husband saw something that he wanted changed. It was NOT something that the staff did wrong, just something that my husband changed his mind on (he didn't want a particular plant near the side of the house as we had originally planned). When he expressed his desire to have that particular plant taken out, the staff & owner were very accommodating. I bring this up to highlight what excellent customer service we received! I'm sure as a business owner last minute changes like this can be annoying but we were very pleased with the excellent customer service. I can definitely recommend this company for landscaping services.

Crosby did an amazing job with my landscape project. This required a complete redesign of all the landscaping in the front and side of the house. They also had to remove all exsiting landscaping, fix irrigation, and plant all the new plants. Everything turned out amazing and our landscaping went from the worst house on the block to the best one. The best feature is actually the stone border they were able to add using unique materials that cannot be found anywhere else. Communication throughout was great with design work sent via email. Pricing was what I expected ot pay for the services provided. I would recommend Crosby for any landscaping job!

We are a recent relocation to the Tampa Area and bought a house in Safety Harbor. The yard areas surrounding the house were overgrown and the shrubs had not been tended to in a very long time. We wanted a heavy cleanup. I requested bids to do the work from 4 contractors. One never responded. The other three bids ranged $ 1580.00 to $ 2500. Crosby was in the middle. Cara is the owner, and I have always tried to support businesses run by women so I took a chance. Their performance was amazing and a true value. I extended my business with them to lawn maintenance and a few other projects to get the property in shape. I also plan on using them for some fruit tree planting in the spring. They are professional, punctual and hard working. We can't say enough good things about them
