I was referred to this company by a friend who had found this company on Angie's List and used them herself. The salesman was timely and polite. Phone conversations with company members were always professional and they would return phone calls promptly. There was a bit of a language barrier with the installers. Only 2 installers put up the fence. It was discovered they had only brought 2 gates and had to contact the company to have the third gate delivered while the installation was in progress. I thought it was great that the gate arrived before the installation was completed. It was later discovered that the fence was installed directly on some of my sprinkler heads and one of my lines was completely cut. The sprinkler head where the line was cut was buried in the ground. I didn't know this had happened until months later, when my yard started dying. I tested my sprinkler system to see if the heads needed adjusted, and that's when I noticed the damage. I had to pay $130 to have things moved and repaired. It would have been appropriate for the installers to notify me of the issues during the installation. The sprinkler heads were not hidden, as they had a concrete donut around them. There was no way that the installers did not know they were there. Other than the installation issues. While the fence looks nice, I was a little disappointed with the customer service provided by the installers. I contacted the company and recommended their installers be educated on notifying customers of issues like this as they come up. I also recommended the salesman recommend the customer move sprinklers if there is a chance of them being damaged during fence installation. The person I spoke with provided a contact for someone to fix my sprinkler system who is affordable.

Dealing with Family Fence was positive and a great pleasure. I found them while searching Angie's List for fence companies to close in my back yard with the standard white vinyl 6 foot fencing. The thing that stood out to me the most was the initial contact with Family Fence and dealing with them on the phone. I had received one other estimate prior to Family Fence, from a large home improvement retail store, and the experience was not as good. A gentleman from that particular company came out and not only gave us the estimate but was very pushy to make a sale. I knew that their quality of work would be superb, but I did not like that approach. Family Fence however was the opposite- they left it up to me to set up the installation if I wanted, offering a discount within 30 days of the estimate. Dealing with Family Fence in general was no hassle and easy. The guys were polite on the phone, answered questions and were patient with my Homeowner's Association dragging its feet for approval. Their price was also quite better than the first estimate I had gotten. As far as the work, I am very happy with the finished product. The crew was running quite a bit late the day of installation due to another customer, but they called me and explained and offered to help with the price a little bit (which nobody ever does these days). Them being behind didn't bother me anyways because I could tell they were professional and these things happen. They even sent additional crews to get my job done within the day like they said. The crew members were very nice guys and explained everything to me well, especially the leader on the job. They worked fast but efficiently. I let them do their work, and then when I walked outside upon completion I was very satisfied. The leader took his time to point things out to me and informed me about the warranties and etc. The fence still looks great after a few weeks. A neighbor even asked who installed my fence and I told them the same thing I wrote here. Overall, I would recommend Family Fence to anybody.

Family Fence was WONDERFUL! They were super patient with me as I bounced back and forth between wood and vinyl fencing even with it taking me months to decide. They were very responsive and very professional. I got a four other quotes from other companies. Family Fence was the least expensive and could install quickly. The guys that showed up were timely, worked quickly and did a wonderful job. The new fence looks beautiful and I completely love it! I didn't replace the back section of my current fence yet, but I will definitely be calling them when I do.

The crew came on Friday on time. They removed the old roten wooden fence and installed a new fence. The quality of the new fence was far greater than I expected. The fence was built solidly, and the back 10 ft gate was reinforced with aluminum. I am very pleased with the crew and the look and quality of the fence. The only thing that I thought was not professional, was that I received a call on Tuesday April 12th from Family Fence by an upset man. He thought that I owed half the project $795. When I already paid his worker on the day the fence was built with a check, as was instructed to me by the Family Fence Salesperson. I was upset that I received no apology from him or that he did not check with his crew before calling me. Appart from that incident, I am pleased with the fence, and I will be hiring them again to replace my remaining wooden fences.

They showed up right on time with a big crew and promptly removed the old fencing and installed the new one. It is just short of 100 feet and they did the entire job within 4 hours! They cleaned up behind themselves and hauled away the old one as was agreed to. I'd hire them again.

I obtained additional estimates for fencing- debating whether to chose wood vs vinyl. Family Fence had a reasonable estimate, with a lifetime warranty (2 years labor/parts) and I am SO glad I decided to go with them. I called them on 4/4/16 to schedule the install, and they were able to put the fence up on 4/5/16. I was skeptical they could do it all in one day. They took down 130 Ft of old wood fencing; they replaced it with 259 ft pvc. I also had 2 gates that had to be replaced. Lots of trees/roots surrounding the fence, but they didn't seem to have a problem with it. They did a super job, and I have already received many compliments. Great workers, they started about 9 and completed the job by the time I came home from mine at 5. I LOVE my new fence! THANKS!

This is the second home that I have used Family Fence and have been very pleased on both occasions. They were priced better than the competition. They were on time and preformed the work as per contract.

