All in all I would hire this company again. They did quality work, had clean site when done, and replaced a screen door that other companies failed to help me with. They also pointed out an additional screen that we missed and was broken. Saved me from having to call them back. I have had other companies do similar work in the past and their pricing was a bit higher. I did not like that they also charged me an additional fee just for showing up. Now the cost in the market may have changed as I have not called anyone in for 2 years. Overall I would say the pricing was still reasonable and I am willing to pay for good service and trust. There is always someone cheaper. They were 4 days later than the date they told me (one day was a Sunday) because they did not receive the door in a timely manner. I would have liked them to have told me in advance they were not coming. This was after waiting almost a week for someone to come out and give an estimate. So if you want speedy work it is probably not them.

Everything was excellent. The first phone call was professional and then they got back to me in a timely manner. Estimator showed up exactly on time. Within a week, the screens were ordered. The installer was 10 minutes early (that NEVER happens) and he was done within 30 minutes. The entire experience was wonderful, without any issues whatsoever! The quality of the screens is excellent as well.

Freddie arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time, introduced himself (I had already rec'd his picture via e-mail from his company) and allowed me to show him the problem doors. He inspected eight sliding glass doors and quoted me over $700.00 for everything. This was a bit over my budget so I asked for a quote for the two most problematic doors and he appeared glad to adjust his quote. The new quote came in at $268.00, was approved by me and he spent approximately 2 hours on the repairs. He was very pleasant, efficient and obviously knew what he was doing. He picked up everything he could see against the chatahoochee and disposed of the trash. I stepped on a few screws later, but they were almost invisible and I don't consider it a big deal. When I called Sunshine initially my call was disconnected, but I was called back within seconds, that impressed me as good business!

I called Sunshine Door one afternoon - they followed up with a visit for the estimate the next day. I was scheduled within a week to have the work done. The team of workers arrived on time to do the work. They finished the work in the time expected. Everything was kept very neat and tidy during the work day and they cleaned up totally prior to leaving. I was totally pleased with the work they performed and have recommended them to friends and family. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I have not had any more problems since Sunshine Doors made the adjustment to the door.

My large sliding glass door was not, well, sliding! Sunshine Door promptly set up an appointment and most noteworthy, via email, a picture of their technian Fred, assigned to my repair! Fred was scheduled to come by around 5:00 pm but called if he could stop around noon. Yes, of course! Fred tested the door and explained what needed to be done. He gave me the estimate (includimg the Angie's List discount) for $140.00. I said go ahead. Fred expertly took out the old, worn wheels and installed the new ones. Then, he took out the door lock, re-installed & aligned the lock & latch to perfection. The alignment was so well done that the slide bar lock on top of door slid smoothly into its notch (it had been difficult to even pound bar before). He tested the door many times to ensure smooth sailing. He sprayed silicon lubricant on the top rails as a final touch. And all of this without taking the door off! He advised to NOT use WD-40; the silicon spray would be best, if and when necessary. Fred was courteous, experienced and professional. Sunshine Doors Specialists, from start to finish, were great and best of all, their prices are reasonable. Thank you Fred and Sunshine Door Specialists! Keep up the great work!

Overall great experience which started within minutes of the first phone call - when I received photo of the gentleman that would be arriving at my home for the estimate. Rare to see this degree of care and service in Miami and it was appreciated. When Clebber arrived, he assessed the existing screens and what needed to be done; answered a series of questions; and in a short time we had a plan. IMplementation took place on agreed upon dates, with exceptional quality and frequent communications. The finished product is excellent and I would happily use them on a future job. Cannot say enough good about this vendor!

cellent workThe Sunshine field salesman/installer came to our condo and measured nine sliding door openings. He provided a quote for 9 screen doors which I accepted. About two weeks later all screen doors were installed. The work was done efficiently, neatly and exactly at the appointed time. These folks do excellent work.

My initial phone conversation with Mr. Carlos Habib was quite informative. Not only did he go into detail on product and service that would be provided, he scheduled my appointment for the following day, and emailed me a picture of Fred the technician that would be coming to my home. Fred was accompanied by technician Silvano, who not only showed up on time, but seemed to complete the job with apparent ease. They were pleasant, professional, efficient, and explained each step so I understood how it all came together. They not only made sure their work area had minimal mess, they vacuumed the area afterward, Such a pleasure to have a competent company to deal with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with sliding door issues.

I've been so impressed with the service that I have not only told other people about them, but I also keep their information in my cell phone. They do outstanding service and I will continue to use them in the future.

Very well. I made the appointment with ease. They sent me an email confirming appt with a photo of the workman. He called ahead, arrived exact and was professional and very pleasant. He saw the problem, fixed and changed the lock. My mother was very happy with the new lock and enjoyed the pleasant gentleman who was very patient and explained the mechanism and showed how to work it. Would definitely use again.

