Serviced fireplace but then also built custom cap and provided grate. I could not be happier with their workmanship and professionalism.

They were not responsive to my emails at all. I tried scheduling through rapid connect and no one ever got back to me. I asked for a refund at this point since I was not interested anymore 2 weeks after I had purchased.

On time...cleaned up... Left a copy of the check list and areas of concern

Recommended new chimney cap which caused a lot of smoke with the wrong one. They ordered one and will be here soon.

While inspecting the chimney, he discovered that the back panel was cracked. When he removed it he showed me the crack and charged me $275 to replace it. He also did a great job cleaning the chimney. Before leaving, he also recommended some maintenance that needed to be done and that we could do to extend the life of our chimney.

It went well and we will probably use them again.

Purchased coupon from Angie's List. After a couple emails/calls back and forth a date was scheduled. Unfortunately, one of their trucks broke down. However, I was called early and informed of the truck situation and rescheduled for the next day. They were polite, tidy and measured the fireplace door space for me since I am looking to replace those doors. I would definitely recommend Chimney Keepers!

They were on time and professional, and they were very clean while doing a dirty job.

I made the appointment. They came out while I was at work. My husband was at home and he took care of everything. They got it done. We had a really long dryer hose. It was probably 15 feet long and only needed to be 5 feet so they cut it and put in a shorter one. We are doing ok. It was a big deal purchase. We paid for 2 services at the same time. The price was fine and I don’t have anything to compare it to. They got it all clean and they told that it was safe. I wasn’t here but if I had been here, I would have asked them on how to clean the brick on the fire place so it isn’t so sooty. They did what they came to do. They got back to me in a timely manner to setup an appointment. My husband said that they were here on time. They were very professional. My husband is an architect and we have a chimney balloon. It’s a rectangular balloon that is stuffed up the chimney. When the damper is closed, it keeps us from losing air-conditioning up the chimney or excessive heat. They knew what it was and they moved it out.

They came while I was at work, and my husband said they were professional, thorough, and neat. The only thing I would have dreamed they would have done is scrub the interior brick work LOL.

It went very well. One gentleman came into the house and the other gentleman was on the roof. He's the one who did the actual cleaning. The gentleman inside taped off the openings and layed a tarp to protect my carpet. Both gave us pointers on some do's and don'ts. They even discovered a problem with our chimney cap and are coming back to fix it.

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. They were very accommodating and friendly in scheduling service. The men who completed the work were prompt, friendly and professional. They thoroughly inspected and cleaned the chimney and even fixed the damper that was off track. I feel confident in the work that was done and the quality of service received.

Except that I had to call re followup, real well; had to order parts; I hit the busy season. The job seemed well done.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It worked out very well. They were very personable, thorough with their inspections, they were very helpful. The work was very good. They came out to do the work a few weeks after my purchase.

It went fantastic. We moved into our townhome and wanted to use the fire place so we hired the Chimney Keeper who came in, did a great job cleaning and cleaning after themselves. They pointed out the potential hazards for our chimney and also our neighbors (their chimney was much worse than ours). They took pictures of the exterior of the chimney and shared with us why our chimney was leaking and had water damage. They explained everything clearly and wrote up an estimate for repairs of the exterior and interior. They also took pictures of the exterior chimney of the HOA president so that I could present the pictures and estimates to the HOA for approval for repair of the exterior. I was very satisfied with all aspects of the cleaning, explanation of what needed to be done and also the prices of estimated repair. I would highly recommend The Chimney Keeper.

At first no one called to set up an appointment and I became concerned but later found out that the person that does the scheduling was out due to an ill relative. They were all very helpful and accomodating once I made contact with them and performed the promised services on the day and time that was scheduled.They are very nice people. I would recommend them.

Nick was great. He called one hour before they arrived (as promised) and then arrived on time. When they were finished, my fireplace looked great. They didn't leave any kind of mess despite the fact my fireplace hadn't been cleaned in 14 years and didn't try and up-sale me either. Nick also suggested we grout and told me what to buy so we don't have any additional water damage. I will definitely use Chimney Keeper again and highly recommend them!

The 2-man team was very professional and clean, and took the time to do a thorough job and explain everything to me. I had not used the fireplace since moving into the house, but now feel completely safe to do so. I plan to have these guys back to install a damper to keep out the dirt and winter chill and cut down on my heating costs. Highly recommend.

Chimney Keepers contacted me right away to set up an appointment. They were prompt, professional, and very pleasant. An inspection was done on my chimney. One issue, I was told to keep an eye on because it would need future repair. Water was coming into the chimney so that repair was scheduled and casing ordered. Upon return, repair and cleaning were performed. I was very satisfied. There was one issue that we were to told to keep an eye on and recommendation was made to go to Home Depot for part because they would be cheaper. They also recommended where we could purchase quality firewood which we have done. Yes, I will contact them for future cleaning/repairs/inspections.

Nick and Joe provided excellent service when cleaning my chimney. This being a family business, I would say they take care of you like family. I purchased the "Big Deal" from Angie's List for my service, and while my expectations were a little high, they were able to achieve. Nick called ahead to let me know they were on the way, and arrived before they said they would. They were very professional, providing drop cloths and a HEPA vacuum to prevent any dust or soot from entering the home. In total, about half an hour to completely inspect and clean the chimney and firebox. Great value for the deal and I will be using their services in the future.