This company is wonderful! They responded to my phone call the same day I contacted them. They were out 2 days later for the free estimate and the price was great! The work was scheduled for the following week. They did a wonderful job of taking out the existing 4 ft. fence and had the new 6' fence installed in a matter of a few hours! The installers were very polite and the fence is lovely. This is a wonderful company to do business with!!

ct, the remaining bid process was excellent. We called and someone came out right away. When we called back a few weeks after signing the contract and putting up a deposit, we were told someone would call us back to schedule, but we never received a call back. we called again and were told the same thing. My husband actually went over to the office on Lithia Pinecrest and was told the owner was the only person who could schedule the install. Husband stopped there several times until he finally got someone to give us a date for install. It's sad that they were so unresponsive, since the workers did an excellent job installing the fence. It looks beautiful and we were very happy with the price. Would have been nice if someone had called us back, or if employees were empowered to make decisions or schedule work. Seems like once you get past the initial bid process and sign the contract, the remaining decisions rest on the shoulders of one person there, and if he's not available, or busy, you get nowhere. We are very pleased with the fence, and the price, just sad it took so many personal visits to set a date for installation. Everyone was very professional, just not very responsive.

Jim Wilson responded promptly to our request for an estimate. After receiving a couple of other estimates we decided on Family Fence. They performed the work within a week. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in about five hours. They were professional. they did a good job and removed the old fence material. Thus far we are very satisfied with the new fence.

Excellent job. Work done as promised. Crew was very professional and did all work in the time promised. Crew was on time for the job. When they left it was like they were never here. The area was spotless. A pleasure to have them do the job.

The entire process was smooth and confidence inspiring. Matt came out and provided an estimate, along with the discount we would receive for prompt payment. Once we called and scheduled the install, the crew was out here within a couple days and the entire install only lasted a few hours. The install crew was great, and the finished product is exactly what we were looking for. For reference, the estimate we received was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive...and we're very happy we went with Family Fence as the quality and customer service was excellent. If you want them to haul away the old fence, you'll need to let them know that in advance (I asked the day of service, but they had the truck loaded for another job that day and couldn't take it). This does not reflect negatively on their service at all; I didn't ask them to do so initially, I merely want folks to know that you should schedule that during your estimate if desired.

The first project went fine. But I have three other jobs and despite leaving multiple messages I can't even get a call back to schedule an estimate. ***UPDATE*** Spoke to management after posting my original unsatisfactory review. Came to a resolution and had another two properties worked on. Everything went fine after speaking to management.

Very Good Job and Experience

Great experience. This was our second time using this company, and we are very happy we did. Cory in the office does a great job of organizing everything and keeping you informed. The crew was very nice and called me with any questions. They did an excellent job, and I would recommend these guys to anyone.

As soon as we had approval they showed up within a day or two. They were fast and completed the job quickly. We were so impressed we recommended them to the neighbors who are also looking to install a fence.I would definitely use this company again. Of all of the quotes we received they were the cheapest and had the best warranty.

When they say "Best Price" Fast Service" they mean it!!! They arrived on time and did a great job!!! They removed the old fence and replaced it with new PVC. They used a bag of cement for each post...looks great!!

Cory at the office coordinated the installation and it went very well. The crew of 3 came around 9nish with another 2 members joining at noon. Jesse, the lead, was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions before starting the job. It's fun watching them putting up the fence. We ran into a small problem with one of the gate where it hit the side of the house when opened because of the angle of the fence but the crew was quick to figure out a way to fix it. Another small problem was discovered after the crew left. A sprinkler head was damaged during that installation and a call to Cory had it corrected in no time. Everything came out beautifully. We have seen fences with posts don't line up in a straight line and the top goes up and down even on flat terrain, not the fences from Family Fence. We have had numerous compliments from friends and neighbors about our new fence. We have looked at 5 other fencing companies but we ended up with Family Fence because of the good comments from other clients and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a new fence, you can't go wrong with Family Fence. They know how to take care of their customers. Good luck.

I recently moved to a new neighborhood in Land O Lakes and needed to fence in our yard so our children and dogs could have a place to run and play. I needed a vinyl 4ft picket fence. I called several fence companies to get estimates. When the folks from Family Fence Company came out, they not only had a competitive bid, but they also offered to process all of the HOA paperwork that needed to be done in order to get the fence approved. I hired them on the spot. I put down a 50% deposit so that they could order the materials and have the fence ready to install once the HOA approval came through. I received the approval in the mail a few weeks later, on a Saturday. I called them right away and they came out within 3 days and installed the fence in one day. The quality of the fence and workmanship is excellent. They were very professional and so nice to work with, every step of the way. I love my new fence and my family loves their new back yard. The neighbors have also commented on how much they like fence. I HIGHLY recommend Family Fence Company to anyone in the Tampa area that needs a fence.

Family fence company is the best on angieslist.They came out quickly and removed my old wooden fence then installed the new pvc fence in 3hrs which was fast.The quality of the installation and work was very good.I really like how the workers cleaned up the area after they finished leaving the area immaculate.

They were then prompt, courteous, and exceeded all expectations. they went above and beyond to ensure that what i was envisioning is just what we got. From the quote to the work being perform, service was excellent! They processed the necessary paperwork to obtain approval through our HOA, which was a huge benefit of using their company.