They were very courteous. They came and did the estimate when they said they would. Then they came the next day to do the job. They guy was very nice and very courteous. We did not get any other estimates and just figured they would all be comparable. It looks like good quality. I would use them again.

Based on the good reviews this company had here, we called them to repair the glass on one of our sliding glass doors that had shattered. When we called they were unfriendly and said they were busy, but that they would cal us back the next day. That was a year ago. We still haven't heard back. Obviously we went with someone else since it wasn't something that could wait. Not sure why all of the great reviews unless they're only good when they bother to call back or show up. Now that I need more work done I'm skipping over this company without considering them at all. Updated on 10/1/2012: To respond to the owner of the company: I waited a year to submit a report, because that is when I was back on Angie's list to look for a company. I was prompted to by Angie's List and I did. If that bothers you, sorry, but it doesn't change the facts of my experience with your company. Outside of that, to clarify, I didn't call as an emergency case, I did not ask you to reroute someone to us, since we were able to cover the door until a repairman was sent, and we actually spoke to someone in your office (maybe even you), who stated that we would be called back. The facts remained the same, you didn't call us back, you didn't keep your word, you did not extend the simple courtesy of saying yes or no, we can or cannot help you. You left us hanging. Emergency or no emergency, doesn't change the fact that you didn't keep your word when you said you would call us back to schedule an appointment. We can't be a scheduled customer that you speak of, if you never call us back to schedule the appointment in the first place. If you can't even do that, why would I use you or ever recommend you? I wouldn't and I don't. And you are one of the companies we are sick and tired of dealing with - the type that ignore the small customer to go after the larger customer, forgetting that later on, we might consider you for a large job.

I contacted Sunshine Doors and spoke with Carlos, who arranged for an estimate. He followed up with the scheduled appointment by providing an email that included a picture of the technician. The technician arrived on schedule and provided an assessment of the issue and the need. I agreed to the work and price and he advised that he could complete the work at that time. He completed it in a timely manner and was professional. I would use them again.

It went very well. He came to give us an estimate and did the work the next day. Very professional and clean up everything afterwards.

I had a sliding glass door (better said "grinding" glass door) on a mobile home I recently purchased in Homestead Florida. It was just dreadful, a constant irritant because the grinding glass patio door is actually the "front" door of this mobile home because of the way the it is positioned on the lot. It was the first thing I wanted to fix after moving in. I found Sunshine through Angies' List. Right at the top. Their website's opening page cartoon video clip of a man dealing with a grinding glass door depicted my problem with exactitude. Ha!! I couldn't wait to call. They responded immediately by phone and sent out a technician the next day. The tech did a great job on this cranky old sliding glass door. It's still an old sliding glass door, but I can now operate it with one finger, just like Sunshine's ad says. This old glass door has a new lease on life and will probably outlast me. I paid $130 for the fix, which took the tech over an hour to complete. Yep, $130. I gave the tech a $30 tip, so the whole thing cost me $160, a bargain in my estimation. He gave me the estimated price before he undertook the work. Replacing the entire sliding glass door would have been ideal, but that would have cost between $750 and $1,000. The tech not only did not try to steer me toward a complete replacement, but assured me that my grinding door could be salvaged to my satisfaction. Refreshing! Called 3 "A Rated" companies here on Angie's List. One company quoted me a price over the phone to replace the rollers, plus an additional price if the actual track had to be replaced. Sunshine Doors made an appointment to come by the following Monday to give me an estimate. The tech came by at the appointed time, checked out the door & track, told me the track was fine but that the rollers needed to be replaced & gave me a written estimate. I asked him how long it would take & when he could do it, he replied "About an hour, and I can do it now if you like" so I gave him the go ahead. He tapped out my old rusted rollers, installed new ones, sprayed silicone on the tracks, and now the door opens & closes pretty easily. Tech seemed like a nice guy, cleaned up after himself, I'm fairly happy.

Fred was a great representative of the company (is he secretly the owner?). Everything worked out perfectly.

Within a week my part arrived and once again Sergio arrived on time and fixed my broken window mechanism. Sergio lubricated all my windows so they would open easier! The whole experience from start to finish was excellent:) Follow up was wonderful and I highly recommend this company to everyone:))))

It went very well, the owner is responsive and conscientious as were his workers. Pricing: it seems the prices are generally high for these products especially if you want certain manufacturers; we did get a small Angie's List discount which was appreciated. They were all concerned with us being satisfied as customers and put in that extra effort that is often missing from other companies. Besides this they were all very pleasant and hard-working. We would definitely hire them again as these qualities are absent from many businesses in Miami making them a stand-out here.
